No, because people don't post anything worth any DPs except for maybe a few people who actually work to make something cool. I haven't seen an awesome thread or a post with really good content on this site for a very long time. The only threads being made is forum filler threads, because there is nothing interesting to chat about. The only interesting stuff going on here is the small pieces of Injustice news we get and Riyakou's fan-made character themes, imo.

MKO has become a time-killer forum, a place you go to when you got nothing else to do.

Yeah, it's an MK website and there's really not a whole lot of MK-related stuff to talk about. NRS is working on Injustice and while I want to be hyped for that game, everything that I've seen so far looks good, but not "I need to play that right now" good.

So I think that most MK fans are off the map at the moment, and less people means less posts, less DP-worthy posts or threads etc. It would be kinda cool if people just got points for making good arguments, throwing out good idea etc regardless of the thread, but obviously that's left up to the discretion of others and I'm certainly cool with that.

I just hope it picks up a lot more around these here parts once the next MK is announced... Whenever that'll be.

You might as well take away DPs and the ranking system since DPs are non existent anymore. You can't get DPs for fun anymore. It's strictly MK related. And even when a new MK game comes out and we bust out news, we still won't get shit.

I don't think they should take it away, as there still are a few people who deserve DPs for their good work. Again mentioning Riyakou's Injustice character themes which I personally enjoy to listen to, but also because he's put some hard work into making those.

When the only people getting DPs are the ones in Fan Submission, the system is broken.

Handing out DPs was reduced to make them feel more meaningful. However, if they're never given out, then they still aren't worth anything. I see it as a good idea taken too far. Especially so when skulls are even more arbitrary than they were when I was on staff, and it wasn't great back then either.

Trying to find a second job. Some people come across it much easier than myself, and that can be quite frustrating.

Weather sucks. In Ohio, it's sunny, but cold as balls, and I have to go to football practice in about 45 minutes. And on a holiday off. It really sucks.
