That was great, although maybe scorpion could have made a good apperence to help sub-zero.You should go into writng stories or sending these in to midway to get to boon so you might get a good game development position.I know I would'nt mind having you on my development team.

And mgriego, Reiko and Shao Khan are also on the list, although I'm reluctant to do a Sub-Zero one, considering 70% of his ending was shown here, and the rest will be shown on another character's ending that should come up sometime. Also noted Scorpion.

I actually came to realize that if I continue to fuse together 2+ characters into one single ending, I should get to almost all MK:A characters (or closer than previously thought). I should note that I've edited the first page and put in paranthesis the name of characters who also have their finality on that characters' endings. Check it out and you'll understand.



I was thinking hard about something Noob Saibot could say to give Sub-Zero the hint of whom he was. I never heard a confirmation anywhere that the original Sub was never a Lin Kuei master, so I just threw that in, since it was (to me) a possibility that really solved my "dilemma".



Scorpion got a lot to worry about in his own ending, trust me - And about your suggestion: that's a really big compliment, so a huge thanks is in order! However, I doubt Midway or Boon would really pay attention to these. They might delete it without even taking a glance, considering it to just some fan begging for their idea to make it into the game. Sad, but I bet they do that.

Wouldn't it be the best if you could land a job just writing and creating stuff like this, then get paid? I know I'd be set in life if it was like that . But until something like that comes my way (lol), I'm very happy writing these for you guys' enjoyment!

Keep posting guys! I'm very happy to see how well this thread is doing (5 pages, wow!). It shows me that you're all really liking these endings for the most part, and it's good to give something back to the community!

Great stuff Leo amazing as always! I love how you had Smoke return to humanity and join the Lin Kuei becaust that's exactly what I had envisioned for him. The only down part was the fact that Sub-Zero killed Noob Saibot, I know he'll just return to the Netherrealm, but I think a quick fight against Sub-Zero and with Smoke intereferring would have caused a retreat because Noob Saibot would have weakend. I think the proper fight as to who kills who should be decided in a later game. Also to note, the original Sub-Zero was never the Lin Kuei Grandmaster as someone stated. If you want to replace that perhaps you could have him say something like he retrieved Shinnok's sacred amulet and/or defeated the four elemental gods. But still very good. Your writing is extremely descriptive and I could just watch this ending unfold in my mind as I read. Awesome work! I can't wait to see who's next.

As a request, I did ask for Kung Lao although he was bit in Liu's ending, I'd still like to see how he gets there and if he fights anyone else before, but I'd also like to Ermac's then since he has yet to be mentioned. Keep up the great work Leo and remember if you need any help or anything like that just let me know.

Well then, I finally had a chance to view this thread. Good stuff.

Breakdown?:

Pros: The fights were written really good. I also liked how you included the shift of the screen and views of the characters. I too liked the returning of smoke as a "defender of earth though I can......imagine it as a real thing to accomplish. Even in the realm of MK. This is really detailed I love it for that because I sometimes don't comprehend well what I read, when reading descriptive writing that is. (character flaw of self. Lol)
I liked how Smoke was protrayed, as a Cyborg but with some realm of emotion left in him. I also was pleased in how he was beign tampered with alot here. You don't get let in to the manipulation a robot goes through often. Good.

Cons: At points, it provoks me to "adjust" some things and I shouldn't feel that way when I read. I should feel like "That's IT". I think it was a smiggen incomplete in some parts of description. Some of the speach patterns between the characters could be more......personalized? I think is the word. Like when Noob is talking, he could read more emotionless//sinical. He shouldn't even suggest "I feel like" imo.
This is just based on the words you choose when he's speaking. Like "Do not" instead of "Don't". See that? "Do not" is more profound, more a demanding, emotionless way of saying "Don't".


All in all, 4/5 or 9/10 or whatever. Great read man, keep it comin'.

I suggest an Ashrah ending next to fill in that gap - I know she will have something to do with Noob (and perhaps Sareena)

Anywayz, great job as usual. Not as lengthy as your past ones (not really a bad thing), but you still kept the detail and everything. I always thought Subby would be somehow related to Frost, Sareena, Scorpion, Noob, Smoke (the list goes on) and I am glad that you incorporated many of these characters. As per usual, it was great and i really loved it. 5/5

Ashrah's ending has been done, it's on page 1, I believe? I think you might have missed it . Glad you could post your thoughts on this newest ending, matthewhaddad. Yes, Sub-Zero has interactions with every one of the characters you listed (except Scorpion). He has a big involvement in Frost's ending along with one of his "allies", as well as Sareena, although not on her ending. Things will become clearer once I write down thse two characters' ending.



Psh, he's always running off from that Netherrealm, I doubt Sub-Zero killing him will keep him locked there for too long.

Raiden's ending is actually gonna be a pretty important one, because it will not only decide his fate and the one of another character, but also will give you guys an insight on what I'm imagining for next-gen, revealing some pretty big information on it. (P.S.: I know I talk like I'm actually planning next-gen MK, but just bear with me here, lol)

Also, I'd like to let everyone know that Shao Khan's ending is gonna be one of the most eventful ones yet, and it will be pretty "big" (both in its length, the action, and the characters it will also involve endings of). This one's gonna take a bit of work, to tell the truth, but I'll be sure to get it done. Before I do Shao Khan, however, I'm gonna need to give some attention to other characters, whom you need to know what happens to in order to follow Shao Khan's ending as best as possible.

So... coming up is an ending that will involve three characters: one that kills and is killed, one that fights but is killed, and one that just kills. *dun dun dun* (lmao)
