yea i know i aint' saying that he must think this way mos3ph i am saying its just shocking and it got me confused lol. Hey i made my predicitions and i bet baltimore fans are pissed off at me lol i might be right i might be wrong who knows. granted either if the giants were at full strength carolina and them were close last year. The giants were at a point of playing one more corner with 2 line backers one of them was a 40 year old they signed just for the playoffs. There line backing core was devistated and adding a corner to what was last year a weak pass defence didn't help at all. Everything fell apart for them with to many injuries and the defence collapsed from the lineback down n up. The panthers had 40 min of time possession. I think it was like 43 44 minutes. and the offence never had a chance and when they did eli made mistakes. So yea that 23-0 loss is understandable. Granted the injuries but they are healthy this year and should be alot better then they were last year.

No worries, mate. The season is still a long way away so I'm sure that fantasy football will gain interest.

Now, everyone give me a breakout player this season.

My choice: Philip Rivers, San Diego

Well i got two breakout guys. One is Frank gore. Sf might suck, but i really think that frank gore will shine. Last season he finished the season hot as hell, and i expect the same this year.

And the other one is roy williams of detroit. Like San Fran, the lions suck too, and even though roy has had a couple of good seasons, with a gun slinging back-up, and a great vetaran expect to see alot of balls throw his way that will be caught. Edit:My other breakout guy is another wide out, Reggie Williams. The third year man is now option number 1 in jacksonville with the retirement of jimmy smith. Plus leftwich will play beast like this year and reggie will be his number 1 guy.

mine is a reciever from jax but not reggie williams its going to be matt jones the qb turned reciever. I think he will lead jax in recieving yards not williams and i know he kinda had his home comming in the playoffs last year and the end of last year but i will also say chris simms the qb out of tampa i think he'll have a break out season.

nah, it's gonna be Earnest Wilford. Best reciever on the Jags right now. Matt Jones is good though

Heh, I just got banned for about 10 minutes.

Best 10 minutes ever (only because it was hectic, not because I enjoyed the ban... Thanks again GhostDragon)

I thought of another breakout player, how about Chris Henry of the Bengals?

Yeah henry is another wide-out who could have a big year, seriously though, with a sub-par tight end, and no other good recievers, obivously chad and tj will, but henry too, they can all have 1000 yard seasons.

Srry for double post again but this is ssomething different. No offence and yes the patroits are a good team but they are so overrated there like the colts were a few years ago. I just watch on espn they have the patroits beating pittsburgh to go to the super bowl. Yes they are a good team wiht a great coach but they have nothing on the defensive end the secondary is bad one of the worst in the NFL and the lost on there front 7. The offence will be good the defence won't lead them to the superbowl because its no longer a top 10 defence. Bill belecheck is a great coach to lead this team to the playoffs but they won't get to the superbowl or no where close. Yes i m down on the patroits and i was up on them in past years but its a fact they lost players on defence and didn't do much to improve a pourous secondary.

OK, time to name a disappointing player, or a player who should come back down to Earth this season.

Tiki Barber anyone?

no definally not tiki hes a great player no way he falls from earth (baring injury and that isn't a dissapointment) in one year hes been the most productive back (meaning running and passing combined) the past 3 seasons. He has more total yards then any other back including LT If i had to say one it would be though it would be another running back Lemont Jorden from oakland.

No, no no no, to tiki or lamont jordan, unless you get fucked up by an injury star running backs dont just have bad seasons, i think that seriously, a guy whos coming back down to earth is... Jake PLummer. I like the guy, great quarterback, adding javon walker is even better, i still expect him to be a good qb, jsut see his ints go up. I see him throwing 21-24 td's 16-22 piks.

Do you think that Jay Culter will come in for him sometime during this season or next season.

umm, i think the only way jay cutler plays this year is if plummer gets injured, or at the end of the season if they got a guranteed playoff spot win or lose i like cutler to start 2 games to get some under his belt, but besides that i dont see him becoming a bonafided starter till the year after this one.

Matt Leinart. He has the best situation to come into.

Yeah, but he doesn't exactly the best team to come into. This could turn into another Alex Smith disaster. Smith and Aaron Rodgers got the shit ends of the stick, Leinart with the Cardinals? That could end up just the same. With or without James.

Yeah except if you look at the situations

Alex Smith-Year 1-terrible o line, gore i think is going to be an a1000 yard back this year only got 600 last year and they had trouble at rb, medicore receivers, an great tight end plagued by injury, and a terrible D all around.

Aaron Rodgers-Year 1-Terrible o line, dont need to talk about the troubles at rb, gado was great but not ahman green, ok receiving corp. walker didnt play, and driver was great, franks got injured, at te, and plus the D sucked. And, Brett Farve Was qb.

Now
Matt Leinart-Year 1-Mediocre o line, not the best not the worst, pro bwol running back, expect Leonard Pope to be great at wideout, Probably the best 2 man recieving corp. in the nfl. Fitzgerald and Boldin are pro bowl caliber, great front seven on D, and a pretty good secondary.

Obviously smith will start this season, as there's no other qb on the roster to challenge for it, but with vernon davis his only real targer, expect another sub par season, i expect somewhere between 12-15 tds, 10-15 picks.

Rodgers wont start till week 14, because they'll let farve play until he collapses on the frozen tundra of lambue field(had to throw in the berman reference), and rodgers really wont shine till farve retires.

And Leinart, unless they've got a guarenteed playoffs spot by week 15, i dont expect leinart to start. The cardinals who i think we'll be a playoff contender, should see Leinart study under the great Kurt Warner. By the 4th quarter if its not close or in striking distance, expect so see leinart play the 4th quarter in blowouts for arizona or not for them. Next year though, exoect leinart to be full time starter.

I think Leinart will be way better than Rodgers and Smith.

I agree Lienart will be good but i think the best rookie who have a great career is Deanglo williams who went to carolina. He is going to have a great career probuly a 10000 yard career. I think he'll come in sometime in week 8 or 9 and have a good rest of the season leading to a great career.

I doubt what you said about DeAngelo Williams because DeShaun Foster is too good right now for the Panthers to bench. I think that Leinart has the best career out of this draft class, followed by Mario Williams because he'll get to play right away and because he's such a beast.
