Urg...I got to Level 6, and then those darned Clay Soldiers kept smacking me around, not to mention that the Brotherhood of the Shadow members kept throwing me like a rag doll. -___-;

Ok i found something new. has anyone tried to jump up all the way to the top of the level in round 6 the living forest? It is from that ledge on the far right where the two clay soldiers are. Just keep jumping up untill you get to a ledge. When you get up there you need to change the view to close or else you cant see anything. Now when you get up there there is a door like the one you throw the clay soldiers through to get to smoke. I found this and instantly got excited that maby you can break it to reveal something new. The only problem is how to get a clay soldier up there. If anyone else finds it let me know.

This has to be used for something. Why else would it be there? EDIT: I tried throwing a clay soldier at the door but nothung happans. I even got a brother of shadow up there and still nothing. i did see another living tree off in the background tho.

I just beat level 9! So exited!

Heres how I rate the levels on difficulty.
Lev. 1 - easy (blades swiping at you constanly is annoying)
Lev. 2 - easy (archers and blade throwers aren't always in plain sight)
Lev. 3 - very easy (The oni warlords kill all the regular onis)
Lev. 4 - very easy (skelotons kill themselves, reptile sucks)
Lev. 5 - easy (scorp just swings his blade around, Orachis don't move much)
Lev. 6 - medium (Brothers of shadow get really annoying)
Lev. 7 - hard (mercenaries do a lot of damage, kano does unblockable spin move, use prjectiles)
Lev. 8 - easy (don't get too close, only 1 other enemy to get health from)
Lev. 9 - Very hard (4 ninjas, 100s of infinites)

It's bad that you don't earn anything, but what is good is that boon actually hid something really good without anyone finding out for a long time.....i would like that to happen in MK:A......good job Midway and ed boon...

Nothin really too Survival Mode.

Took me like 12+ tries to beat level 9, I didn't realize you can get health from the statues at fist. Playing level 9 so many times. I noticed something I don't think I've recalled in the game before...

..Scorpion with a "potty mouth", no kidding. Sometimes when he throws the spear, he says "get the f**k over here!" and "get over here, b**ch!". I only heard it a few times out of playing level 9 for at least an hour or so, but one thing is for certian, I did hear it.

For the record I wasn't "under the influence" for at least 2 days prior to playing the game, so it wasn't an alcohol induced hallucination.

Maybe they thought they took it out but now its been found hence why its only just been found, kinda explains why everyone has the glitches!

Luppi you're not the only one this happen to me like 3 times already. I'm kinda of piss off that I can't play the other levels. Anyway around it guys?

I just beat them - wow, that makes Shao Kahn look like nothing.

I'm pretty sure you get more of a completion % for beating the 9 levels - i think this brings it to a max of 125% if you get all the secrets and bosses.

Beating the boss mode with Scorpion was VERY hard (and kano's level was insanely frustrating - scorpion's teleport/flame punch is very useful in this mode)...I think if I had Liu Kang I would have been done a lot faster...Who did you guys beat it with?

I beat it with Liu, and yea I heard Scorpion sayin bi*** in level 9. Nice find, and I'm surprised it took so long to find.

on xbox,the game freezes when its loading level 4..... :(

I know!! It's extremely depressing, I have to go get the PS2 version and play throught that whole fucking thing just to get it! I hate this shit. Edit: Is there something you have to have completed? I'm glad I checked here about the Xbox version, I was going to buy another one! I guess I'm going to get it on PS2. That's not bad, since the Xbox version kinda gets a low frame rate on the first level. (Which I did not see during the videos). Plus, you guys can do Fatalities, Multalities and Brutalities AFTER the second level, its kind of nice. Thats how I beat the second level. Third level was easy since I took the sword (on the left side) then entered the green spark-thingy.

X-box pal got MKII, so ps2 has survival mode. In most cases MKII would be more usefull or has a higher value to it then survival mode. So stop whining.

Anyway, I remember every time I started a new game I would have to do the final three battles twice because it always froze during loading for khan. But when I tried it a second time it worked fine. Maybe that's what you need to do. Try it more than once. Some DVDs don't let you skip the previews the first time you watch it, things like this can happen.

This just made me think, the way that if survival mode is supposed to be boss rush mode and the other messages after you die had a secret meaning, whats R1,L1,R2,L2. I know this was a cheat in Trilogy? but I think that it could be something.

After having the game freeze on me while pausing in level 7, I'm more convinced than ever that this is incomplete and that we weren't meant to find this.

Does the R1/L1 code refer to the codes to immediately unlock scorpion/sub-zero or mkii?

When you use Scorpion's Toasty Fatality, if you hold all shoulder buttons and up then press start, you hear the "Toasty!" from MKII and such.

Also, to a poster up there: PS2 has MKII, but not in the PAL version.
