And I was just about ready to fix it up. sad
Anyway, about Mileena... I'm really stumped for how I feel about her. I want her out of the series, but there's no way she can have any kind of finality other than being brutally slaughtered by Kitana/Sindel/Jade/Bo' Rai Cho (she duped him into thinking she was the princess). She should just have her torment end once and for all and be put out of her misery... Although a nice twist that I'd like to see is that she goes after Shang Tsung and/or Shao Kahn, for creating her in the first place when she didn't need to exist. That'd create one heck of a complexity for her. grin

First of all sorry about posting a new profile didn't know the rules
You excluded one person from her enemy list Baraka, i think an interesting ending would be a fight between the two or even a colaboration against Shao Khan, that would be a turn over, it wouldn't be that predictable.

Look either way Milenna or Baraka is going to die. The way it should end is Baraka should kill Milenna and eat her. However this doesn't mean Millenna should be gone for could. I mean all us horny 14 year olds need these hot ninjas...

Then again they could just bring another one in

I'll explain to you how this works. One character is announced. Everyone discusses that character until Jerrod or Proudnintendofan starts a new one. Got it?

A Bulleted Summary of what I think Mileena's Storyline should be like for MKA: (Deals with a lot of other characters, so bear with me)

* Mileena should still be posing as Kitana, ruling Edenia.
* Rain, having wandered for years in shame due to his failure to kill Shao Khan, returns to serve Mileena, believing she is actually Kitana.
* Tanya, wanting to get closer to the Edenian throne and fearing that Onaga is destined to fail, also joins Mileena, but is fully aware that she is not truly Kitana. She is secretly trying to takeover for herself.
* Baraka is plotting with Tanya to take out Mileena.
* In order to get rid of Baraka, Mileena allies herself with a young, rebellious Tarkatan who wants to replace Baraka as leader of the clan. She convinces him to kill Baraka in exchange for allowing the two to rule Edenia together. (To make him look different from Baraka, it should be said that he's only half-Tarkatan and is also angry for being treated as "second class")
* Kitana, Jade, and Sindel are striving to make their way back to Edenia to take back the throne.
* Shao Khan and Goro force Mileena to have the Edenian forces fight alongside the Shokan against Onaga so that Shao Khan can reclaim his title as Ruler of Outworld.
* Upon meeting the real Kitana, Rain turns on Mileena.
* Mileena either finds out Tanya is a traitor and kills her, or Tanya leads the Edenians who decided to pledge loyalty to Mileena (Whether they know or don’t know she’s a phony) into battle against Jade, Bo' Rai Cho, and the Edenians still loyal to Kitana; she is then killed in the ensuing battle.
* Kitana, Sindel, and Rain confront Mileena. Kitana and Mileena fight. Mileena is winning at first, but Kitana eventually gets the upper hand.
* Shao Khan and Goro appear and interrupt the fight. Goro grabs Sindel and holds her hostage, forcing Kitana to stand down.
* Shao Khan is angered to see Mileena losing. Claiming he no longer needs her assistance anyway, he attempts to kill her by hurling his Wrath Hammer at her.
* Kitana saves Mileena by pushing her out of the way, while Rain runs in to battle Shao Khan.
* Seeing Shao Khan try to execute Mileena while Kitana saved her reminds Goro of how Shao Khan is a power hungry tyrant that can't be trusted; how Shao Khan betrayed him in the past; and how Kitana was once his true friend and ally. Goro then releases Sindel and helps to battle Shao Khan.
* Rain is either killed or knocked unconscious. As Shao Khan advances on Kitana, Goro tries to protect her; while he manages to weaken Shao Khan, he is eventually killed.
* Kitana, enraged not only by the death of Goro (And possibly Rain), but by all the horrible things Shao Khan has done to her life and to the lives of others, releases all her fury and with Sindel's help, destroys Shao Khan.
* During the fighting Mileena, simply stood back and watched. Once it was all over, she simply disappeared without anyone noticing. The others choose not to pursue her and instead work on rebuilding Edenia.

What Should Happen to Mileena After MKA:

* Mileena should return in MK8.
* She should no longer bear such strong hatred for Kitana. Mileena should be trying to find her own identity instead.
* Mileena shouldn't turn good, but not quite as brutal, evil, and vicious as she is now. Make her a little more of a "neutral bad girl". She shouldn't side with major villains or the good guys (Instead, fight for whatever benefits her).
* One of Mileena's goals should be to fix her face.
* Possible new allies: her new Tarkatan ally (Let's call him "Taki", for lack of an actual name), Reiko (I'll get to that when it's time to talk about Reiko), Havik (Maybe he knows a way to fix her face), Sareena (No idea why... I just think it'd be cool)
* Possible new rivals: Jade (Not an intense, murderous rivalry as with most others. The two just shouldn't like each other much, but not be out to kill one another or constantly fighting. Maybe they can reluctantly team up at some point)

I like your idea. When i think about, i sort of feel sorry for Mileena. What if Kitana saw the cruel things Shao Kahn did to Mileena and how she was used.
It would be neat to see Kitana offer Mileena a second chance and she what Mileena does. She could feel indept to Kitana or want to KILL HER!
Well, it's time we start the next character, and... after consideration, I decided that Jax would be the next choice. So without further ado..

Jax’s storyline (debatably) begins in Special Forces. When the leader of the Black Dragon, Kano broke 4 fellow members of his clan out of Special Forces custody, these included Jarek, Tasia, No Face and Tremor. With help from Gemini, Jax brought all of them back into custody and then pursued Kano to Outworld. Kano was planning on using the Eye of Shitian to make everyone into his slaves, starting with Jax. Jax defeated Kano and used the Eye of Shitian to transport Kano and himself back to Earthrealm.*

After the tournament, Jax found Johnny Cage at the remains of Shang Tsung’s island, taking Cage into custody. Cage told Jax of all that had happened, but Jax refused to believe it. Sometime later, Jax received a distress signal from Sonya, it was coming from Outworld. Before it was cut off, Sonya told Jax that the Outworld warriors were planning on going after Johnny Cage and Liu Kang. With that, Jax headed towards the filming studio where Johnny Cage was at, only to find it under attack. Jax fought with Kintaro as his partner Baren was killed by Mileena.

When Raiden told the warriors of Shao Kahn’s invasion and how they must go to Outworld, Jax agreed to go upon learning of Beran’s death. Though it is unknown who Jax fought in the tournament, it’s safe to say that he did not win. Though he succeeded in freeing Sonya from her chains, as well as Kano.

As the Earth warriors fled back to Outworld, Kano escaped back through the portal before it closed, but both Jax and Sonya knew that it would only be matter of time before they crossed paths with him again.

Jax tried to warn his superiors of Outworld’s impending invasion, but lacking proof, he was ignored. He donned bionic implants onto his arms for the upcoming war. When Outworld’s invasion began, Jax fought as one of Earth’s “Chosen Warriors”. After Shao Kahn was defeated, Jax and Sonya started the Outworld Investigation Agency, where he led the first exposition into Outworld.

Later, when Sonya disappeared after trying to track down the last member of the Black Dragon, Jarek. Jax followed her, where he discovered of Shinnok’s invasion of Edenia, he joined with his fellow Earthrealm warriors once again and helped to stop the fallen Elder God.

Sometime later, he had found Cyrax malfunctioning in the desert, he and Sonya helped Cyrax restore his human soul. He then joined the Outworld Investigation Agency as a form of gratitude.

Years later, Jax received a message from Agent Kenshi about a new threat in Outworld, but before Jax could act, the traitor Hsu Hao had destroyed the portal to Outworld with a miniature nuclear weapon. Jax barely escaped with his life. After informing Sonya of its destruction, Jax was met by Raiden, who told him to go to Shang Tsung’s island. Once he arrived there, Jax along with his other Earthrealm allies learned of Liu Kang’s death and the formation of the Deadly Alliance.

Once they were in Outworld, Jax went in search of Hsu Hao, who had leapt through the portal before it was destroyed. Eventually, Jax caught up with Hsu Hao and ripped the cybernetic heart from his chest, effectively killing him.

During the final confrontation with the Deadly Alliance, Jax was killed in the assault, but he did not stay dead long for he and his other allies were revived by the Dragon King and made into his slaves. What happens to Jax next remains to be seen.

As for my thoughts on Jax, he's not really a character that I care for, he's had one of the weaker storylines, IMO and he really needs something new. He should ditch the arms, anything, something. That's all I have to say

It's time Jax bowed out gracefully and left the far more interesting hands of Sonya and Cyrax. Jax' story has never really been interesting. The only good point I can think of is that he saved Sonya. Other than that hes been useless. While his story did pick up a bit in MKDA and his animosity and rage against Hsu Hao was interesting I think its time for him to die. If he dies though I want it to affect Sonya harshly. I want her to be harder, tougher and darker next gen. Slightly crazy, she went a bit crazy around the time before MK4/after MK3 on her own personal vendetta and wiped out the entire Black Dragon save Jarek..but she did that in the end. If Jax dies I can't say I'll miss the crappy costumes, bionic arms and really, really useless story till MKDA.

C-ya Jax. Its been...ok.

Jax is one of my least favorite MK characters, and I think he has one of the most boring storylines. I think he was at his best back in MK2. Him donning those bionic arms was a step down. In MK4, there wasn't anything really special about him. I never played MK: SF, but I did watch some of those communication videos between him and Gemini, and it seems that's the first MK game in which he had the "Awww, yeah!" line. It seems they took his attitude from MK: Annihilation and used it for MKDA, especially those horrible one-liners and grotesque alternate costume of his.

I personally think there's no real potential for him, and he shouldn't return in the next-gen MK games. I'd like to see him at least lose the bionic arms and use his own strength and skills. It's quite sad that Jax got more character development in MK: Annihilation than any of the games he's been in. Also, according to the MK2 comic book by John Tobias, Jax is supposedly the world's strongest man yet he has to don bionic arms to take on the Outworld forces while Liu Kang is able to kick Shang Tsung's, Goro's, and Shao Kahn's asses??

Also, he needs to lose the whole attitude thing. It really destroys his character, making him into an obvious stereotype. I'm sure his story will involve interaction with the Black Dragon and maybe the Red Dragon as well. He should either die or retire.

Overall, I don't care for him much to be honest.
Oh, when I said "debatably" in the summary, I meant to say that I'm not sure if Special Forces is canon or not, some people say it is, while others say it isn't.

I'm taking that the first part of the bio was from the comics, right? Cause I never heard of Beran or his fight with Kintaro. But, on to the meat of things.

Jax, the first African American to grace MK. I think I remember this being a big deal, but also a good deal. Jax was totally kick ass in MK2, a great addition to one of the most solid line-ups in the games. MK3 made him even better with the arm implants. However, he began his decline in MK4, and MKDA didn't save him much either. Right now, I'm viewing him as one of the worst characters, a complete turn-around from his original debut.

Last we saw Jax, he and the other Earthrealm allies made an assault on Shang Tsung's palace. However even the might of the combined forces couldn't end Quan Chi and Shang Tsung's reign (very suprising considering there were five of the good guys and two of them, and there not-so-decent past with victories...) Jax fell in the end, however, it is unconfirmed who killed him as far as I know. Ressurected by Onaga (tell me, how did his their bodies survive the blast?), he is now a slave and enemy to the forces of good. Not for long though, as it seems he was reverted to his normal self with the help of Lui and Ermac. With this problem out of the way, he can finish hunting down his antagonists.

Cyrax and Kenshi are still missing in Outworld and need to be found. However, I think Sonya is more likely to go looking for them and take on the big guys, and Jax deal with the underlings of the Black and Red Dragons. It seems vital that Jax repair the inter-dimensional portals if they wish to succeed. Or maybe some portals will just open themselves...

Of course, the cause of all these problems is Hsu Hao, the only interesting point Jax has. I was liking the fued we saw between them at the end of DA. Did Jax ever really kill him though? I don't think so, his ending probably wasn't canon unless Hsu Hao got a ressurection deal. What I would like to see happen is Jax finally catch up with the mongolian deciever, rip out his cybernetic heart ala MKDA, and then get killed by Mavado. This would give Sonya more of a reason to go after the Red Dragon in the future. I don't want Mavado to die at the hands of Sonya however, Kabal is a better candidate.

Speaking of Kabal, how does Jax feel about him? He did leave the Black Dragon, but then in a way unexpected turn went back to them. It is very much possible that they fought together in MK3 as Kabal was a chosen one. If he finds out that a former ally is now head of their biggest enemy, what will he do?

Before his emminent slaughter, I think Jax could take out a few of the lower members of the BD, namely Kira and Kobra. Sonya can handle Kano and Jarek, and now it seems, Sektor, while Jax gets these two. They'll be easy prey for him.

And what is up with Sektor? There was a hint of a connection between himand the OIA in MKG, but nothing more came of that. But news sees that Sonya and Sektor are going to battle it out in Konquest Mode of MKA. Jax could possibly get involved with this, but him don't see him. It's more of a job for Sonya and Cyrax.

Of course Jax probably won't be able to touch his killers, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, or his ressurector, Onaga. Many other candidates, and better ones at that. Jax ain't important enough for them anyways.

Jax was once one of the great characters in MK. Now-a-days, he's just nothin'. Sorry Jax, you've had an...okay...run, but it definitely needs to be ended. I can most likely see him get the deathblow from either Kano or Mavado, just to piss Sonya off more.

Legacy, that's an interesting point that you brought up, about Jax and Kabal. That sort of thing never really crossed my mind.

Anyway, Jax should ditch the arms, that would be a step in the right direction. Since I feel like Sonya should retire, I guess Jax could take over her spot as leader of the OIA, or that position could go to Cyrax or even Kenshi if Jax gets killed here. I don't care much for his gameplay or his costumes, but I feel like he still has something left to offer in MKA and possibly for one more game.

I originally posted this in another thread, but wanted to post it in here so it isn't buried, also this shouldn't recieve any dps.

Jax:
- Unlike many other characters, I think his look/voice is affecting his character. First off, if his glasses were removed, he would look more serious like he used to. The sternness in his eyes made it believable that someone was about to get beaten severely by Jax. He’s supposed to be a high ranked military officer, but instead he’s sounding like a gangster. If his voice was less laid back and jokingly, he would be taken serious which I think his character should aims towards, there are more than enough joke characters running around.

Storyline wise:
- I liked the preview that portrayed him becoming very angry in his MKunchained ending. He’s now like a loose cannon and very unstable, the OIA is probably going to have to become more vary of his actions. I think it opens up a lot more opportunities with him if he continues to keep his anger, can his close allies still trust him? He’ll become like a wildcard that could snap at any minute. I’d like it if they explained where all of this anger is spawning from. I think it would be very interesting if he like some war vets were suffering from post war traumatic experiences. He can’t escape his ingrained combat training no matter what he does. And his mentality can’t experience normal peaceful thought again.

Jax is simply "the black guy" in Mortal Kombat, this became evident to me when Darrius had to replace him in Deception. Quite frankly he isn't all that interesting, he should leave MK doing something noble, like dying the final battle to save Sonya or something like that..

Hahaha, personally, I think Jax is a hell of alot more useful than Darrius. Jax actually has an understandable storyline that associates with another character, the the whole "resistance" storyline with Darrius and Dariou are just dumb and badly composed. Plus, can someone please tell me why they would name a character Darrius if they had another one called Dariou??? Thats just reeks of confusion. Plus, niether one of them have any really original special moves and fatalities, and frankly, if Midway lied to us when they said they'd put every character in MKA and instead left out those two, I really wouldn't care at all. Your thoughts?confused

Jax, not a well built character, not an interesting character, not an original character, not a worthwhile character overall. He lacks anything that might impress me he has no symbolism, no good story, no character, no originality and no future. He is a very cliché character gone worse! I don't like any aspect of the Outworld Investigation Agency - Black Dragon - Red Dragon conflict with very few exceptions(Kenshi whose place is definitely not with the OIA and Cyrax whom should also break away) I dislike all the characters involved. All of them seem very stereotypical (and very overused and cheap ones too, kabal I would say could be considered a bit of an exception here) and I would be quite happy if all of them were to disappear. The best way to do this is in my opinion through a major battle between all three factions, an open confrontation between all of them. Jax should play a big part here he should kill plenty of dragons(Hsu Hao obviously, Mavado is also a good target, Kira or Kobra, well he can kill anyone he wants except Kano whom will obviously be Sonya's target and Kabal) and after he kills all these members kabal just thrust his hook swords into Jax's very unoriginal and totally absurd and unnecessary bionic arms he rips them both off and he impales Jax's head with his right weapon, I want Jax to die a gruesome death, he earned it!

Other possible endings are him going berserk on his own allies, kind of improbable but I’d love to see this too, cyrax should kill him if this happens, and a fight with Shang Tsung or Quan Chi probably won't happen either he is too undeserving.

My story for Jax in Mortal Kombat Armageddon (Slight warning: It is based upon his MKU ending; I'm not sure if we've seen his MKU bio yet though):

* Havik helped Kabal restore the Black Dragons to create more chaos. With Mavado and Hsu Hao back in action, this means there will be a conflict between the two groups. However, to create even more chaos, Havik is seeking to "corrupt" Jax by fueling him with rage, making him a more aggressive foe, and then putting him into the conflict between the two Dragon clans.

* Sometime after Havik had finished assisting Kabal with restoring the Black Dragon, Havik encounters Jax and uses his powers to free him from Onaga. Afterwards, he tells him that Onaga, with the help of the Black and Red Dragons, killed Sonya and the rest of his comrades. Havik tries to pressure Jax into feeling weak for allowing his friends to die. This pushes Jax to become vicious and vengeful.

* Jax aggressively fights against Onaga's army, and begins to hunt down the remaining members of the two "Dragon" organizations. Jarek, alone and struggling to find the rest of the Black Dragons, is his first victim. Next, Jax will interrupt an all-out brawl between the Black Dragons (Kabal, Kira, and Kobra) and the Red Dragons (Mavado and Hsu Hao). Powered by his rage, Jax manages to slaughter them all, though during his showdown with Hsu Hao, his metal arms are ripped off (like in the movie).

* Afterwards, Jax falls into depression and begins to wander. It isn’t until he comes across Sheeva (Who helped Sonya track down and kill Kano) does he learn that Sonya is still alive and where she is currently located.

* Upon learning that Jax knows Sonya is still alive and is trying to find her, Havik attempts to secretly kill Sonya himself in order to insight more rage and chaos in Jax. However, Jax finds Sonya in time and rescues her before Havik can carry out his attack. Before Jax can eliminate the cleric of chaos, Havik disappears. Rather than continue to both Jax, Havik goes off to find more situations where he can insight chaos.

* Jax is overjoyed to find Sonya alive. Sonya is able convince Jax to relinquish his guilt and anger and helps him realize his own strength. Through Sonya's help, Jax finally feels relieved.

(After the final battle, Jax and Sonya should both retire.)

His name is Dairou, not Dariou. Neither of them have any real original special moves and fatalities? I don't know about that.

Imo, Darrius and Dairou are better than Jax. At least they have something more going for them than Jax does.

To shemarx: Interesting story concept..
