I guess MK being a popular franchise would make DC,an unpopular franchise, become more...popular.
Anyway,I'm gonna get this game no matter the reviews.

First of all, what you just said is a total lie and you know that.
First off, MK is not making DC more popular because it's "unpopular" get the facts straight before you post.
DC is not unpopular, if it was, they wouldn't be making any more comic books, they wouldn't be making any more cartoons, movies, blah, blah, blah. The only thing that DC has is that it lacts major gore that MK has. Yes, we all know that DC can be dark, bloody, and violent, but it is certainly not unpopular.
The reason why they decided to crossover with DC is because no other game has made a crossover with it yet, and it's certainly not a crossover with DC becuase it's unpopular. You really need to get your facts straight before you go on and post becuase it's starting to kind of tick me off that you think everything you say is right when majority of the time you've been posting are FALSE STATEMENTS.
I rest my case on this one.

I just don't like the idea of having MK mixed with DC. I don't care about story in fighting games, but this just gives me a bad impression... It feels wrong.
The game may be good, but I simply do not like the idea of the cross over.
The game play was unimpressive to me from what's been shown. While it is different, the same team is working on it and it's looking very similar in quality and mentality to the last few games. I'm still waiting to see something that brings my hopes up in that department.
New does not mean good and going by MK's track record you can expect it to be pretty bad or under developed.
Their efforts to make a decent fighter have me watching my back, expecting something bad to happen.
As of now I only have a mild interest in this game, just to see what it turns out like. I have no urge to make a purchase.

That's not even a joke, and you know that.
I made perfect sense telling Tiki to stop thinking DC is "Unpopular." If you think telling him all that was PMS... you have another thing coming to you.

Everybody knows about Batman and Superman, but I don't that many here would have been able to name 5 DC independent characters until this MKDC thing came along.

Actually, MK is real poplular and DC is unpopular, but however Marvel is very popular. Midway should had bought the copy right license for Marvel Characters. DC ain't even that popular

Referencing the fantasy world where Mortal Kombat is still widely "popular" while DC is not.

In fairness to Chrome, he's not American, so he might not actually know which comics sell the best here, or that DC cartoons like Justice League Unlimited and Teen Titans were phenomenally popular.
what ever the game is,
Iam still with the game,
no crossing over game
why not try it and see what happens and then comment on the game,
I can't say cross over because I don't know anything yet...
it might be the most successful game of mk, who knows
but still with weird story....we don't whats going to happen
we can't change what we are seeing,
just wait for the new game for mk9

Don't jump the gun just yet...afterall, we all know what happened with MVC2 right? lol fun game but broken to all hell like MKA...any game with lots of characters is destined to be broken...or glitchy at times, but I like the fact that MK8 will have 22 max which is nothing...so that right there will reduce chances of a bad game in that respect. Besides, Midway has made good games MK, MK2, MK3, UMK3, MK:DA, MK:SM and MKMSZ. They were all fun games and very good.
The gameplay is too early to be judged but looks better then MKD/MKA at least from the idea I got honestly.
If you have that "bad" idea in your head then you're technically telling yourself that despite whether this game sells bigtime or does well or not you have it bad already, just give it a chance man.
I'd say rent it first in your case, see if you like it or not
@ the people sayind DC isn't popular, that's incorrect. DC is just as popular if not more then Marvel is, besides where do you think Marvel was inspired from? DC...
On the spawn comments, well spawn is dead now overall...I'm sure he still has his fanbase but come on, he can't hold a lick to Superman, Spider-Man etc
But Spawn is pretty cool I guess, I'm still waiting for the second movie...lol
