That's what I said. I have the PS2 NSTC version and not ONE glitch in this mode happened to me.

I ment it was glitchy for the xbox. Mine only froze once after a multality.

Well, it took me all weekend, but I finally beat Survival with Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Liu Kang and Kung Lao.

Scorpion - 118%
Sub-Zero - 117%
Kung Lao - 116%
Liu Kang - 115%

alright, i did the first three levels of survival mode but after level three, my game freezes up everytime.

WHAT DO I DO!!!???

It is most irritating and i would like to finish survival mode at some point. If anyone else has had troule let me know and if it can be fixed how do i fix it?

I found a shorter way.
I dunno if anybody knew this already.

Get Axe.
Get in and out of the lava in the hidden room.
Go to room to the right of the save statue, smash the barrel there.
Go up the ramp and to the left with the two barrels and smash the right barrel. (not the smashers area)
Then go to the area with the Nitara weapons and smash the barrel on the right.
Then go back to that ramp area and hit the ground.

Damn, you beat me to it! I just did it yesterday. I think you can just hit the ground after you smash the barrel on the bottom floor, the right barrel in the nitara room, and the right barrow next to the ramp.

This goes to anyone whose XBOX messed up, were there MAJOR chunks of your levels missing? I though level two was Noob Saibot's Dojo or something because it was so black. I saw the videos and his levels were complete, and he was using the PS2. So, does anyone else have this problem, or is it me? I did order the game from an online rental service, to that might be it.

Has anyone done survival mode with characters like Jax or Baraka yet?

How is that possible when you can only play as Kang, Lao, Zero or Scorpion. Unless you used a cheat.

Someone at the Midway boards beat the Survival Mode with Kitana and the percentage went up by like 16 percent.

There should be questions asked at E3 concerning the problems X-box users are experiancing.

from the video i se scorpion didnt do much same as ermac

reptile managed to swip liu's legs a few times and to me looked like sub zero coused the biggest problems

They all fuck you over. Some games one may fuck wit you more then the other but I love the challenge. I know I will beat it sooner or later. When I find enought time to play it.

iv got the xbox version, all my levels r normal wit no glitches but i cant seem 2 get past lvl3, it crashes on the way 2 lvl4. How many ppl ave completed survival mode using the xbox??

Ermac>sub-zero>scorpion>reptile

I would say ermac causes the most problems because he can use all of his specials from anywhere, even off-screen. Sub-zero always freezes you while being comboed.. allowing you to be comboed even more. Reptile is pretty much usless.

By the way, the easiest way to access survival mode is to:

-lava jump

-bottom floor barrel

-nitara room right barrow

-hit the floor

No charging is neccissary(sp?)

That has to be the final way of doing it lol

why does it freeze during level 4 loading on xbox?

The X-Box's survival mode is glitched,it can only go up to level 3 and then freezes during level 4's loading. You can beat the whole survival mode on PS2 though.
