Ed Boon hasn't once confirm that Noob-Smoke would return, but neither did deny it.

If you ever looked at the early version of the deception.
Noob Saibot and Smoke had there own slot before it changed.
All i'm saying is the demo doesn't confirm anything.
Even the avaliable line up from the start is bound to change just like deception.

I don't believe in Petitions, but in the E3 MKO interview with boon, boon said that MAYBE the Mk board will think it over ( they aren't the exact words, but it is something like that)

so far ive read more people want them seperated then together there was a poll on mkarmageddon.com if noob and smoke should be seperated or together and it was around 76% they wanted them seperated i personally want them seperated i was never a big fan of smoke. i think someone needs to contact midway or boon and tell them we want noob and smoke seperated.

Anyway, it seems Boon was asked about this yet again in another interview recently, with the interviewer saying "Please say yes they are (seperate)."
Frankly, this is what, three, four times he's been asked about this post-E3? I thnk that between that, the midway board poll, the fan demand...he'd be hard-pressed NOT to separate them. It is, after all, what we want...

Total MK's interview was too noisy, if was hard to make out! But they hint that they might do both or they weren't sure!

noob
costume: alt from MKD
alt costume: grim reaper
stance: monkey
weapon: scythe
specials:
fireball and downward air fireball
teleport slam- should bounce enemy, cant be done in air
air throw- similar to cyrax's from MK3
smoke
costume: alt from MKD
alt costume: human form
stance: whatever he had in MKD
weapon: darth maul type double-light-saber
--cyrax has one, sektor has 2 smaller ones, smoke has a dual
specials:
smokescreen
inviso/darkness
smokycut
trident spear
i think the reason noob could go invisible was becasue smoke had a projectile, even tho noob popped u to throw them. so noob got inviso.

I'm praying that they will be seperate.......or atleast give us the option to have them seperate.
Also, hopefully they don't get lazy and make them keep the same exact moves, even if there seperate. It could happen but IMO, Noob could have way sicker moves; Smoke too.

Why are Noob and Smoke together in the first place? Here's my guess. It was just a cheap way to throw them both into Deception at the last minute. Well, now, Midway, you can finish what you started and make them fully realized characters. It really sucks the tag team way because Noob Saibot has always been my favorite character and in Deception, he loses all his moves and only gets one fighting style. I like Noob the way he was in MK Trilogy- pitch black and kickass. And why must we only have two costumes per character? If this is supposed to be the final and ultimate Mortal Kombat, all the characters should get all their classic costumes back. (Except for Reptile's lizardman look, it really sucks ass)
