Why the hell is LI MEI in MK6?!?!?!

I don't understand why she is significant enough to be in MKD. Mavado is excused because he has this relationship going on, Frost is excused too, heck even Master Cho is excused but LI MEI?! WHY OH WHY?! I have no idea what role can she play in MKD, she is practically useless to the plot and looks too similar to existing female fighters.

Li Mei would've been better off in the body of a DKUA soldier. I mean, perhaps one of the undefeatable army was a general and a very loyal servant to the DK and as a twist his body would be inhabited by Li Mei.

It's true she isn't that good. I would have liked to see her spot go to someone more deserving of returning like Jade or Sonya or Sheeva maybe.

There has been no word on Li Mei in MKD, besides, she had almost no roll or storyline in MKDA so whats the chance of her being in MKD?

Correct, except for the story. Plus she is one of the first female characters in Mortal Kombat to not be wearing a bathing suit or spandex gym clothes. =P

Seriously though, she has a solid design and obviously the MK Team saw a need for her to return so just be patient and see why she has returned. It's probably for a cool reason and heck, if you actually give her a chance she might be one of your favorite characters in Deception.

Then again, I'm just speculating so shoot me.. =/

I feel the exact opposite. Li Mei is actually a very good fighter if used by the right person. Her design was also very fresh and original. Her story was decent, not the best, not the worst. And i completely disagree about her being a "filler" character. The only "filler" in MKDA is Mokap.

Li Mei's story didn't really take off, but I think it planted the seeds of her origin. I think we will see Li Mei really become something good in Deception (if she's in, which I hope she's not).

Hsu Hao isn't a filler character either. He had a great storyline in MKDA, and I would rather see him return to MKD instead of Li Mei.

I think she was mediocre in all aspects, but I personally really don't see a reason for her coming back now that we have Milleena....I'm not against, or for her...But I think the void she would leave could be better filled with maybe Jade or someone along those lines.

Le mei was alright good design(funny part in the making of mkda video where they zoomed in on...nvm it's sick and wrong), and had decent moves and just close the thread plz
