Since the beginning of time, there's a hell of alot more to explore than any of the others. Protector of a Realm, vs Creator of Realms.

Anyway....Sheeva guy, you missed some rivalries. Moloch&Drahmin are rivals of Quan Chi, and Kenshi is a rival of Shang Tsung. And I agree with Pred about Raiden and Shinnok.

Johnny Cage Vs Goro is a rivalry influenced strictly by the movie Mortal Kombat and nothing more; it's absolutely baseless and does not deserve a mention on that list as it does not even further the story of either character. Also, Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot never interact in any of the games, aside from Noob's non-canon ending in MK:D, so that should not be on that list either.
With thta in mind, you forgot to mention the rivalry between Sub-Zero and Frost, inspired by wanting to control the Lin Kuei, the rivalry of Sektor and Sub-Zero for holding the Dragon Amulet, and Sektor and Sonya, for having rival factions with different values (take-over world versus defend it) and for the possibility of Sonya losing one of her allies thanks to Sektor.

Moloch and Drahmin were sent to kill Quan Chi by the orders of Shang Tsung and they are no longer under his command. And Johnny Cage vs Goro and Shao Kahn vs Sindel are both menu screens and box art for Mortal Kombat Armageddon, as well as Raiden vs Shinnok (only for Wii). Also Ermac and Ashrah had a brief feud in Deception that doesn't make them rivals. However, in Nitara's bio for Armageddon it clearly lets everyone know that Nitara and Ashrah are rivals.

So you guys need to check your info and become up to date with the rest of Mortal Kombat fans.

Okay; you are right about Ashrah and Ermac, as chaosorder obviously doesn't know the story there to date, so that's not an issue.
Now I want you to show me where else a rivalry between Johnny Cage and Goro is shown or elaborated on anywhere in Mortal Kombat that is in the games or the official comics (there are only three official comics that were written by John Tobias by the way, so if you reference anything from Malibu, you're automatically wrong). Show us all in fact, as a box of non-canon art is just a box and nothing more.
In fact, if you're going to go by box-art as your source for them being rivals, you may as well go based on the MKA introduction, which features Sub-Zero and Scorpion going at it, despite their rivalry being over for the last three games. Explain that one.
Also, in case your forgot, Quan Chi was working with Drahmin and Moloch before he escaped the Netherrealm and almost left them stranded in there, and he pissed them off about it, so when Shang Tsung brought up killing Quan Chi, they were eager to do it because he fucked with them personally. They weren't going to do it just because they were following orders, but because they were pissed he tried to screw them out of escaping the Netherrealm.
I mean, seriously, you're going based on fucking box art for rivalries? Sektor and Cyrax have little-to-nothing to do with each other, and haven't since MK Gold; Sub-Zero is a more logical rival, in that Sektor is still trying to kill him, and he and Sub-Zero both fought for leadership over the Lin Kuei.
You also didn't mention Onaga with Shao Kahn; that rivalry practically created the Mortal Kombat tournament in itself, and as a huge fan of MK, you should know that one.
The rivalry between Kira and Kobra isn't even there, as they are both partners until they betray each other in their endings, and only their endings, none of which have been canon to date.
You also got a rivalry on your list that is flat-out wrong - Dairou was HIRED BY Darrius and they are not rivals! Dairou has no idea that Darrius had his family killed with an assassin, and because he is no longer a guard with Seido, he became a mercenary and was placed under Darrius' employment; a more accurate rivalry with Dairou would be with Hotaru, who arrested Dairou for killing the man responsible for murdering his family.
Check your facts out before telling us to get to know ours.

ok. so what if all my stats weren't correct. atleast i can say that i dont spend all my time researching Mortal Kombat. and all there is to know about it. honestly some of you should get a life. gets sum pussy. and get off of mortal kombats nuts. i wont deny that im a big mk fan. but im not a freak.

i think ermac and kenshi should be rivals because of the telekinesis.

personally I think Scorpion Vs. Qaun Chi is the best rival because they had a real god time in the neatherealm.

Interesting concept but it wouldn't be that much of a rivalry, Ermac would own Kenshi since he taught Kenshi more tricks and increased Kenshis powers by training him in return for Kenshi freeing Ermac from Kahn's control.

Has anyone even mentioned Shujinko and Onaga? That conflict is what made s the old man even playable.
Also, the grudge between Sub-Zero and Scorpion was settled, and now Scorpion spends his time hunting down Quan Chi for killing his clan.
