For those who didn't know, MK is on the list.

And it looks like they are using specific titles from franchises rather than just saying the franchises. Like Silent Hill 2, or Resident Evil 1. Which is total bullshit because Resident Evil 2 blows RE1 out of the water.

Seriously, Wii Sports is higher than SH2? Like, seriously. Da fuck? My brain is full of fuck.

All of the video game lists I've seen always uses the entire series for a vote rather than one particular game. And it's really unusual how they use specific games for this list. I certainly do not see how Resident Evil 1 deserves to be that far up the list... As well as particular games that are amongst a very long series.

Then this obviously means Final Fantasy 7 will become a vote, since clearly people claim that's the best Final Fantasy game of all time. (I don't play the series, so i really wouldn't know, but with its constant appearance in a lot of lists, it's no wonder) It's just a perplexing thing to see... This list is really confusing, and I'm curious to see what's going to happen tomorrow.

I've also seen hints of Angry Birds in their little previews and ads. That means it's gonna be in the list, and it's gonna be higher than Silent Hill 2. There is no hope for the human race. Everyone just go home. Nothing to see here.

My brain just isn't comprehending this list. Is it a popularity contest? If so, the I could see why Words With Friends would be on this, as it's a cute little fad for the casual crowd or the habitual do-something that likes to have something to do while they wait for the train to arrive or whatever.

But as a best games of all time list? Or a Most Influential games list of all time, or anything that actually measures the quality of games throughout the history of the medium? Garbage like this and Angry Birds and Wii Sports... Ugh, give me a break.

Those barely qualify as video games. I think the worst part will come after the list is done and you realize what didn't even crack the top 100 while Wii Sports is ranked 84.

Hell, I'll bet Fruit Ninja makes this list while games like the new Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy IX, Twisted Metal Black, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver, Panzer Dragoon, Eternal Champions, Captain Skyhawk, WCW/NWO Revenge, Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey, Skies of Arcadia and so many others probably won't.

That's the big problem with lists like these. They have no respect for history. It's all newer crap, popular crap and some NES and Atari games thrown in to make it look like the people that made the list were born before 1990.

That said, I'm still interested in seeing what comes next, even if I know that at least half of the entries will make me want to put my head through a wall!

Yeah, as soon as I saw Pong being listed as 100 and Words with Friends being at 99, I'm like, "This list is going to suck major balls..." And they're not the good kind of balls either.

I don't really get how an app game is better than a game that is declared as the game that started it all. Pong helped defy video games to where they are today... And an app apparently just is better than it? Okay, okay.

Don't underestimate Angry Birds. It hit the one billion DL's milestone.
By this day I haven't downloaded it. But I don't blame people who have. Kids like it a lot. Anyway, the greatest video games of all time charts will probably never please everyone. Not me either. Lots of FPS games will certainly show up, namely Call of Duty. I wonder what will be the G4 #1.

I'm not going to underestimate Angry Birds at all because I honestly don't believe that any kind of app games should even be on this list. Unlike all these other games that they've been listing, there's honestly, nothing Angry Birds did that was new. It's not like no one could have thought about flinging things at something destructive. I believe we've all done something like that as little children, and probably still do so. Not to mention, I can beat Angry Birds within a day whereas Mortal Kombat 2011's story mode took me at least an entire week due to Kahn's inability to allow me to get a win within the first two rounds as Raiden.

No, and I'm still appalled by how Words with Friends is an actual game on this list. Just because you're an app game that's super popular doesn't mean that it's great.

Hearing a guy saying, "Mega Man 2... it's like a super hero game" ... Wow... To see Mortal Kombat, Wolfenstien, Mega Man and Star Fox this low on the list, I am confident in saying that people who created this list are indeed pure jackasses. These games helped defy video games today. To have them this low on the list is a pure insult to those who've grown up during the 80's and mid 90s.
