This list sounds pretty plausible. And Boon specifically said several months ago that several MK:DA characters would be available as secret characters, directly ported into MK:D. He also said that they would have no endings and would not be part of the official MK:D storyline. Sareena, if true, is a nice surprise, recycled fatality notwithstanding.
It's unbelievable how people here go ballistic about the lack of development put into the secret characters. They're bonuses, that's all. There are TWENTY-FOUR regular characters in this game, one of which is two-in-one. Plenty of work went into those two dozen characters, so I certainly wouldn't call Midway lazy. I would think that if you put that much work into a character, you wouldn't want to hide your masterpiece away as a secret. You'd want to proudly showcase your work as a regular character. It would be kind of ridiculous if several of the best, most highly-developed characters in the game weren't even on the select screen. Think about it.

I think the guy could be right. I'll be glad if he is cause that means Reptile is in this game, but I think when he said Cyrax he meant Sektor.

Also with Sonya having that bio, it makes me think that she would be on the list also.

The only thing that is bad about this, is the dreaded neck pull fatality. That fatality is so awful.

He also forgot the Shokan...isn't there supposed to be a Shokan??

Im not sure if im pleased or not that these character are gonna be in. I like all of the characters except Cyrax, but I didnt think theyd add them straight from DA. I thought theyd give them another fatality at least. That sucks. If theyre gonna do that, then why not just add all the characters form Deadly Alliance.

Tho I am glad to see Kitana, Shang tsung and Sareena coming back. (If they are lol.)

I can't believe people are still clinging to the playable Shokan. We had one of those. It was Sheeva. Remember how popular she was?

If this turns out to be true, I suspect we shall be seeing a lot of Deathtrap match endings from Quan Chi players.

wow, bittersweet if it's true .. I can handle them looking the same, with the same moves, but not to give them another fatality, or at least one that hasn't been used by them through thier entire MK history (kitana's kiss of death) just plain sucks.

1o Cyrax wont be there.

2o Sonya and Kung Lao have high chances.

No!! Reptile With that Crab fighting style is pathetic, those arm moviments ruined with him in MKDA and i think Boon will not put characters from MKDA with the same fighting styles and one fatality, that's not logical and why put then as SUPER UNLOCKABLEs it is easier to play MKDA, he must listen more to fans than his helpers >/

I think the choices of characters are great, minus 7 people: Sonya, Motoro, Fujin, Kung Lao, Nitara, Shao Kahn, and a new shokan!!!

I was really hoping for new moves/fatalities with Kitana, but I guess that dream ended!!! The ported version of these characters from another game shows tooooo much laziness; without endings, 1 fatalities/hara-kari, and new moves is just a waist; we might as well play MKDA to play as them as we normally would; by the way where's Jax in that list off of page 1, and why was Fujin rumored to be in it again?, and why isn't the guardian of the DK (Blaze) in it? This is dissapointing as HELL!

Damn, Do we believe it or not? It sounds like something the MK staff would do. I think it is lame. I don't think I will play them but, As for now I will consider it a rumor. Just like the thousands of MKDA stage fatality rumors. Please let this just be one of them. The guide will be out in 27 days and we can find out then if it was a lie. DSB

I don't know how anyone can believe one noob on GameFaqs who claims to have seen the strategy guide because he works at the printing company? C'mon, that's the dead giveaway he's a liar right there. Not to mention he didn't get to look at the guide long, but he managed to read and memorize the entire list, how to unlock them, and what their fatalities are. Plus, why no mention of the sub-boss that is still a mystery? Has Noob-Smoke been officially confirmed as the sub boss? Why no mention of any fatalities we haven't seen yet? It's bullshit.

I will agree with all the whinners in saying Quan Chi neck streacher is the worst Fatality ever.

The secret chareter line up is fine it could be worse they could have brought back Jonny Cage

The only thing that would potentially suck about that, is the fact that they're basically all ported from MK: DA.


No changes whatsoever in their gameplay, no new fatals...that would just suck.

I'm praying Shang's in this game...but I don't want him if he's going to have the same exact moveset and same exact fatality, and all that.

Also I highly doubt Sareena whould be a super secret characther because to some people she's new, And I think Midway would interduce her better than a super secert characther! Like I said I won't believe rhis until Mk:D comes out!!

Your going to be all hype for Sareena ( for example) thinking she's in the game but when you unlock everything, she's nowhere to be found.
