Natural causes at 38? Natural causes at 38 is to be alive, go home and be with your kids and tell them you love them.

When I heard about this I was in complete shock and I still am because he looked perfectly fine 3 days ago on Smackdown. My mum was in complete shock. As said before Raw tonight and Smackdown on Friday will be tribute shows to the great man.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

From: ESPN.com

MINNEAPOLIS -- There were no immediate signs of foul play in the death of a World Wrestling Entertainment star whose body was found in a Minneapolis hotel room, authorities said.

An autopsy to determine how 38-year-old Eduardo Gory Guerrero died was planned for Monday. On its Web site, the Stamford, Conn.-based WWE said Guerrero's body will then be flown to Phoenix and funeral arrangements are set for Wednesday in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Guerrero, a featured star on the UPN show "WWE Smackdown!", was in Minneapolis for a Sunday night WWE show at Target Center.

Authorities said Guerrero didn't respond to a wake-up call Sunday morning. His nephew, fellow WWE wrestler Chavo Guerrero, and hotel security at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center forced their way into the room and found the 5-foot-8, 220-pound wrestler on the floor. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.

His nephew said Guerrero was open about past drug and alcohol abuse but had been sober for four years. Guerrero was married and had three children.

"This is a huge loss," said WWE chairman Vince McMahon. "Eddie was a wonderful, fun-loving human being. Eddie was a consummate performer."

Guerrero was a son of Mexican wrestler Gory Guerrero.

In February 2004, Guerrero became the second wrestler of Hispanic heritage to be WWE champion when he defeated Brock Lesnar, a former University of Minnesota wrestling standout. Guerrero lost the title four months later.

In May 2004, UPN aired the special "Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story." The one-hour program chronicled his childhood and his struggle with drug addiction that almost cost him his job, family and life before his recovery and eventual capture of the WWE championship.

Guerrero grew up in El Paso, Texas. He and his three older brothers were all wrestlers.

Raw's about ended over here. I saw some of the things said by the wrestlers (whoa, Stephanie's a semi-blonde or something now?), and believe it or not, it actually touched me. From Rey Mysterio taking off his mask to even Triple H shedding a few, it was nice to see them all gather to pay respect to a man so deserving.

I've been watching WWE off and on now, but I watched Raw today for Eddie, and I plan to do the same for Smackdown later this week.

I've turned my back on the wrestling world over the past 6 months, but I was a big fan of Eddie's while I did watch wrestling. I sincerely mourn his death and wish his family all the best.

Rest in Peace Eddie........

It is disgusting to blame Eddie in any way... how could you think he'd intentionally want to die? He was in the prime of his life... not to mention his career. He was the one who was robbed most of all... I can understand being selfish enough to want him back with us, but this goes far beyond that... it also isn't wise to speculate his cause of death, especially when he had been clean for nearly four years now.

Look, Everyone.... I'm sorry..... I wasn't blameing him for his death..... I'm really sorry that he is gone, I was just a big fan of his. I didn't know he was clean for 4 years.... I thought he just recently got off of em'. See I don't look to much into wrestler's personal profiles I just watch them do what they do best..... And Eddie did that better than anyone IMO............ But anyway I'm sorry everyone, for being an ass.....sad

Do you all forgive me?

Don't worry about it, it's cool. You didn't mean any harm. It's over.

Has anybody seen his autobiography Cheating Death, Stealing Life? Is it a DVD worth buying?

I've seen the TV version, I'm not sure if its different from the DVD, though. It is worth buying if it's anything like the TV version. I actually went out today to buy it, but it was on back order from suncoast - at least in my area. I'm going to head out again tomarrow after class to see if I can snag a copy.

for all those who want to know or haven't found out yet the cause of death was heart failure. It was from his past – the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. The examiner said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and that’s what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.

As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadn’t hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasn’t feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasn’t feeling good and we thought it was just “road tired.” So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard.

He will be missed by many. I use to enjoy watching him back in the WCW Days. I watched Smackdown last night and it looked like Angle, Benoit and Rey took his passing the hardest. sad
