The Online community for MKD wont be dead at all. I can't understand for the life of me why people say that. It makes no sense. Probably, MK fans are too much MK fans to quit. lol, we're all still here talking about the game so that proves a point.
On a sidenote: I hope MKD jacks some online stuff from DoAU cause that shit is hot. Being able to hang out and swap players in and do things like tournament mode, player survival, team battle, practice, 1on1, loser stay, etc. is cool. Specatators is a must too, I hope they include that because if the game comes out with no tournament feature, a spectator mode will allow people to not have disputes about reporting back wins/losses for player hosted tourneys due to people lying.
Edit: Bob has some cool shit Verse =P his items look cool so far.

nah man I doubt that'll happen, its probably just going to be the chess, puzzle, and 1on1 vs. mode.
PS2 Online sounds alot better then the X-Box version.
With all those rooms, great for tourneys. X-Box will just have opti and create a match probably

What an obvious bump..haha.
Ed Boon said all classic characters will have ALL of their old school moves. So does that mean Sub will have the slide,ground ice,air shower,ice shaker AND cold shoulder? Oh snap.

My main in T5 will be this man:

The word out right now is that he has two air throws. Also, u/f+4, 1,2, f+2,2,2 owns you.
Anyway, DOA does have some nice online options, but I doubt MKD would have something like having up to 8 players watch the match of two others and wager, etc.

Yeah, long ago. They promised customization abilities for Shujinko. But just like ripped attire and the like, they did not include it and did not mention it until it faded from the memories of a lot of people.

The slide was consistantly one of Sub's best moves in every MK. Also just thought of something pretty ill. Though I doubt it will work.
clone,slide,if it connects,they'll flip over into the clone. From here you can either juggle or knock them into a near by death trap. That would be hot.

Dude, I totally did not think of that, that IS the shit. But one of the guys that tried the latest build of MKD say that Subby has only freeze and clone I think?

Yeah, freeze produces considerable push back on block, so you could work that into clone traps, too. Be a lot easier if we were given a decent cross up, though. "hmph" -_-

I think Sub is gonna have Clone, Freeze, Shaker, and Cold Shoulder I dont think they'll give him anything new or from previous games, its to late now. I think they'll just import his remaining MKDA moves.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Darrius isn't going to be very good? Shinto ryu looks like a karate derivative (at least it has the 1,1,b+2 combo and f+2, and the same pose), while leopard is not exactly a top notch stance either.
Perhaps gauntlets will save him, but they don't seem very impressive.
Any other thoughts on Darrius?

I don't have a gamertag yet since I don't have XBox Live yet but I'm hoping TonyTheTiger isn't taken. If it is I'll probably use some kind of derivative. Or another cereal mascot. Did anyone notice in the Darrius video he changed styles in both directions? I don't know if that's new or not but I want to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Also can someone tell me how PS2 Online works? I know that Sony has a hands off approach so how does the payment plan go and does it cost differently for each game as opposed to the one price for XBox Live?

PS2 online is for the free free. And from what Boon said in that gamer development vid, the PS2 online sounded better than the xbox. But he always doesn't know what he's talking about.
But he said on the PS2 side that you can make rooms, tourneys, rooms with passes and such. He said for the xbox it was just a find and seek game for an opponent.
