Thanks a lot, HellrazerHD! It's inspiring comments like these that make me keep writing these down and posting them up!

Yes and no. Do you see how, in some character's endings, other characters also get their finality? In most cases like these, it means that those "side" characters will not be getting their own ending (since it's been discovered already). Also, I'm hesitant about doing endings for characters like Mokap. All in all, as long as people keep reading and liking the endings, more will come, and possibly every character's fate will be decided one way or the other.

LoL, thanks. I'm definately far from forgetting to do the endings, since the response has been amazing.
Right now as I'm writing this, I'm also working on the latest ending, which should be up later today.
Yes, it will involve gods, but also this ending will have a few things about it that you guys haven't seen until now, including a peek at future tribulations for MK8.
Keep posting, guys, and don't forget to check back and catch the latest ending, coming soon!
Here is Raiden's ending, guys. This is a veeery long one, but it's worth it, as it stands out among the others! Took me a long time and a lot of effort, so I hope you all really love it, or else!
~ RAIDEN (SHINNOK, FUJIN, KAI) ~
When the scene starts, the screen seems to be filming a small, underground area surrounded by moist earth. All of a sudden, two large, skeletal hands comes rushing towards the screen, which starts to zoom out quickly as the hands continue to rise, opening up a passageway as they smash through the earth surrounding it. Soon enough, the screen rises from the underground location and shows us Raiden, who is curiously looking around the battlefield, glancing here and there at the many fights ocurring. The casual look on his face disappears, however, when the skeletal hands finally free themselves from the underground location from where they were fighting to escape; they rise from the ground and wrap themselves around Raiden, squeezing hard. Raiden shouts in pain as the ghostly hands bind him in place, like an unbreakable rope. He feels the energy slowly being drained from him, until the skeletal hands soften their grip just as quickly as they had risen from the ground. Raiden is surprised, but still frantic to free himself, when he hears a strangely-familiar voice coming from a distance.
Shinnok: "Well... I was beginning to doubt wether our paths would ever cross again, 'God of Thunder'..." (The screen shifts to show us Shinnok slowly approaching the scene - we notice he is holding a staff with an amulet resembling the one he posessed previously). "For a moment, I did not recognize you." (The screen now slowly rises from Raiden's feet to his face, giving us a proper sight at his 'dark' look). "I can only wonder what could have happened to you since our last encounter to
cause such a... noticeable change in your appearence."
Raiden: "All you must know is that I am no longer the Raiden you encountered during your last idiotic attempt to gain power over the realms!" (Shinnok's face hardens). "In fact, how have you managed to rise from the your confinement in the Netherrealm yet again?"
Shinnok (a grin returning to his face): "I must say I've been more than anxious to share this particular story with you..." (he starts walking in a circle around Raiden, who continues to be held in place by the skeletal hands). "You do remember that you were the one who banished me to the Netherrealm after my battle with your... former champion?"
Raiden: "You know about Liu Kang's death?"
Shinnok: "I know much more than you think, Raiden, having carefully studied the going-ons outside that hellhole in which you imprisoned me."
Raiden: "I thought you had always desired to rule a realm, Shinnok! It is my personal opinion that the Netherrealm is the most fitting world to be under your control..."
Shinnok: "Although I discord from your personal views... I would be lying if I was to say I did not thoroughly enjoy ruling the Netherrealm. After all, it is a realm full of potential... full of powerful allies who share my thirst for domination... and full of, shall I say, 'gifts' to those who have the capacity to uncover them!"
Raiden: "You dance around the explanation of how you managed to ascend back to this realm! Could it be that a powerful ex-god such as yourself is scared to face me in kombat?" (He struggles to free himself once more, unsuccessfully).
Shinnok: "I see in you an arrogance that was not present last time we met. As much as I cannnot wait to finally slay you, I am unable to allow myself to miss the chance to see the look on your face when you hear of how I fled from the Netherrealm..."
______________
The scene fills with a bright light; once it fades out, we see Shinnok (clearly in the Netherrealm) walking across a sullied bridge. In the background around him, flames constantly shoot upwards, and we hear continuous faint screams and moans of agony coming from all directions. Shinnok stops walking when he comes across a blood-stained wall. The screen moves to show us this wall. In its center lies a small crevice running downwards, a blue-toned light emitting from within it.
After years of wandering that damned realm, I finally came across a very peculiar area, which I believed could prove to be my chance to escape once more, without any need for outside help. It was a portal leading out of the Netherrealm, but it had already been used a long time before I encountered it. By whom I do not know, but I realized that it had not yet closed completely. If I was able supply it with enough power, I believed the portal could fully open up once again, allowing me safe passage to whatever realm it was connected to.
We now see a long, golden staff resembling a pitchfork with two curved spikes on the tip hovering in the air; Shinnok gapes at it intently, raises his hands upwards, and the staff slowly descends to meet his hands.
It took a tremendously long time, but through careful manipulation of a few Netherrealm beings and my own efforts, I was able to create a most powerful item composed of a number of sacred artifacts scattered throughout the realm. My newly-acquired weapon was indeed capable of astonishment feats; one of them was the ability to attract all forms of energy from outside realms I wished to have under my power. That is when I learned of the death of Liu Kang by the hands of the traitor Quan Chi (whom I have already had a 'chat' with) and the sorcerer he had formed an alliance with.
A surprising scene comes next; we see a full moon centered in dark, cloudy skies. The screen comes down and finally falls upon the Wu Shi Academy, particularly a shrine dedicated to the former Shaolin Monk Liu Kang. From the earth beneath this shrine, a decaying arm rushes from the ground, sets itself down, and pushes up Liu Kang's reanimated corpse.
A discreet incantation was all it took to allow me to intervene with your former champion's corpse, which lay rotting in the ground. My primary intentions were to bring him back to life in his human form, as to further extend the possibilities of what I could accomplish by having control over him. Even with my concentrated power, however, I was unable to achieve such a thing. Yes, he returned to the world of the living as the decomposing abomination he was at the time, but still, under my power.
We see Liu Kang's corpse going on a rampage around the Wu Shi Academy, violently slaying all who got in his way. When he takes the life of one of his victims, we notice the victim's soul rise into the air above the Academy and immediately shoot downwards into the ground, transcending barriers and finally arriving at the Netherrealm, where it cuts through the air and finally sinks into Shinnok's Staff.
What better form of energy existed that could provide me with all the power I needed as fast as possible, if not the human soul itself? I maneuvered Liu Kang's corpse as it murdered all of his once-friends and allies, their souls instantly being drawn by my Staff as it descended into the Netherrealm. I felt amazing satisfaction in forcing the body of the warrior who once defeated me to brutally cause bloodshed among those who so profoundly cared for him during his lifetime. It was as though I was getting my rightfully-deserved revenge, and at the same time, working towards my newest accomplishment.
Now we see Shinnok aiming his Staff towards the blood-stained wall we first saw. A stream of crimsom light shoots from it and reaches the microscopic remains of the portal. It gradually opens up, and before long, a full-sized exit from the Netherrealm stands before Shinnok, who is more than glad to leap into it.
It was not very long before the Staff was overflowing with power, thanks to the many souls it consumed. I gave up a small fraction of that power in order to provide the barely-open portal with enough energy to retain its original size. My new "toy" continued to slay any human he encountered when he received no more commands from me; the surplus of souls were, consequently, still attracted to the Netherrealm, but forced to wander it aimlessly, as the Staff could no longer contain any more. Before long, I was finally out of the Netherrealm, and found myself in the world to which the portal was connected: Outworld.
Interestingly enough, the next scene shows us the Dragon King Onaga in his fortress, surrounded by the six Kamidogu, and Tanya standing just behind him. He walks to the center of the room and opens up his right hand, revealing Shinnok's old Amulet, beaming with power. He seems about to set it down in the center of the Kamidogu, when it is suddenly encircled by a beacon of green light and vanishes on the spot. Onaga roars vociferously, and we see Tanya gasp and almost falls backwards.
It was a long shot, but I knew I must try to retrieve the Amulet stolen from me by Quan Chi. I attempted to draw it to me by having the Staff attract its power, wherever it now resided. The fact that the amulet was so close by made it easy for it to heed the Staff's call. It was not long before I had in my hands the original, all-powerful artifact that was stripped from me in the past! It was then that I knew for sure that I had everything I needed to overpower all who opposed me, and have all realms under my control!
The scene fills with a bright light once again; it fades out and brings us back to present time, where Shinnok smiles at the still-powerless Raiden.
______________
Shinnok: "Unfortunately for you, Raiden, you were the first opposition I encountered since this..." (He looks around the battlefield). "...chaos commenced."
Raiden: "Although I admire the lengths you've gone to in order to flee the Netherrealm, you are, nonetheless, putting the realm of Earth in obvious hazard. It's my duty as its protector to once again dispose of you before you can cause it any further harm!"
Shinnok: "And how do you plan on doing that? I doubt you can even shoot one of your useless little rays of electricity binded as you are."
Raiden: "Did you not say you had everything you need in order to destroy all who oppose you? Why, then, must you kill me when I am unable to defend myself?"
We get a close-up shot of Shinnok frowning at Raiden before he waves his Amulet Staff in the air, and the skeletal hands catch fire and disappear. Raiden falls to the floor.
Shinnok: "I must confess that I will rather enjoy bringing about your death as slowly as possible, rather than kill you swiftly and painlessly."
Raiden: "The worst mistake you ever made!"
Raiden teleports behind Shinnok and sends a ray of electricity to his back. As the former Elder God slides across the rough ground, Raiden takes out his Staff and charges at his enemy, determined to attain victory. Shinnok groans angrily for suffering the first hit (his forced breath draws dust into the air near his head), but quickly gets back to his feet and strikes Raiden's Staff with his own Amulet Staff before it can hit him. The two fighters trade unsucessful blows with their weapons, each one being blocked by the other's Staff. During one of Raiden's attempts to land a hit,Shinnok strikes his Staff and forces it down onto the ground. The two look at each other for a brief second; this is when Shinnok opens his mouth widely, and a spectral projectile shoots from it as he growls, smashing Raiden in the face. The thunder god is knocked backwards, and as he falls, Raiden feels Shinnok's Amulet Staff clobber him in the back, sending him plummetting further back and onto the floor.
Shinnok: "You may look different, Raiden, but you prove to be as futile of a fighter as ever! If this is all you can do, you will not live to entertain me much longer!"
Raiden disappears and rematerializes on his feet, immediately sending another ray of electricity towards Shinnok, who defends himself by putting forth his Amulet Staff. The Staff absorbs the projectile entirely. Raiden continues to shoot the electric ray and then starts running towards Shinnok as he does so. Unable to set down his Amulet Staff in fear of being struck by the continuous projectile, Shinnok stands his ground until Raiden reaches him and delivers two powerful punches to his face, blocks an attack by him, then follows up by knocking him off balance with a roundhouse kick. Shinnok falls, and Raiden proceeds to electrocute him from afar. The fallen god forces himself to react (even though Raiden is concentrating all of his power in this attack), then raises his right hand high into the air. Raiden's assault is cut short as another skeletal hand rises from the ground, grabs him, and starts squeezing and spinning the thunder god around. Free once again, Shinnok stands up and raises both his hands into the air. A second skeletal hand bursts forth in front of Raiden, then strikes him directly in the face, vanishing in the process. Shinnok chuckles in pure delight, then waves his Amulet Staff in the air; the skeletal hand holding Raiden smashes him down hard onto the ground, then hurls him high up in the air. Shinnok aims his weapon towards his opponent and sends up a stream of light (similar to the one we saw during the flashback), which clashes with Raiden's falling body further damages its target. We get a shot of Shinnok as he slowly approaches the screen, and in few seconds, Raiden falls in front of it.
Shinnok (laughing evilly): "You are way too overconfident for your own good, thunder god!" (He points his Amulet Staff at him once more, and the amulet on its tip lights up). "At last, you meet your death by my hands!"
The light on Shinnok's amulet increases in size, until he is suddenly raised in the air by a small tornato that has formed unexpectedly benath him.
Shinnok: "What--"
His words are interrupted as a fireball is hurled straight into him. Shinnok flies through the air and crashes down not too far from where Raiden (who is now slowly getting up) is located. The thunder god looks to see who has attacked Shinnok once he gets back up. As the screen shows us what he sees, we notice Fujin hovering in the air, and Kai standing just beside him.
Fujin: "Raiden! Are you still able to fight?"
Raiden: "An ignorant question on your part, Fujin. As a superior god, I can withstand much more than you might think!" (We get a shot of Fujin's face, filled with a puzzled expression). "In all honesty, your help was far from needed!"
Kai: "Raiden, what has happened to you?"
Raiden: "And you have brought a human to assist you? If you had any aptitude to be Earthrealm's Protector, you would know better than put an Earthrealm human's life in danger!"
Kai: "I have come to assist Fujin by my own will!"
Raiden: "Humans and their wills are what put the realm of Earth in constant danger! As long as I'm the primary guardian of your world, your wills will be viewed as nothing more than useless whining!"
Kai: "Raiden, how can you--"
Kai barely has time to utter a single word more as Shinnok summons another skeletal hand to forcefully grab a hold of him.
Fujin: "Kai!"
Another skeletal hand rises beside Fujin, and swats the god of wind like a fly, throwing him onto the ground. We now see Shinnok motion with his right hand, and immediately after, the hand holding Kai dashes through the earth towards its summoner, finally smashing Kai down by his feet.
Shinnok: "A pleasant surprise to have one of Raiden's precious humans arrive! It will be a memorable act to destroy you before his eyes!"
We suddenly see another ray of electricity flying in Shinnok's direction. Effortlessly, however, the former Elder God absorbs it with his Amulet Staff, strikes Kai with with (electrocuting him briefly), and dashes towards Raiden to continue their battle (once he does so, the skeletal hand holding Kai released him). Shinnok and Raiden continue to fight, soon joined by Fujin. Amazingly enough, Shinnok manages to evade every one of the two gods' attacks for a good while. When Raiden throws a punch, he grabs his arm and elbows him in the face, following up by throwing him into a nearby boulder. Fujin flies towards Shinnok and lands a flying kick to his target, then spins around with a speedy roundhouse. Shinnok whips Fujin's leg with his Amulet Staff, then drives it into his stomach. Fujin doubles over, holding his injured area.
Shinnok: "The realms are damned if filled with such weak gods!"
Shinnok uppercuts Fujin, who flips back and falls on his face. Raiden flies to Shinnok with his Torpedo Push, only to have his rival sidestep the attack and counter it by sending his Judgement Fist projectile into his back. Raiden flies through the air after being struck and hits Fujin (who was almost getting back to his feet) on the way; the two gods fall together onto the floor. Shinnok has little time to dwell in his apparant victory, however, as he is hit in the back of the head by a Spiked Club. When he falls, we see Kai standing with the weapon just behind him. Kai brings it down on the fallen Shinnok to finish him off, only to have his weapon clash with the Amulet Staff. The amulet of the staff lights up once more, and this time, the red beacon of light shoots towards the Spiked Club, hurling it across the screen.
Shinnok: "You will pay with your life for spoiling my victory, you insect!"
Shinnok rises with a punch to Kai's face, who blocks it with a hasty movement, only to be caught by the former Elder God's knee as it hits him in the stomach. Shooting another Judgement Fist, he sends Kai staggering backwards. The screen shifts to show us his Spiked Club on the ground a few feet from there; it lights up with a similar crimsom light as emitted from the Amulet Staff, then (as though being controlled by an invisible force), flies towards Kai and clobbers him with a devastating hit. Kai's body cuts through the air. Shinnok waves his Amulet Staff once more, and a skeletal hand rises beneath Kai's plummeting body, its oversized fingers outstretched. Kai finally falls on the hand, and its fingers cut through his body like spikes. Blood drips down the apparition before it slowly disappears, leaving Kai's body to land on the earth below...
Fujin: "Damn you! You will pay for this, Shinnok!"
Shinnok spins around to face Fujin.
Shinnok: "Apparantly you can endure more damange than I previously thought! No matter... I will crush you as easily as I did your human!"
Fujin suddenly levitates into the air, his blank eyes glowing. Shinnok smirks at this, until he feels a strong gust of wind beneath him lift him off his feet, then another one behind him launch him forward at the airborne Fujin. Shinnok sends his Judgement Fist projectile at Fujin, who hovers higher to avoid it, then kicks his adversary in the back as he flies past him, watching him fall to the floor below. Raiden, who has also recovered, propels another one of his bolts of lightning at Shinnok, who quickly rises back up and leaps into the air to avoid it. Before he can land back, however, Fujin raises him with another gust of wind. Raiden aims a second projectile, which Shinnok cannot escape under the pressure of the strong draft. He feels the electricity surge through his entire body, before he once again collapses. Fujin lands, and Raiden takes a few steps towards Shinnok.
Raiden: "You are defeated, Shinnok... with or without your amulet." (Raiden gradually extends his arms into the air, as Shinnok looks on, a fretful look on his face. Before long, the ground beside Raiden's feet opens up, and a swirling red portal appears in the gap. Shinnok looks with horror at the portal Raiden has opened; we can hear frightful wails emitting from it, and occasionally, a deformed arm will burst forth, as though trying to grab onto something). "It is time for you to be sent back home!"
Shinnok (getting up): "No... never! I will not allow you to send me back there so easily!"
Raiden: "You have no chances of defeating both me and Fujin by yourself, Shinnok! You will return from where you should have never left!"
Shinnok: "Fool! With the amulet in my posession, I can all!"
Shinnok fires another crimsom stream of light at Fujin, who shouts in pain as it encircles him. Raiden charges at Shinnok with a Torpedo Push to stop him. Shinnok raises the intensity of the projectile surrounding Fujin (who continues to bellow in pain) before releasing it, evading Raiden's Push, and smashing him in the back with the Amulet Staff. We see Fujin slowly descend onto the floor in the background, while Shinnok continues the assault on Raiden by raising him into the air with the power from his amulet.
Shinnok: "I... am... invincible!"
Shinnok releases Raiden and immediately sends a punch to his face as he falls, then leaps into the air. He lands a combination of attacks (both from the Amulet Staff and his own) on Raiden midair, then smashes him with the Staff with all his might. Like a bullet, Raiden shoots into the earth, a pile of dust and sand bursting into the air due to the impact. Shinnok continues to hover in the air (surrounded by the familiar crimsom light) when Fujin flies after him. He throws two swift punches and a kick towards the villain, who evades them all, and bashes Fujin in the face with both his hands cupped into a fist. Shinnok looks down at the two fallen gods, and his eyes fall on Raiden.
Shinnok: "Now to finish you off!"
Shinnok thrusts himself at Raiden, raises his Amulet Staff high in the air, and brings it down on him with devastating strength. To his surprise, however, Raiden catches the Staff as it's about to strike him. With a forcible kick (while still holding onto the Amulet Staff), Raiden is successful in throwing Shinnok off and stripping him of his weapon. He then teleports beside the Netherrealm Portal, and wasting no time, chucks the Amulet Staff into it. Shinnok screams with anger when he realizes what Raiden has done, his body constricted by a feeling of instant vulnerability.
Shinnok: "No... my amulet! My staff!" (He gets up and grits his teeth, glaring at Raiden). "Your limbs will litter this field, thunder god!!!"
Shinnok runs towards Raiden (who stands his ground) shouting furiously. He swings his right arm at the thunder god, who ducks it and retaliates with an uppercut. Shinnok backs away to dodge the attack and catches Raiden with an abrupt leg sweep. He then falls to his knees and wraps his hands around Raiden's neck, slowly pushing him towards the portal.
Shinnok: "This time... you're the one who will be banished to the Netherrealm!"
Raiden struggles to break free as his head is now positioned directly above the portal. A demonic hand pops up and grabs his head, tugging at it. Shinnok laughs loudly, boasting victory. Raiden then raises his right leg and kicks Shinnok's back. The former Elder God is propelled forward. He cries frantically as many horrifying hands (along with the one previously pulling Raiden's head towards the portal) all grab his body, and with one final, powerful tug, bring Shinnok further down the portal until he is no longer visible. Raiden is panting with exhaustion, but still concentrates his power in closing up the portal, confining Shinnok to the Netherrealm once more. After a few seconds, we see Fujin walking up to him.
Fujin: "Thank you for your assistance in defeating Shinnok, Raiden. But I fear that I have come here to accomplish more than just attain victory over him."
Raiden (his red eyes aimed directly at Fujin): "What do you speak of?"
Fujin: "I have been asked by the Elder Gods to find you among this anarchic field in order to deliver you a message."
(Raiden stands up). "They do not want you returning to your former position as guardian of Earth, Raiden."
Raiden: "That position is rightfully mine, Fujin. You may have temporarily filled it during my work as an Elder God, but I am no longer among them. You will step down and surrender your status to me!"
Fujin: "No! The Elder Gods fear what you have become, Raiden! And after what I have seen here today, I cannot say I disagree with their opinion."
Raiden: "And if I do not resume my position as guardian of the Earthrealm... who do they expect to take it over? You?"
Fujin: "As a matter of fact, yes! They have appointed me as the new guardian of the realm of Earth, in your place."
Raiden: "Earthrealm needs a god such as I!"
Fujin: "An immoral and merciless god who will willingly destroy life to further ensure peace? You have been tainted by something, Raiden, and are in no shape to protect a realm! Perhaps there will come a time when the Elder Gods will find a way to free you of this corruption... until then, they believe Earthrealm will be in better hands if I take over as its guardian!"
Raiden (assuming his stance): "To strip me of my status... you will have to defeat me in kombat, Fujin."
Fujin: "Raiden, I do not wish to fight you!"
Raiden: "Then you may stand there defenseless while I dispose of you!"'
Raiden teleports behind the god of wind and strikes him. Fujin turns around and the two begin to fight. Neither lands a hit, until Fujin thrusts his right first forward and Raiden evades it, effortlessly getting him back with a knee to his midsection, followed by a mighty uppercut that spins Fujin backwards. Fujin stops his own fall by hovering midair, then descends and nails Raiden in the jaw with a flying kick. The thunder god rolls back and onto the floor, and has only time to look up before he is met with a damaging punt kick by Fujin, which hurls him further down the field. Fujin gives Raiden a petrifying look, but his vengeful opponent refuses to accept defeat and he materializes back onto his feet and shoots a thick wave of electricity towards his benevolent opposition. Not having enough time to evade the massive projectile, Fujin attempts to counter by sending a strong current at it. The two powers clash. Bolts of electricity fly in all directions but miss Fujin, as the gust of wind change their course. We get a close-up shot of both gods, their teeth clamped together as they apply all of their energy onto these two final attacks. They seem evenly matched, until Raiden suddenly yells out and sends an electric orb forward. The orb travels through the wave of electricity until it reaches the area which Fujin's wind is in contact with; this causes the electric current to power up unexpectedly. We get a quick shot of Fujin's eyes as they widen with obvious surprise before we see Raiden's current of electricity overpower his gust of wind and reach him, badly electrocuting the god of wind. After suffering the damage from this devastating attack, Fujin falls onto his back, defeated.
Raiden looks at him and shakes his head slowly before turning and walking away. In the distance, we see a figure resembling Shujinko.
PICTURE: On the picture, we see Raiden hovering midair and casting bolts of electricity onto a large group of people, who are all screaming and unsuccessfully trying to escape Raiden's lethal power (there is an explosion in the middle of the scene). In the background, we see Fujin's face transluscent in the darkened sky to the right, and a strange man, his face ablaze with anger, to the left.
------- Raiden defeated Fujin during their last encounter, thus defying the wish of the Elder Gods and taking over his former position as protector of the realm of Earth. He continued to impose his strict nature onto all who resided in the realm, never hesitant to take the life of anyone who endangered it. That included the groups of refugees from Outworld, who were constantly trying to enter the Earth in order to escape their own realm (which now found itself caught in utter violence and chaos caused by constant shifts of power from three warriors desperately trying to rule it). Raiden felt that if he allowed these people who make Earth their new home, they would put it in danger, since Outworld's future new ruler (whomever that may be) would undoubtedly try to punish them. This angered a particular warrior from Outworld, who wanted nothing more than to get him and his people to safety. Watching over Raiden's harsh reactions, Fujin swore to somehow stop Raiden before he went too far...-------
Ok, I'm veeeery tired right now. This was another long ending that really took an exceptional amount of effort. This means that next up I'll have to do an ending that is a little bit shorter and involves a lower amount of characters and battles.
Anyway, hopefully you guys also like this ending, especially since it gives you an insight on a factor of the next-gen storyline. Analyze it well.
Post your thoughts, feedback, and opinions, guys - by now you all know how vital they are to me, and they are definately what's keeping these endings coming along! I'll check back...
Thanks for reading!

Wow. Whilst Raiden's ending was predictable in that he defeated Shinnok and fought Fujin (and further tainting his own soul) you managed to do it so deliciously I never felt like I really knew what was going to happen. It sets things up nicely for what I imagine many of us are eager for - Raiden to become a villain in the next gen. Kudos to you.
The only problem I have is that there seems to be no such finality with Shinnok. He is sent to the Netherealm yet again but surely he will be able to escape soon. I mean, if a powerful sorcerer such as Quan Chi (who I'm assuming Shinnok has done away with?) can escape (albeit with the assistance of Moloch and Drahmin) then surely a fallen Elder God, stripped of much of his power as he is, would be able to escape yet again. Perhaps the gods need to find a more final way of defeating him. I hope not though because I absolutely love Shinnok's character...

I don't think I'll be continuing after MK:A is released, since most people won't wanna be reading when they could be playing (especially me). But who knows, it could change. Shao Khan's ending, I'm saving as the final, climatic ending. It'll be very lengthy, will involve a lot of characters, and is the best one so far to really end this whole thing.
Fortuna, I also think Shinnok would have a possibility of escaping the Netherrealm again, which, IMO, is a good one to keep on the side. But remember that both times when he escaped, he had to go through a lot of work and effort. So it's not like he just jumps out and takes a stroll around the realms anytime he feels like it, lol - but yeah, he could come back in the far future.

Thunderstudent, maybe you could edit that and give your reasons, so that I can address them properly? Hopefully it's not just because you don't like Dark Raiden.
I'll keep checking back and reading all the comments posted here, guys! Keep posting!

my hate of dark raiden is part of my unhappy post but i really want to see raiden return to his job as the elder god of lightening, he should go on to better things. i would have had him stay an eldergod until deception if i was doing the story. fujin should have died in the fight with onaga making raiden return to earth to stop dragon king.and the dark dosn't have any real big reason, he is mad at shujinko for getting fooled, but other mortals got tricked, mk2 was a trick to get earth realm with sindels return. and quan chi made sub-zero and scorpion fools by turning them against the other pallet swap ninja. chi also deceved shinnok by the faulse amulet he gave the evil elder god. and no one told him to blow himself to pieces he could have leaved to plan a counter attack and find any fighters that were able to battle the dragon king. shang tsung and quan chi would have died and kangs soul would be free so there wouldn't be any real change to the events. the elder gods had a chance to stop evil and they said screw earth, i say if they die with the entire elder gods can not guide you anymore crap then good, they need elder gods that will aid mortals and not just stand by and let the universe get oblerated. if raiden should blame anyone its the eldergods and the dragon king onaga. shujinko was only a boy when he was deceved. they should have told raiden about him and the evil that was deveving him so he could stop him before it got to this part. this is the fault of the elder gods from mk1, they acted arogent and the people of the realms are suffering for their lack of action.

Once again you have outdone your self. But the darkness possesing raiden is etheir shinnok or a more powerful force than any, the loss of his soul after he died. But there is a way to kill him, if the elder gods would take part in destroying him and replenishing his soul. "Those who defy the elder gods don't have time to regret it". These are also the words of Raiden from his past life, soon to return. Or he may just see himself as a threat and kill himself, anything could happen. That was a good ending and thunderstudent part of that was to calm you down, I know yyour a big fan of raiden, you just have to think past the negative and look into the positive.
Thunderstudent, basically you're saying that it's not Raiden's fault that he's been tainted and it's not Shujinko's fault that Onaga returned, but instead, that the Elder Gods are responsible for all that's happened because of their lack of care towards the safety of the realms. While I do agree with you, I think that still does not change how things are now: Raiden is still corrupted by something, and continues to be a vengeful, merciless god as depicted by MK:D and MK:A. Since he is this way, it would be pretty redundant for the Elder Gods to still allow him to guard the Earth, even considering the fact that they didn't show much care towards it in the past. Hopefully what I said has something to do with what you meant, lol.
And HellrazerHD, thanks for reading the latest ending, for the posting your thoughts, and actually shedding some light on the whole Dark Raiden controversy.

Hopefully what I said has something to do with what you meant, lol.
i'm glade you agree and i think raiden may agree with me, and i agree with what you say that raiden should take a while off to rethink his stand on earth and the humans that live on this planet and he needs to be cleansed before he becomes the earth guardian. but lets look at who is really the party that droped the universe. if the eldergods gave aid to raiden when he begged them to stop shang tsung and his assosiate quan chi then much of what started would have never come to pass. pride dose go before the fall and the elder gods were more arrogent then the mortals they were supose to guard. fighters like raiden, liu kang, shujinko, fujin, and many more followed them without any question and when they asked for the power of the elder god counsile they let them be taken for slautering. i know it won't change what has pased but if they are as strong as we would think then why don't they use their power to go back to before the end of the outworld contest and stop this from happening, their supost to be all seeing and all mighty.

Thanks for the kind words, Barakaz_cuz. But I'm not sure if Kira and Kabal are coming up next. I'm thinking it will be one that either involves another cyborg or sheds light on the Sub-Zero/Sonya bit from Johnny's video.

Wait, you haven't done scorpion yet, he's a major fan favorate and I can't wait to see what you do with him. But I have a feeling it ain't gonna be a happy ending like the, I like to say, fake one people have been posting.

Another great ending.
By far the best one created and detailed. Very good job. Looking forward for the next one.

This is the first time I'm reading one of these endings. the title caught my eye as it mentioned my fave character, Raiden.
I have to say that is an excellent ending you've written.
I just hated how he pretty much is evil himself there.
It's just not him!
Great work, dude!

Great work here, very long but very good. The only thing that I would have changed was the fight between Raiden and Fujin just because I feel Fujin should be built up more to pose a greater challenge to Raiden. Another thing would be that Raiden pretty much went evil in here. I wrote a storyline for MK Armageddon back when they just released the name and no info on characters. Then I started writing up a sequel to my Armageddon story that would involve Raiden and his turning. I always pictured that Raiden would never reach evil, just border it with extremely strict rules and authority. Kind of like Seido.
But all in all these are just the ways I would have written my endings not that I will at least now or anything. But great read, as always I enjoyed it a ton. I can't wait to see who's next!
