Either very late 1998, or 1999.
Not much has changed. LOLZ

Hmm...what's weird is I've been here, but not been here since the days of Mortal Kombat Armageddon, to clarify, I lurked, but did not create an account.
Part of it was because my computer wouldn't let me(it was old), I also was hesitant to join any forum or fan site offcially and the other part was I just liked coming on once and a while, reading some interesting or funny posts from people like JR, Icebaby, Shadaloo, Razor etc + getting the news and being on my way.
So although I've techniqually been here since 2006, I didn't officially join until July or August of 2010.

Earliest post dates 2004... but i remember joining right between deception and deadly alliance... somewhere mid 2003... maybe i just visited then and didnt make an account? cant really recall
Memory's hazy, but I joined shortly before MKDA came out. Back then I was known as 'Cyber-Smoke'. Then I vanished for a little while and came back under my current nick after failing completely to remember my password. >_>

I've been checking out the fan submissions for a really long time. I made my account to submit my own fan art that sucked (I was like 12 at the time so I didn't realize how bad it was) and everyone hated it. I didn't know the rules so I bumped the thread trying to reply to a comment and got myself skulled. I tried to submit another fan submission and couldn't get it to work until a few years later.
I didn't really start doing anything until MK9 was announced. I try not to get skulls anymore, but I managed to get one or two for neglectfully bumping old threads, but since then I've been doing pretty good.
I still love the fan sub forum the most. I doubt I'd even be on this site if all those awesome fan submissions. I just wish there were more people to post some awesome stuff because lord knows I''m not posting anything else

Me too. Can't remember how I came upon the site though. I must've either been looking for MKG moves or searching for MK5 news. Either way, I do remember I started visiting before the first MK5 teasers were released (which was probably before most of this board's members were born).

Had a computer...lost it. Thought I made an account...must not have.
Got another computer couple years later, came back...made sure I made an account that time. "yay"
Can't remember for sure but, I know I've been "around here" since somn' like 2002-2003. I know because my son was born shortly before I realized there might be info on the new MK game on the "ent3r_neT". Earliest posts dates look like 2006.
8yrs or somn like that...whoa, how the time does fly by.

Back then dial up internet was in and it took me 20mins to upload the MKDA trailer, but it was worth it haha

Found mk5.org late 99 trying to find a good MK site. I remember because I went to noob.com but Ed had taken down his Trilogy II page and midway.com took down their artwork section (official drawings scanned). In 00 I joined the gamers.com boards.

I was probably looking for a place to play MK games on the internet. I was 12 and it was early 2006, Armageddon was on the horizon and the full cast render had just been released, sparking my interest.
5 years seems so long ago.

This is it right here for me. I wanted to play an MK game online sooo bad and I thought MKO was one of those sites.
Been around for 6 years. Almost 7.

I've been here, on and off, since the late '90s. This place has always been MK5.org to me. That will never change.
