I'm not very impressed by Jigglypuff or Lucario so far. For J-puff rest got toned down and can't KO a middle weight at even 70%. I'm not sure how effective WoP still is, but I doubt it saw any improvements since characters recover out of hit stun much faster in this. Rollout looks the same, aerial game looks nerfed. Not looking too good so far.

Lucario looks like a solid mid tier, but nothing wow. His KO power seems lacking, but did you know the more damage he takes the stronger he gets? Pretty interesting. His dair looks amazing and he can latch onto various surfaces on a stage that isn't the ledge, making him a recovery monster. My prediction is his game will revolve heavily around SH dairs into pressure. Aura sphere of course looks solid and having a counter helps. Also has good tilts for juggle starters.

Why can't yall hit up offline tournaments? Yall both teens no? There's definitely going to be tourneys in Cleveland. Probably only 10 bucks or so to enter if not less.

Damn, Jigg got shitted on it seems. I hadn't heard too much about her, so I don't know much. Lucario looks decent. I like that increasing power when he takes more damage. I also am in total love with his dair and dsmash. You see the hitboxes on that dsmash? Fuckin' monstrous.

Yeah, money isn't the reason we can't go to a tournament. I just don't have a license. I got my car picked out and shit, but hell, I can't drive it!furious


Chea, Lucario's down air and down smash are indeed insane. Both have amazing priority, but other than that I'm not impressed by his moveset. HIs jab is weak as is his other smashes and dash attack. Sure does look cool though.

Puff prolly will suck, but I'm still going to use her. I'll make her work.

Did yo usee the videos where they go over the move sets? The players don't seem too good so far, but I appreciate the effort. Here are a few. King Dedede is my nig! Look at when Lucario launches aura sphere and it STILL didn't KO. Disturbing.

I strongly advise those who will be playing Smash but don't have past experience to check these videos out. I also advise those who are on the fence about whether or not to get into it to check these out.

Couple vids for yall. Yayo playin snake. Here's a vid of Snake so you'll have an advantage >_> haha.

Here's one with Bowser and Snake. Bowser player was actually the best Bowser in the world in Melee. Definitely still adjusting, but he'll get there.

One of the best fights I've seen so far. Two characters I'm really interested in using, Lucas and Luigi. Check em out. Like I told Dan, he'd dig Luigi and Samus so peep it Dan! Drumz gonna be a Lucas player primarily. Both look among the best in the game thus far. Must watch fo shoo.

Here's the best Samus I've seen so far. Cat named Silven. Looking forward to stompin his ass : ) Dan peep this. Anyone looking for a character with range and top of the line priority peep this.

Lastly, for manly men. Captain Falcon in the house! Def the best Falcon I've seen so far. Everyone was/is under hte impression C.falcon got toned down horribly, but this dude apparently isn't trying to hear that. Here is a video of a C.Falcon taking on a character who many predict will be a top tier, Pit. Notice how he's using the Falcon Punch for forward momentum when trying to get back onto the stage. Pretty innovative.

I was watching Pit's profile video on IGN and they say he has ridiculous recovery from all his moves. Add that to his flying crap and he's one annoying son of a bitch.

I also remember beating your bo plastered off my ass with ashrah...it was funny as hell i could barely see the screen just whipin combo's and beat you,to get pulled on of course.

Going to IGN to learn about Smash is like going to WWE.com to learn about wrestling: It might seem like a good idea, but it isn't.

IGN staff are scrubs and don't know anything about competitive Smash. He is going to be a a good character though. Amazing ability to get back on the stage. Also has decent power and stamina. His move set is kind of lacking, though.

I think Snake has potential for one of the high-tier positions, he seems to be quick and powerful, like Sheik was in Melee, and his explosives seem to kill.

You guys need to cool it with the beefing for real. Here I am trying to show you(Booya) videos and such about the game and all you wanna do is start shit with Moe? Moe ain't gonna change. If you like him then that's tight, but if you didn't like him before you won't like him now, so why pick fights with him by talking about his Bo sig? Is that in anyway constructive? Snake is going to be a monster, but not in anyway like Sheik. Sheik was way more straight up in approach. Her whole game was about insane priority, pressure, and combos that all lead up to/set up her Fair or up smash

Snake is on a whole new level mentally. He is about poking, spacing and setting up his various explosives and smashes for kills. Search SSBB, SSBB Tony or SSBB Psychomidget on youtube and you'll see how crazy he is. Forward tilt and a,a,a are your bread and butter and everything else works around those moves. Crazy range with his Bair and every single one of his specials has a distinct purpose. He's slow though.

It's not surprising to me that Yayo is so interested in usng him. Dude is mad cerebral just like Snake haha.

Do you see that air stomp thing? That move looks crazy, it just like launches you away like nothing. all his explosives are gonna be like 50% of my game. My cousin should like him though I'd be suprised if he didnt. He told me that he'll be picking Ike because his boy Roy got cut.

Prove what? That they have nothing better to do? Your choice to ignore, and it's also your choice to feed into ignorance. I'd prefer you chose the first one so we could have a more productive topic.

DJ, short hop dair with Snake is does insane damage, has good knock back, KO potential and comes out pretty fast. It's not very safe, though, but it's definitely difficult to parry. Definitely a staple for Snake. I've seen the best Snakes so far use it. Good out of a shielded short hop for punish.

For those who don't know, every character has 5 aerial moves.

Fair = Forward Air. Done by pressing forward and A in the air

Dair = Down air. Done by pressing down and A in the air

Bair = Back air. Done by pressing back and A in the air

Nair = Neutral air. Done by pressing A inthe air

Uair = Up air. Done by pressing up and A in the air.

Each have different uses depending on the character obviously. Aerial moves are normally among the best moves in a character's arsenal. However, normally you can only do them by jumping in the air. This can be nullified through short hopping, or pressing and letting go of jump BEFORE your character begins their animation. If done right they'll barely leave the ground and you can now do your aerials while practically on the ground. This allows for combos and pressure not possible before.

You can also use most specials in the air as long as they don't require plucking out of the ground(peach's turnips and olimar's pikmin). So short hopping special moves can be effective for zoning and getting space. IE: Short hop PK fire.
