ya vq i was the same way with DA.... It basically was like starting from scratch since the whole game engine was revamped. I went in with an open slate and came out liking 1.Shang, 2.Kung Lao, 3.Raiden 4.Kitana 5.Bo Rai Cho. Don't you find it funny how Shang was such a bad ass in the actual game, but he is nothing more than a punching bag in the intro movie for deception?

To break 25% with Sub is pretty easy I would say. Shotokan: 1,2,b+2,b+2,cs,1,2~cs does like 29% IIRC(I literally have not touched MKDA in 2 months). Dragon: 1,1,2,d+2,1,2~cs also does about 29%. Sub's not weak or anything, he's just wack because everything is unsafe. BTW, if anyone is the Sub-Zero master it's MRS! Beat Bill's Sub pretty bad I heard, and he's not even close to being MRS's main character. SKILLZ!
Sub's throw does more than 1,2,b+2? Still doesn't answer my other questions Anthony. I'd rather sacrifice a little damage than to have a move that isn't as retaliation free as Shoto: 1 on block.
Asking why NJ sucks at fighters is like asking why Asians have that weird odor to them sometimes..you just don't really know. I think it's because the best state at pretty much all fighting games is all the way on the west coast(cali) or really far away (chicago). I think we are OK at MVC2, but that's cuz Justin Wong(best MVC2 player in the world) is like an hour away. MKL was from New Jersey so we were pretty good at MK, and so is Matt.
I honestly think Low Tier characters will compete better against top tier characters when compared to MKDA tony. Simply put, Combo Breakers and Death Traps will help their case.
JRF I talked to Bill just the other day telling him to come back, and he doesn't wanna hear it. That guy is strictly down with DOA now. He doesn't even wanna learn T5 when that comes out. I even tried telling him that we all miss him and he still didn't care. He says MK sucks and that it doesn't get any respect and such. While that's true, MK just don't feel right without MKL in the house, oh well, nonetheless like you said, there will be a new top dog in MKD. New Era so to speak.

Yeah, tier lists matter nothing in intro movies ;). Otherwise he would have defeated Quan and Raiden hands down. And Raiden didn't even use his staff omg the n00b!

I dunno, I think I'm the only one who liked BDC and tried to strategize it to an advantage. You mentioned my Sub bein 00ber, Shoto: d+3,bdc,side-step fucked with everyone i ever played.
Plus, Sub-Zero's blocking is BROKEN! I can't understand how i found a glitch in the blocking system that you can totally use to your advantage and I was laughed at by bill and kell, and whoever the hell else...
Sure it was probably the wrong thing to call it a "final secret" at the time, but I could side-step after an attack, it appears i'm not blocking so you attack me thinking I'm gonna take some damage. WRONG!!! Instant automatic block! Sub was the king of the auto-blocking, but Cage and some others had this glitch...
I hope "Shinj00ko" is customizable for each fight. Have we heard anything about how he's going to work? If you could pick your styles and specials whenever you want.... oh, then shits gonna get fucked up, beeyotch!
