MY Character List for MK6 - And I Guarantee You'll Like It :)

Here's who I'd pick. I've included those character we know are confirmed (no point in not including them ;), and am operating under the 25-character limit. I'll explain why I chose them at the end...

In alphabetical order, so as not to show favoratism ;)

Ashrah
Baraka
Ermac
Frost
Hotaru
Jade
Johnny Cage
Kabal
Kenshi
Kitana
Mileena
Nightwolf
Nitara
Noob Saibot
Quan Chi
Reptile
Scorpion
Sindel
Smoke
Sonya
Sub-Zero

That's 21. I leave the last four to the imagination, and assume they're new characters we haven't seen before (adding to above-named Ashrah & Hotaru).

Why did I pick who I did? Simple... it's a fan service. We know that the odds of more than a handful of us getting our ENTIRE favorite list is slim, but I think it's very possible to get the most #1 favorite characters. I tried to cover the most number of people's #1 favorites, and these are who I think come up the most. I think this list covers 95% of Mortal Kombat fandom's #1 favorite fighters.

I think Midway making a 'showcase' of fan favorites isn't a bad idea at all. Of course they can't please *everybody,* but they probably CAN please the huge majority of us ;)

So tell me, please, one of two things: Is your #1 favorite MK character on this list? If so, who?

OR, if your #1 favorite character isn't on this list, tell me who I forgot ;) I think there will be a lot more from the former than the latter... but I'm not trying to slight anybody. This could turn into a poll to get the most #1 favorites ;)

Great list. I agree with what U said. Besides, The team must realize that the "all time favorites" such as Scorpion, Sub-zero and Sonya are a must.

Well the list isn't complete by any means - I'm hoping more people will offer feedback, and if certain characters on the list in fact don't have much support, I'd be happy to trade them for others who have some votes who aren't present. Then, heck, I'd be happy to send the list in to Midway just as an "FYI" kind of thing, let them know who we're cheering for the most. They're the creators, and can do as they please, but I'm certain they wouldn't scorn a well-made list of fan favorite characters :)

So far, Kabal is requested. Note made :)

Alright 2 that fast means I missed one. I'm going to pull somebody I wasn't really sure about from the get-go, and add Kabal. I'll see if anybody says anything about it ;) I'll modify the first post whenever I change anything, to avoid duplicating the list over and over again. So Kabal has been added :)

You have to have Lui Kang back!!!

I know he "died" in the beginning of Deadly Alliance, but hey, that was just for the story, and you can always, always change the story for a different outcome.

Plus, Lui Kangs resurrection wouldn't be that hard to swallow, considering this game is infamous for it's fatalities... so, it's not too hard to understand Lui Kang could actually come back.

There are others..
You should included Sheeva. She was one of my favorites in UMK3.. Another is Sektor and Stryker. I know Stryker isn't a fan favorite, but he's one of my favorites... I think they should just add EVERY kontestant from the past MK titles, except for MK Deadly Alliance. I didn't like the new characters much. Peace

Don't forget though, guys - I'm not trying to get a 'best list' arbitrarily. I'm not trying to decide who should be around, and who shouldn't - I'm just trying to compile a list of the most favorite characters - I'm trying to cover as many people's #1 favorites as possible.

So if your #1 pick isn't there, let me know who it is to be added. If they are, let us know that, too :)

Two words. ER MAC. He was completely bitchin', they turned a weird glitch that may and may not have happened in MK1 and turned it into known character, hell I'd like him more then Jax... that red baret costume in DA made him look like 60... so to sum this up

Knowing Boon and them, they'd probably take out the characters comfirmed, just to please us.. if we didn't add the comfirmed characters in this list.

I like the selection but i think i counted 28 characters in your list...i think it should about 20 at the most.

Its a bit though but i think i'd drop:

Sonya - give the special foces plot a break.

Kabal - Great in MK# but don't see him being that outstanding on the new game engine.

Rayden - I rather see Fujin as protector and Rain having electric powers.

Tsung- It's either him or Quan Chi...I rather Quan Chi.

Secktor - either him or Smoke...and its Obvious.

Bo Rai Cho - Kai and Fujin was where the best new characters of MK4 imo...give Kai Cho's drunken styles.

I can't decide on any others and may even change my mind on some i've dropped. But my point is about 20 characters is a more realistic number.

As I have said before, some characters just need to die. Lui Kang needs to stay dead and a few more characters need to walk the same path.

i agree with u about cage bc all his endings is about him winning some movies or wha so ever. i rather bring a new characters to replace him but that would miss up the story line.
