Anyway... To add my opinion...

I'm still surprised at how primitive-minded some people are.

I think it's fine to have homosexual characters in any video game. I mean, they are a different type of people, just like blacks, hispanics, asians, men, women, etc.

People make such a big "hell no" deals out of it for immaturity reasons.

And yeah, like many people have said, if a gay character emerges, its not like he's gonna be performing sexalities or anything. It'll just be a small portion of his/her storyline.

We have gay and bi superheroes (who don't rape the first package that comes along, btw), so gay video game characters seems absolutely fine to me.

I don't think it'll happen with MK though. It certainly could though. Who knows.

And I also think people are obsessed with talking about gays because... They're so freakin' hot!!!

Anyway, what we need is more gays in the media so that people don't act all shocked over ideas like these. Could people imagine black superheroes in the 1940's? But now that they're everywhere, it's no shock to anyone. I think gays should be treated that way too, or else we'll never really get this "It's wrong to be gay" notion out of some people's heads.

So being gay make you a rapist? Such moronic people on these forums.

I'm all for a gay character, as long as it's not a stereotypical thing. They'd need a serious storyline. I think it should be a girl, too, because a male would be too obvious.

But anyway, this thread is stupid and old and should be closed. And I mean it is stupid because of the stupid people posting inside.

It really shouldn't matter if there are or aren't gays in MK, but for the sake of the franchise, MK should remain gay-less.

We ARE society, hon. As you can see, lots of people wouldn't mind a gay character.

Gays become more accepted as the years go by. Look at the success of Brokeback Mountain. Sure there were people who dismissed it, but because it became a huge hit, it shows society has grown up a bit.

A gay character wouldn't affect MK in any serious way. Not in this day and age where homosexuals storm the media and porn industry.
