I can't believe this shit. Liu Kang DIED an uber dramatic death yet we see his ass return as Liu Kang's spirit! Why can't they keep the f*cker dead already.

Why did they bring back Bo Rai Cho and leave out Kung Lao, how about QUAN CHI!!! Whatever happened to Kitana and Shang Tsung? Why Li Mei? Why Tanya? I can understand Tanya returning since she is Edenian and the story takes place in Edenia but really, there is nothing special about Li Mei.

And why do they include The custom character that you create among the 8 new characters, meaning we only get 7 new characters. I feel so cheated that NONE of my favorite characters are making it in. I also feel so cheated by the fact that there are SO MANY NINJAS, I don't care if they all look different now they are ninjas. We see N00b, Ermac, Sub Zero, Scorpion and NOW Smoke (http://img1.imageshack.us/img1/6631/mkd1.jpg) makes an appearance!!!

This is so sad. Where are the badass classic villains that we have come to love.

Though I like Hotaru but the rest of the new charactersseem like recycled characters. Ashrah is Raiden 2, Skab is MEAT + Drahmin, Kano Girl... WHATEVER! And I won't even comment on Ken Masters... I like the idea that Midway are killing off characters to make way for new ones but you're killing off waaay too many, waaay too fast. Scorpion is back but where the fuck is QUAN CHI?!?!?!

I really hope this is all one big deception and they have better characters in store for us cuz I see no plot significance for more than half of the characters. Given, I don't know the plot but if we're picking up where MKDA left off then everything makes no sense.

Why do people have a problem with so many ninjas in the game?As for Tanya and some of the charcters for MK4 I'll give them another chance.Since everyone in MK4 had the same exact combo and moves.Now they can go way beyond that now.I always thought Liu Kang was ok I liked him in MK1 and MK2 but I started to dislike him in MK3 for some reason.How do you know the charcters are copies of old charcters?Ashrah looks like Raiden but I dont think she is just a straight copy of Raiden.I bet after MKD comes out then a new MK is revealed people are going to be begging for the new charcters that were in MKD. Now I see what Ed Boon and Company are trying to do with MKD.Their trying to make this MK for the long time fans and for brand new fans.Most of the people who play MK will say the ninjas are their favs(including myself).And for the people who think MKDA was the first MK their adding new charcters for them.Then that way both sides get what they want.If Scorpion wasnt in MKD and was only in Konquest I would be happy to see him even if he isnt playable.

Wait for an offical list of characters from Midway before you go shitting your pants. Tanya isn't confirmed, Liu kang's spirit isn't confirmed, and Kano-girl is too stupid....but then again I never thought I'd see a Babality.....

Whoa! First I think you need to take a second and breath. smile LOL. Look I understand your frustration ok, I mean how do you think I feel Sonya still isn't confirmed and she is my best and most favorite character. If those are really the confirmed characters then yes some of them, I think, are not so good. I will not even touch the Ken Masters situation. But like was said above, that characters returning from MK4 could turn out really great now that the 3 fighting styles thing allows for some individuality. So I am willing to give these characters a second chance. Bottom line is that there is still a long way to go and there could still be many changes made, so don't give yourself an annurism(Sp?) ok? smile

I have no problem with the Ninjas. I love the guys but I do have a problem with the fact that there are a buttload of ninjas filling in spots that could be filled by non-ninja characters.

Our forum insiders confirm that many of the characters listed on the german site are indeed in the game.

Why is QUAN CHI not in the game! This is so fucked up. Isn't Baraka's story revolving around him protecting Quan Chi and Mileena (Someone promised her the kingdom of Edenia in return) trying to kill Quan Chi thus has to kill Baraka (her husband) too.

It's always this way... They make us think that this will be the best damn MK game ever only to disappoint us by making a really stupid mistake.

I love speculation as much as the next guy, but I have no "insider." I do believe Konqrr when he gives information because so far he has been correct, but he's the only insider that I know of, and even Konqrr doesn't answer my questions directly. Now I'm not saying that "Schindler's List" is incorrect, because I have no idea about anything involved with Deception unless it is given to me through a magazine or a website. However, if Schindler's List is in fact correct, then I'll be complaining right along side you.

I think someone(maybe the dragon king)killed the Deadly Alliance and took over.So maybe that stage with the beatles on the ground used to be Quan Chi's fortress and its now The Dragon King's.

I want lui kang to come back into kanos body.. well well! so u did like lui.. all these topics had to be notice... they said his spirit.. they didn't said how it was going to be implimeted..

remember a spirt can't hurt the living... so mabe it just a cameo for the ending.. or mabe a cut sceen... just wait till e3 comes.. see the new chars... and then wine.. but by far just...

This is starting to sound like a REALLY late april fool's joke, because its all just way too lame to be true....
And where exactly is all this new info coming from? I haven't seen anything official, all I see is about 20 posts on the front of the board all asking who the black ninja is. Could someone link this sudden surge of new information?

I TOTALLY agree with Daemos, where the hell is QUAN CHI??? It is not just about him being one of my favorites, but not only he is a popular character he would also have an important role to play in the storyline.

I mean he could side with the Dragon KING and control his army, kill everybody who is loyal to shang tsung etc... and I agree about Sonya too, she is my other favorite character

But it is not just about them not looking to be in the game but more about WHO they decide to put instead...

Li Mei-Tanya...they should have put only one of those 2 worthless characters, not both of them...

Bo Rai Cho, true he is original, from outworld, he is a big fat character that Ed Boon like, but he still sucks in my eyes, I didn't use him in MKDA, I don't want to be force to ignore him again in MKD

Liu Kang spirit...do I even have to comment...

Smoke, I like him but MKD is starting to look like MKTrilogy, an invasion of ninjas from every color

Yes Quan Chi is gone so it seems. Scorpion is there. It obviously means his story is has changed and is changing this should change a few peoples opinions on his story and him. He's no stale character now

scorpion is now out to get revenge on the easter bunny for not giving him candy as a child..lol oh and the dragon king has probally killed quan chi or has him as a prisoner and has the amulet now......

I am willing doing the same, but i am still disappointed with the character list from the german psm magazine.

WTF, Lui Kang?!furious I liked the fact he was dead. Because after mk2, it was always "oh were in trouble. But don't worry, Lui will take of this one, like the last one, and the one before that, and the one before...."
Then MKDA, Lui Kang was killed. Now there is worry about Earthrealm because they have to relay on themselves, not Lui Kang.

But with the list of characters returning, it just seems instead of making a good story, they are only going by fan vote.

There's a German PSM saying what characters are in MKD. It's really fucked up if you read it.
