I also work for a Publishing company, but not an important one. I simply make sure the magazines are delivered to the stores. I know how the Publishing press works, and I'm only there to pick them up and drop them off. Although on the inside they just put them through and are looked at by workers to see that no mistakes are made. If they are, they need to be re-done and put back through, to complete and send out.

That said, I'm saying he's right, because of a Source I have, is as good as Konqrr's or anyone else's. I was told this exact roster, even the Noob Smoke tag team deal. I ALSO myself contacted BRADY GAMES, because no one else would, and got the answer that SOME secrets would not appear in the guide. This is perhaps why Jax is not apparent in this guy's line up.

I never said to Believe him fully. I said that the line up is right. It's right on the dot, and is listed right down to a T.

Ok here's why this whole matter is full of shit.He started the thread...

It certainly reads a lot more truthfully now, judging by the 2nd post.

Even if it is true, it does not mean the likes of Sektor are not in the game. All it does mean is the likes of Sektor are not in the strategy guide.

Strategy guides are notorious for leaving out the really juicy secrets. I have read opinions where the Sektor in the cells looks just like Cyrax except the red. I am not sure of that myself but Sektor definately looks different, just as Jade looks different, compared to the others in the cells being old versions of their former cells. I would say he is in and maybe a couple more, on top of those 6 secret characters revealed by this guy. With all the work gone into the game it wouldn't be too hard to whack Cyrax in as a pallette swap of Sektor, or vice-versa. Again, a possible deception in a game said to be full of them.

hey I work for the MKAT and I get the inside scoop on Mortal Kombat: Deception. I have been sworn to secrecy but f that. The company was just discussing whether or not to put in all mortal kombat and the final vote was to include them all with two fatalities for every character. All fighters have been redone to fit into the new game. I hope this clears up some issues that have been going around. because I'm risking my job and ass for you.

No Prima Guide. There is a BradyGames publishing Guide which is in Print currently. He's made a mistake in writing "Prima" instead of "Brady". His Line Up Is correct, though, guys.

That's a pretty big mistake to make. Especially for someone "in the know" about MK. Anyway, where's the proof his line up is correct? I mean, I know the initial 24 are correct, but what about the Super 6? If he can't prove it, can you?

The only way he can prove it is by saying he contacted Brady and they said some secrets aren't in the book and that he knows the lineup is right.

You're a real smartass. I did actually contact Brady though, and the Line up Looks correct. Although It's missing Jax (Brady said some of the char/secrets won't be appearing, due to a request from Midway/Boon.) I'm the only one who contacted them and got an answer. That's that.

No need for name calling. I believe you about contacting Brady and they said some characters would be left out of the guide. Then why would six of the super unlockables be in the guide and they leave out Jax? That just doesn't make sense.

i only believe that quan chi and shang sung are truly in to, cause we saw them in the intro and we know that quani chi's stage is confirmed.

the was right about the unlockables, we all know that.

i find it strange about what piece of info he decided to read, i would of look to see who the midboss is, then the secret character, and finally some of the fatality.

i hope this guy got a beta copy of the guide or screws up. if all the new charatcer are copies, maybe their fatality will be revamped with the new graphics

Jax ain't listed simply because Midway wants you to PLAY the game. Not read through the guide. He already said why. Midway wanted them to leave some stuff out. It's obvious the reason is Midway wants you to have to WORK at unlocking everything. Reading the guide ain't exactly working to get it.

i only use a guide if a have beaten the game or to see what i missed
