Noob saibot in my need to be seperated. It's Cheesy 2 on 1. They need to bask in their own glory, not as a tag team. And Smoke Needs His Human Costume (MKSM).

To Vasculio: It's Ninjutsu, not Ninjitsu. Ninjitsu is the erroneous romanji spelling used by frauds like Ashida Kim and Frank Dux. What's wrong with Noob Saibot using Monkey, especially Tall Monkey? If you're suggesting Dragon for Noob, how does that suit him?
I don't think Monkey should be used by Liu Kang or Shujinko. I think Liu Kang is fine with Jun Fan and Shujinko should either keep Mantis or he should use Pai Mei.
Again, we'll just agree to disagree on the whole MKT Teleport Slam issue. I think it's fine as it is, but you don't.
To Solstar82: I don't think Smoke should have his "harpoon", but that's just me.

Lets agree, to disagree!

noob and smoke are some of my top characters thats why I was exited getting mk deception but then I unlocked them in the krypt and I was extremely chuffed they were a tag team and for two characters like that I think they should have made a lot more impact an yes I think smoke should have his ninja form back he was cool and the cyborg things getting old so if midway separate them it will make it another reason for me to buy the game
I won't be let down if Noob-Smoke returns. In MK:D I found them rather fun to play as but I can see where most of the fans are coming from. If this is their last game then personally I believe that the characters should operate on their own. But I feel that what I say won't happen. I think that the new game is going to be similar to MK: Trilogy and have all the characters return from the previous games with only slight and mild modifications to them.

I really don't care if their seperate or not. I just want both of them to have their own endings, not just one like in deception. I know that their endings will be tied together but at least let us see it from the character's point of view. It would'nt hurt for them to have seperate bios aswell.
on the darkened screen, there is noob smoke. however there is also 2 cobras. so there is a chance that the final project will use the noob smoke screen as noob and the extra cobra as smoke or the other way around. and if someone already said that, sorry.

Although Smoke is listed as "good" in his MKD trading card bio, I'd personally say he's more of a neutral character.
Either way, you forget that Noob Saibot programmed Smoke to be under his control. Your reasoning for wanting them to be seperated doesn't have much (or any) logic to it.

Logic has nothing to do with wanting Noob Saibot and Smoke being separated.
You forget! In Ashrah's ending Smoke tries to fight his programing like what Robocop and RoboCable did in Robocop: Prime Directives.
Like Shujinkos quote "Maybe there is still some good left in the old cyborg!? Noob Saibot will have to fight this battle alone"

I'm pretty sure they'll be together. When I watched one of those videos I thought I say two shadows of characers together in one box.

Yes, I'm aware of that. However, the way he worded his reasoning didn't make much sense.

I want them apart. As for moves, they should both get their MKT moves back, but they just need to make sure Noob isn't super broken like in MKT.
Smoke's Moves:
Smokey Cloud
Harpoon (Have him say "Come Here!" in a robot voice, because it's different from Scorpion, but it's still similar)
Teleport Punch (We Live from MKD)
Invisibility
Noob Saibot's Moves:
Dark Cloud (Only disables blocking and special moves, not regular moves)
Teleport Slam
Clone Throw
Shurikens

Well, folks. It looks like we got our wish.
The two as of this time seem to be a dynamic duo no more, perhaps in part to the multiple questions submitted to Ed about it.
Stil, I wonder if this thread may have had anything to do with it...maybe someone was reading, and saw the demand. You never know.
As one of the biggest questions about MKA has now been answered, this thread has served its purpose, so I'm going to go ahead and close it now.
I'm so happy.
