Well so much for Kitana and Mileena being the iconic equivalence of Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

The waste of spaces Jax and Kano don't even compare anymore to how popular she has become.

Baraka compares, but I don't think his fanbase is bigger than hers still.

For sure she'll appear in the story mode. A pathetic cameo is what she'll get, most likely, as a filler NPC, which is disgracefully disproportionate to the fame she's had since Deception.

I'm thinking this has more to do with the fact that they wanted only 2 females from each side than with her being less iconic than Kano, Jax, and Baraka because the DC side didn't get any new females either.

*SIGHS* Oh well. Fuck this game. It'll suck. The DC factor already makes it a lame kiddy joke anyway.

I 100% agree with you and if it wasnt for catwoman I wouldnt be getting this game, I was so pumped up to see mileena and catwoman go head to head cause she is by far her equal and now I get to see sonya's bitch Jax and cannanball chump kano? wtf were they thinking....Im not a huge fan of Baraka cause I thought he was way overpowered in MKA but I think he deserves to be in, but I will light a candle cause my bitch mileenna will not be in unless she is dowloadable or unlockable, oh and WTF is with Shao Khan? why cant this idiot die already geeez........

What ever happened to when they said that they was going to not reveal the whole roster so fast. I mean I thought they would reveal everyone by about October.

Once again I think everybody needs to take a deep breath here. I don't think I've ever seen so many people get worked up about a character roster in all of the game releases I've been here for. If the game has downloadable content I'm sure Mileena will be included eventually. She's popular enough to warrant an inclusion. Same goes for Kung Lao, Reptile, and Johnny Cage.

I feel I need to add that some of the posts in this thread are beyond childish. It reminds me of the saying "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."

Actually im a little annoyed Mileena didn't get in.
She would of been great against Catwoman. :)
I'd rather her then Kano any day, but Kano is an original I guess...
But Baraka sounds good, never thought he'd be in though.
I would of certainly picked Reptile who is was really hoping for
then Baraka, one bigger fan base, and well he's one of my favs tongue
Ahh well, im really hoping for hidden, and secret unlockable characters.
As someone just mentioned, I thought they wouldnt of shown or well confirmed all the characters yet. Midway said they didnt want to confirm everything by now. So hmmm lets hope theres a few more characters that we dont know about..but i kinda doubt it :(

MK's success will hinge not on the shoulders of MK8, but the critical game that is now being labeled as MK9.

It's okay to complain about this game. For the first time ever, I think Ed Boon has thrown major shit at us. And don't expect me to stand there and not wipe that stuff off my face.

sigh i guess i will await mk9 now, maybe it will be like mkd and have her but not that bitch kitana in it, im really disliking her now, why her and not mileena? wow I have said it already today but her fan base surpasses kit kats 3-1 but the only reason she made it in is because she is kangs bitch plain n simple.

I agree. I know the MK team had a limited roster, but they should have known that "iconic" doesn't necessarily mean popular. The roster is really showing the gender imbalance right about now.

Not really...Considering Catwoman skirts on both sides of the law while Mileena has always been evil. I do agree that Mileena should be in the game, but I would pick Kitana over her any day.

Well, the official of success has been kicked down the road. It's like kicking a can down the road a little bit. Discount MK8, or play it for fun if you must. MK9 is where the real answer is.
