You want an oddball character? Alright, Hotaru... he'd make a great oddball character.

There's a lot about this character that I like and he should be given a better chance in MK. He had great moves and combos and the story behind him was really cool, seeing how he was basically to me, the second most evil villain in Deception, seeing how he had so many people after him such as Kenshi, Sub-Zero, Darrius, Dariou... well, four, but that's still a lot compared to the others in the game.

I would say Nightwolf or Havik

Fujin, Kai, Reiko, Jarek, Shinok,. They only been in 2 games.

Freakin Motaro with two legs

Mavado

seriously this character has had it rough during this past years. hated on right away, even by myself for being a ripoff of Kabal for having the hookswords. and maybe some ppl thought the whole Red Dragon thing was dumb, but i kinda liked it and saw it had great story line potential to involve and evolve characters like Kano.

anyways at the time when MKDA was the new shit on the block... Mavado was probably one of the most hated MK characters at the time.

the hate he has received isnt the only thing... you have any idea how LONG it took till Mavado finally was realized to be a pretty GOOD character in MKDA? seriously not till after MKD was already out. for so long he was considered one of the worst characters gameplay wise in that game being low tier... i cant recall for sure if it was now he is actually considered top tier or close to top tier at least, but yeah.... how good Reptile really is in that game wasnt realized till a late time either.... but anyways that blows my mind yet felt kinda kool cuz except at first after i got to using him more ive known how badass Mavado is.

anyways really he is like one of my favs in that game. his look is sleek and smooth and even "gangsta" lol in a way lol... his story i was digging... and he was a bad ass fighter.

anyways back to how rough Mavado has had it.... one last thing really... basically.... MKA.... as it did to pretty much the whole MK story and specific characters really screwed them over as well.... Mavado i felt really got screwed over story wise in MKA with damn Daegon..... one thing that just made Mavado bad ass to me is him being the Red Dragon leader and all. He the man in charge and he the type of guy that is gonna stir up a pot of trouble... then comes a long MKA with Daegon and all of a sudden Daegon is the real leader of the Red Dragon and Mavado basically just another lacky.....



why Mavado???? BECAUSE HE IS TRULY AN AWESOME CHARACTER THAT HAS NOT HAD THE FAIR CHANCE HE NEEDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dunno what they would really be able to do for him story wise or if the story for any MK chars in this game is gonna really be that good or not, but at least putting him in the game, making him bad ass, and NOT having the hook swords at all would give this character the chance he needs i believe.
