By ways of providing a tool to the Mortal Kombat Online Kommunity, this thread will serve as an official poll to discover (1) how many players will utilize the online features of MK: Deception, and (2) which online format (X-Box or PS2) those players will use. This should be particularly useful to those who are deciding which online service to purchase.

Please do not use this thread to discuss which online format is "better" or which console is superior.

Question #1: Do you intend to utilize the Online features of Mortal Kombat: Deception?
Question #2: Do you currently use X-Box Live?
Question #3: Do you currently use PS2 Online?
Question #4: If you do not already own it, will you purchase X-Box Live in order to play MK:De Online?
Question #5: If you do not already own it, will you purchase PS2 Online in order to play MK:De Online?
Question #6: If you intend to play MK:De Online, will you use dial-up or broadband?
Question #7: If you own or will own both online services, will you use X-Box Live for MK:De?
Question #8: If you own or will own both online services, will you use PS2 Online for MK:De?

Please do not answer the questions with "I Don't Know". If you are not sure of your answer, please don't reply to the question. I will graph the answers out and post the results for all to see.

Thanks!

Yeah, i'm going to be playing Mortal Kombat Deception online. I've got broadband so I would hook it up to Playstation 2 Online. I don't have the stater kit or the adaptor but I have untill the fall to get it.

Speaking of which, since this is going to be online who is going to start a group online?

Question #4: If you do not already own it, will you purchase X-Box Live in order to play MK:De Online?

Still not sure what system, PS2 or XBOX, to get it for. Probably will depend on the price of the service combined with other XBOX Live games I'd play. Currently, Ninja Gaiden is the only XBOX game I own that supports Live at all.

Question #5: If you do not already own it, will you purchase PS2 Online in order to play MK:De Online?

Still not sure what system, PS2 or XBOX, to get it for. Probably will depend on the price of the service and the average size of the PS2 player community.

I have no idea what Mobster4Christ is saying, So in other words... I don't even understand how to utilize the on-line features.

My last girlfriend was a hacker and she kept trying to teach me all kinds of things... But my eyes glazed over while she was talking!
