I can understand what you're all saying about the PS3. I'm both a Nintendo & a Sony fan, as I don't want neither of them to drop out of the gaming business. As far as Microsoft, their systems are good, but they just doesn't have that many great games on them. So far, the only games that interest me on those systems are the Dead Or Alive series, the Ninja Gaiden series, & the Halo series (& of course, some of the online playable games that we'll be getting on the 360 real soon, like Pac-Man & UMK3). So far, I kind of like Microsoft for their compuers, that's it. Oh, & real Sony fans wouldn't be complaining about the things on it, like the prices & stuff. They would just be saving up for it & appreciate it like me & everyone else.

I do agree, the PS3 is a bit pricey, but it's what you get for better quality. In a couple years, I bet they'll all be down $150 dollars. At least that's what I'm waiting for. The truth behind the matter is all of the next-gen consoles are overpriced. Most of them do things with Hi-Def, etc., that people really don't have equipment for, but yet they are still paying for it. I kinda wish that people would just stop the console wars altogether. It's pointless - they're games. I do have to admit though, I'm not the biggest fan of XBOX. Sure the first had good graphics, but no good games at all. The only ones that ever caught my interest were like DOA and a few others. No Halo wasn't one of them. Really, I don't believe that game was all that good on the whole. Sure, multiplayer online was great. Other than that, I didn't see anything else it offered that another game couldn't. And XBOX360, the graphics are good, but from what I've seen they don't come close to the PS3. Maybe they will in the future, but now the PS3 opening line-up is really strong, much stronger than what I saw from the 360. Same for Nintendo. I'm a huge Nintendo fan, but from what I saw from the new Super Smash Bros., the graphics really aren't all that great. On the whole, I don't care at all about specs. If it looks good, and the games do too, that's all I care about. Right now, PS3 leads in both those factors in my opinion. But everyone has the right to give their own thoughts.

See, what I don't understand is how everyone is now saying "well, the price is worth it because of the PS3's power." If power is so valuable then why didn't the Xbox blow away the PS2?

Also, the PS3 at $150? Well, maybe. Hopefully. But if Sony follows the same price drop trend it had during the PS1 and PS2 eras, then by 2012 the PS3 will be about $425.

I didn't say $150, I said it will probably drop $150 or something around there.

I'd like to know what looks so strong to you with the pS3 line up? It look absolutely week to me. Ressistance Fall of Man is the only solid title. Mostly everything else is a port from EA of thier sports games, Smackdown vs Raw will probably be the same as the 360 version, Full Auto 2? I wouldn't waste my money on a game from a developer that abandonded support of the fist title, and also falsely advertised thier main feature. Rewinding time isn't even available in online play. Gran Turismo HD is nothing more that an HD Gran Turismo 4 with online play, and didn't the developer promise online play in Gran Turismo 4 to begin with?

Mostly everything the pS3 has that I'm looking forward to is coming out next year which isn't a lot to begin with: Tekken 6, Virtua Fighter 5, MGS4, Assassin's Creed (this will most likely be showing up on multi-platform anyway), Heavenly Sword, KillZone 2.

Are you kidding me? Dark Sector, Devil May Cry 4, The Getaway 3, Resistance, Killing Day, Killzone, MGS4, Possession - need I name more? And others like Heavenly Sword, Tekken, and Motorstorm follow shorty thereafter. Besides that, I'm not getting a PS3 straight away. It'll be a year at least before I acquire one. By then, even more great titles will be out. The only XBOX360 title that has interested me in the least was DOA4, other than that I sometimes even forget that the system is even available. Why aren't there or were any commericals for it? I don't even remember seeing any last holiday.

None of those PS3 games are launch titles though with the exception of Ressistance and possibly Motorstorm, and Gran Turismo HD is supposed to ship before chrismas, but still after launch. KillZone 2 was completely absen from E3 this past year, Tekken had a really crappy CG cut scene. Theres no way it's going to be read for launch IMO, and everthing else has been state as coming out next year like Devil may Cry, and MGS4.

You say the PS3 has a better launch line up, well as much as I'm looking forward to Ressistance I honestly don't think it will be as big of a launch game as Call of Duty 2 turned out to be for the 360. So I'm just curious how you view the PS3 as having such a killer launch line-up compared to the 360 when just about all the games are nothing but EA games from what I heard (10-15 launch games there saying for the PS3). I mean yeah your entitle to your owwn oppinion to not like the 360, but I find it a strech to claim the pS3 has a better launch line up than it from the way things look so far. Things can change and I certainly hope they do for the PS3 launch, but I honestly don't think it will.

Yeah im not getting a PS3 until mid to late 2007 because most of the games I want for it wont be out until sometime in 2007 or later like Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 5, Assasin's Creed, Grand Theft Auto IV, FFXIII, FF Versus XIII, Tekken 6, Virtua Fighter 5, Naughty Dog Project, and Eight Days. And yeah I know some of the games I mentioned are multi-plat. Im actually more interested in FF Versus XIII than I am about FFXIII.

Anyways, Im very interested in the Untitled Naughty Dog Project. It reminds me of Pitfall, only more action packed. The game's hero finds himself marooned on a lush, danger-packed jungle isle. You'll divide your time among tense platforming, combat (both hand-to-hand and weapon-based) and puzzle solving: yet everything stays firmly rooted in reality. "The coolest aspect of the game is our animation system, which allows realistic human characters to move in a believable manner but still offers complete controllability," says lead designer Evan wells. "Next-Generation animation systems will definitely make last-gen games look dated."

nah, haven't seen the new PS3 pad. I just read on gamasutra that the 360 is quite possibly going to drop in price for the holiday season. $299 for the base model. If true, that's awsome.

#1 - A new download for full Auto is on XBL Marketplace

#2 - They never advertised rewnd in online play. Besides, would you care to explain how that would happen without rewinding EVERYONE'S game in the process? Each time someone did the rewind online, everyone's game would rewind as well, and that would get hella annoying hella quick. I'm glad it's not in.

Nothing moe than 2 sets of gamer pics, 5 months after the game came out. Just sega trying to fidn a way to milk some more money out of the game I don't think that really counts as DLC either, games that don't even have DLC on thier packaging are releasing gamerpics, so that really shouldn't count.

Yeah I know rewinding time wouldn't make much sense online, but they could have come up something. Maybe you could rewind it it but it wouldn't rewind everyone elses, but instead of dying to everyone else in the match your could just keep going. IDK, but a anrea battle mode should have been mandatory for some online, and the PS3 version is getting it. I mean it'shouldn't be that hard to release a new mode via DLC GRAW did that. Even if it cost $10-$15 for the new mode, and like 5 arena maps, it would have been cool, but the developer are aren't and if it ever does make it's way to the 360 it will be int eh form of an entirely new game.

So, you're automatically assuming that, because there hasn't been much DLC since its release, that all support for the game is finished?

Do you have a link to the developers stating this, or are you just drawing assumptions? It took a good while for DLC to become available for Halo 2 (not counting bug fixes).

Also, understand that rewinding affects more than just the player...it affects the weapons that have been fired/placed on the track, along with the destruction caused by your wreck and the car placement of the opponents - that being another potential cause of a wreck. Rewinding affects the playfield for all the players. For this to be used properly in MP, it'll have to affect everyone's game. I don't see how that can work without fucking up everyone else's race.

Dude, are you kidding me? Are you seeing just what you want to see? The 360 graphics looke the EXACT same as PS3 graphics. Exact same. Funny thing too as that some games that are multiplatform will look better on the 360 like The Darkness will have better textures. I dont understand why some of you people fill the need to be system fanboys and stick with only one system and like someone else said "other sony fanboys shouldn't complain about the price and just be happy with what SOny gives us". Are you fucking kidding? That's the reason why companies make shitty games or shitty systems. They now their stupid mindless loyalists will buy it no matter what. The PS3 will be a great system and yes I will buy one when the good games come out but by all means it is not the second coming of christ. It is an Xbox 360 that can play Blu Ray movies and all you kids thinking the graphics will blow away the 360's are in for a huge dissapointment. As of right now, the 360 seems to be getting more and better exclusives, IMO, but the PS3 will have it's share down the road. Again, I truly feel sorry for those of you wearing 4D glasses and seeing only what you want when it isn't reality and I feel bad for those acting like you are on SOny's payroll and will not be getting other systems for the stupid fact you just dont like the other company. But you cant come up with a better reason even though you try and look foolish in the process. Some of you need to grow up and stop nut hugging certain companies and just play the damn games no matter what system they are on.
