DS should never be mentioned here. Same goes for PSP. That's because those 2 bitches are nothing more than supplement. And I still can't believe any REAL gamer would rather a Wii over PS3 and 360. And even though it's cheaper, I used my 360 for more than just gaming. It was my entertainment one-stop shop. It plays my DVD, streams music and video from my PC, I've sat friends down a number of show them my photo albums via the console. That alone justifies the price difference. And the last thing, Online gaming means everything to me. If that wasn't the case I would have struck with my Dreamcast.

I didn't read all this stuff but i want to stick up for the ps3...I feel that its true potential will arise soon. The blue ray is of the chain. IT looks better than HD IMO. My buddy has a ps3 and he bought 300 blue ray and that was the best time i even had watching a movie.

Plus you will have plenty of people to play online with the ps3. we have never played anyways. and probably never will so you might as well get a ps3.

The only reason i will get a 360 is because of price...i can't afford a ps3.

Really, most lag depends on how the game developers make it, gamespy did not cause MKA to lag, the creators did, proof? Play MKA on xbox live and then PS2 online, you can get away with the same stuff.

Ummm, from a gameplay point of view it is the most realistic tennis game and that is FACT. I suggest you do your homework before posting ignorant, false bs. My views are based off hands on experience as in hours of playing the game.

Wii sucks in terms of functionality when compared to the other 2 consoles. I mean it can't even play DVDs which one would think is the simplest of things yet it sells for $250. We're in 2007 people soon to be 2008. I expect my console to be able to offer me more than gaming. I want a centralized entertainment system.

Wii sucks, i had one and sold it, the motion controls dont always work correctly, the graphics are subpar, the game selection is terrible, the online is the worst of the three.

-Decent amount of online games
-Free online play
-Solid Online Play (Resistance plays well online)
-Blu-Ray Player (I saw Ice Age at a store on Blu Ray and my eyes had an orgasm...)
-Very good controller for fighting games (unless you count the triggers)
-supports your PS2/PS1 games
-Good price for what you get (since your a online player, you will end up saving more money than on the 360)

Fuck the PS3. Too overpriced, sucky titles, just friggin ports at the moment. No PS2 Compat on 40Gb models. (60gb getting phased out) No hacks available yet . Online sucks compared to 360. Too ugly and big and so what it has a blu-ray player.

Decent amount of arcade titles. Umk3, SF2T and others
Great AAA Titles
Hackable (firmware mods to boot backups)
Great Divx, avi, mpeg support with latest dash update and codec patch.
Plus you can boot downloaded 720-1080P HD rips converted to WMV. No need for the HD drive add-on

Overall, a better system and the only thing that lets it down is the fail rate (3 red lights ring of death) is very common. However the Elites have a extra heat sink and some with the falcon, which run cooler and quieter.

They made a game or (not sure if it's out yet actually) but during the E3 thing this year they had a Ninja Gaiden game for the DS that looked pretty cool actually, but not sure if it's out yet or going to come out.

Was never a fan of NG though, originally it was out for Nintendo anyway on the good old NES. Still sells for big money on ebay to this day

the motion controller was first used on the playstation. there were a couple games that used it, it just didnt become popular like the wiimote did. so if you wanna get technical Nintendo stole the idea from the PS.

PS2 online wasnt hosted by PLAYSTATION. game developers had to make/get their own servers.

the PS3 server is just like xboxs.
