Yeah, I keep thinking about it, not wanting to believe. Eddie looked great, as people have said. I told my father and he was like "wtf," too. Even told my mother and she almost cried. It's interesting because Eddie did a great job of connecting with the audience. It was like he was a family member or buddy, even though you never met him.
A sad day, indeed. My prayers are with his loved ones.
Edit: Damnit...I'm really going to miss him

They say parting is such a sweet sorrow, but his death was rather too soon to be expected. I used to be a huge fan of wrestling, and I kinda liked Eddie. Too bad to see him gone, it really is.
But he will live on in all of our hearts.

Man, I can't believe it. I was logging onto NationStates (in a wrestling place) and it said "Eddie Gurrero has passed away". He's only 38!
Anyway, maybe it's drugs, but maybe someone poisoned him... He wasn't carrying any drugs.

It was actually heart failure....Chavo Guerrero stated that he's been off drugs for 4 years on the 15th. WWE did have a show planned for tonight so they made it a tribute show, with no storylines at all.

So people WILL get hurt?
I heard this and I cried.
It's like a member of my extended family died. I followed his career for about 10 years, i'm still in shock, it's just crazy.
He was the best today. THE best. As a total package, he was better than Angle, better than Malenko, better than Jericho, better than Benoit, better than Styles, better than Triple H. Even though that showed in WWE where he would carry useless nobody's to great matches and never fail to make everybody laugh, his true technical skill was rarely seen. He could wrestle any style, any time, and switch between them like it was nothing, while making everybody hate him or laugh their asses off at him.
I just watched TNA Genesis and from the anti-WWE crowd, there were a lot of "Eddie" chants, signs, and announcers and wrestlers paid tribute to him. The Dudley's even had his name written on their wrist tape in the main event.
Even though he's been clean for a few years, all the substance abuse had to have taken it's toll on his body. I suspect that's what did him in so early. It's a shame. A damn shame. He put so much effort into overcoming all his problems throughout all these years, then just as he finally put it all in his past, he had everything yanked out from underneath him and that was it. It just isn't fair.

I wrote this in the Offical Wrestling thread:
I just found out about a hour ago, (It's 1:10 a.m.here in Texas), and I'm still Shock about what happen. I thought it was some kind of stupid Storyline.
The last match I seen Eddie was at No Mercy. I said this even before I knew his Death, His match at No Mercy was one of the best Matches this year, at least top Ten this year so far! So I'm Honor to see Eddie in at a PPV match, I just wish it wasn't his last!!!!!!
So THANK YOU Eddie for all the Glory Years, You are The Real Deal!!!!!

My thoughts exactly. In my heart of hearts I truly believe Eddie has stayed clean and that his sudden death was brought on by the damage he did to his body with the drugs years ago.
When a legend dies it's sad, yes, but it's somewhat easy to handle. But when we lose active guys like Owen Hart, Chris Candido and now Eddie Guerrero it hurts so much more.
After finding out about Eddie I figured I'd watch TNA's Genesis to try to clear my mind and I was proud to see that so many people paid they're respects. We lost more than a great performer. We lost a great man, husband, father, and friend.

It's so sad. I feel for his friends and family.
I think we need to worry less about how Eddie passed away and more on what he has acomplished in his life.
What is your favourite Eddie Guerrero moment ?
Mine was WrestleMania XX when he and Chris Benoit celebrated together in the ring after Eddie defended his championship and Chris Benoit won his.
RIP

Its a shame. Someone who worked so hard to clean up his act only to have his life cut short.
I'm sad right now because I don't even think I ever seen him at an event I went to. I along with others will miss him

RIP and God Bless Eddie Guerrero! Viva La Raza!

According to the local morning radio shows and newspapers (I live in Minneapolis, where Eddie was found Sunday morning) he had stopped to have breakfast with Chavo and one other wrestler, went up to his room to finish getting ready, and never came back down. He didn't answer his phone, so hotel security broke through the door. They found him face down with his toothbrush still in his mouth. It will be a couple of weeks before toxicology can confirm whether or not anything was in his system, but as of right now, all signs point to sudden heart failure/cardiac arrest.
When a 38-year-old man in the physical condition Eddie was in suddenly dies, you can bet the autopsy will be as thorough as possible.
RIP Eddie, we'll miss you.

Yeah, XX was great. There are so many moments; he put on a show every damn night. I really enjoyed some of those video segment skits where he and Chavo would lie, cheat and steal.

I found out about 5 minutes ago at this time of the tragic, shocking loss of the WWE's greatest wrestlers has passed on... The WWE wasn't the same with out you man... Lets just hope your death was of natural causes... And hope your children grow up to carry on your name... Your passion... Your Love for wrestling & the WWE & sorts entertainment... Your soul... I'm sure he has a good view of the WWE arena in the place above. My thoughts and deepest prayers are with his family and freinds... Rest In Peace ~ Eduardo Gory Guerrero. Viva La Raza, Viva La Eddie !!! ...
