Ur right. Jax is in the game. In one of the trailers u could clearly see Shujinko getting ready to fight Jax is Konquest mode and from what I understand u can only fight playable characters.
But this guy who says he's read the stragety guide makes no mention of Jax.

Hey I'm just got on to this board. I just wanted to say that I think this guy is a fake because if any of you have watched the movie with the main producing guy of the game he said what sounded to me that he will include as many characters he can to satisfy everybody. I also saw in a movie stryker fighting and stryker was not on that fake's list. Also the main guy of mortal kombat said that he made every character in the game have two fatalities. If he is a man of his word then this game will rock!

Because Prima said that some of the characters will not appear in the God damn Guide. All of you are so Damn thick headed. I contacted Brady a while back, and they said this. Noob Smoke is the God Damn Sub Boss, Take it or leave it. For Christ's Sake..

Quan Chi is one of my favorite characters and if this is true ( it sounds pretty true) i am very displeased in his fatality come on Midway Quan Chi needs a better fatality than that stupid thing it doesnt even look good it looks cartoony theres not even any blood in it

I don't think this is true, but I do think ports from DA will likely be the hyped up "super unlockables".


I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed by this super unlockable deal. If you look back you can pretty easily predict we're NOT going to get fully developed hidden characters. It just NEVER happens. Hidden characters are what they do last and they never have time to flesh them out. They will almost certainly be either ports or thrown together. In fact these sound better than most, at least they have one fatal and a full set of moves.


I don't buy for a second the guide will not feature the entire roster. Even if it doesnt we'll find them all out soon anyway. Boon is crazy if he thinks it's going to take a bunch of time to find the hidden stuff. This game will be blown open and dead within weeks.

...if the 6 hidden character stuff is true, im not even gonna bother unlocking them... man, they wouldnt be dumb enough to make the super secret characters exactly the same as the MKDA ones would they? its just an import basically, one fatality, all the same from MKDA... man, he better be lying, or im not even gonna buy MKD...

If this is true and there just recycling mkda fighters in mkd.Its the most retarded idea ever part of me thinks it might be true. Boon said himself 90 perecent of the focus was on minigames so they just threw in mkda fighters out of laziness that really pisses me off.

I like the roster of super-unlockables, and I'm not too fussed that they are DA ports- although another look for the resurrected Kitana (deal with it people ) would be good. This does make possible nonsense out of some things that have been said before, namely-

-sektor's appearance. "sources" STILL say he's in...maybe this bloke did get the two mixed up? After all, in the vid where Sektor is in the prison, you can clearly see he's a red MKDA Cyrax.

-an evolved Reptile. One of the MK team said we'd see Rep in a more evolved look in Deception- although many took this as proof that Rep was the DK (hope he ISN'T). So...what happened there then?

A final thought- it woud be nice to have a beefed up Shang Tsung in the game. In MKDA he looked...well, awful...and was pretty weak.

The list sounds good though, and has the ring of truth about it. We'll see before long!

i think reptile isnt the dragon king. maybe the DK just absorb reptile's energy so he can be revive faster.

You know what I miss? Secret codes. Kombat Kodes, the Ultimate Kombat code.. true video-game style ways of unlocking a character.. not this wal-mart of secrets aka the krypt.

These "super secret" characters are just for fun!! Why can't anyone just have fun anymore? We are spoiled beyond belief with this game, and there are still people bitching about it all. We don't have any proof that any of this is true. If you believe this guy or not, there is still no proof to back his claim. When we get a picture and some serious confirmation, then everyone go ahead and complain all you want. I've always been thankful for everything I get with MK games, and to it bewilders me to find the logic in complaining about someone having a repeat fatality. So what? We've seen countless amounts of repeated fatalities before. "Well they might have the same costumes!" Great!! Fantastic!! I loved the DA's look, and no one bitched about Kenshi having his DA costume.

Simple solution...if you don't like the characters you have the right to not unlock them, play as them, look at them, accept them, and whatever else you want to do. But everyone just take a chill pill, and let's just wait until we get some proof.

I mean come on, at least give em different fatalities. I'm very dissapointed. I wanted to see all these characters (though I would have chosen Rain over Sareena)but I wanted them updated and with new moves and fnishers. I think it's just rediculous that the super secret characters would end up being characters that haven't changed since we last used them. THat just means we'll have more fun unlocking the initial 12 hidden ones.
