I personally think that that extra game is going to be a waste of time. The team could be spending precious time with other aspects of the game instead of wasting time on a flat-crap-rpg that noone's really going to play. -Not to sound like a negative a-hole or anything, lmao.

i think konquest mode can best be summed up like this;
graphic whores: the mode is a waste of time because the graphics are not the same quality as arcade mode
people who appreciate the mk series: thumbs up for giving us an extra mode with all mk characters and many hidden secrets.

Those last pics had better be art you can unlock in the Krypt, because it wouldn't make sense in the storyline (Shujinko was in his 30s at the time, so I know this), even if it is 30 years before the MK games.
Kano must've been a child at this time, much less a warrior of Kahn's army.
Kintaro wasn't in Kahn's army yet.
Motaro and Sheeva had no connections to Shao Kahn's army yet.
Kintaro and Motaro didn't serve under Kahn together.
Everyone else has an excuse to be in there, but not them. I hope this is fan art you can unlock in the Krypt and not for reals, cause it REALLY messes up the storyline.

Sorry, but Reiko worked for Shinnok during his invasion of Edenia. No one ever said that he worked for Kahn.
OK, Kano being there is wrong indeed, same deal with Smoke. Reiko's appearance is questionable.
However, Sheeva was Queen Sindel's protector at the time when she took her own life, it can be presumed that she joined up with Kahn immediately thereafter, and has been with him for ages.
And I was always under the impression that Kintaro was always part of Kahn's forces. He was a general in Outworld.

Oh I forgot Reiko was there. Yeah, WTF is he doing with Khan! He should be rotting in the Netherealm with Shinnok.

Actually he is in his 60's in the prison.

Well, this is a "fixed" history.
Reiko: We don't know anything before MK4, when Shinnok invaded Edenia. We knew that there was a relation between Shao Kahn and Reiko, and this confirms it, and causes that his ending is real without being Shao Kahn.
Kano: Kano works for Shao Kahn during the invasion in MK3.
Smoke: Errrr... WTF?!? It wouldn't have to be Noob that was there?
Sheeva: Is the protector of Sindel... and, in this pic, Sheeva not yet this with her, for that reason still appears in the pic.
Kintaro: He's the general of Shao Kahn, and Motaro the general of the extermination forces. He really don't die in MK2 at hands of Raiden, and for that reason this in the pic.

This has already been mentioned, but Smoke is in the far background. That seems strange to me. Maybe these are just loading screens after all..
