Ah damn this thread has brought some good memories. Well just like the majority of the people here have said Fights lots and lots of fights. Girls lots more than you'd see in Middle school. Teachers some are pricks and some are cool as hell (I'm just glad that the majority of my teachers were cool) More work, basically there will just be alot more stuff to see and do in high school.

I remember this one fight, one of the bloodiest fights I have ever seen in my life. A bud of mine Taryn just tackled some guy who had been talking shit about his g/f on the concrete floor just in front of the enterance to the school. He kept punching the hell out of him and slamming the kid's face against the cement. The security guards took about 7 mins. to get from across the school to the front of it. When all was said and done the kid was picked up by the security guards drenched in blood, his shirt was white ended up red. He was in the hospital for a month, my friend wound up in jail, and the last I heard they were trying to sue Taryn and the school.

When I was in 2nd grade this dude had some condoms on him LOL.The Teachers sent him back to 1st grade. Back on topic.Those hot teachers have serious issues.I had a hot teacher for my 3rd Grade class and she had something against men.She's one of the main reasons why Im in Home School now.She said alot of BS about my family.

See you will learn zip about credit and credit cards, then u go to college, and they are literaly cramming them down your throat. Giving away slinkies and shit if you apply for a card, not a good idea man. Stay away from credit cards for a while man, even after college if u can swing it. It will be for the best.

I was nervous heading into 9th grade too, but nothing ever happened to me and I'll be in 11th grade this year. Just expect fights..a lot of them but dont take apart in watching them. No one really messes with you unless you are with a certain crowd. The seniors always picked on the 9th grade preps...I just strayed away from that.

Forgot, DRUGS. Like, at least 5 out of 10 people will have drugs on them, at my school anyways.

And uhm, yea dont believe in Freshman Fridays as long as you dont pick beef with any of the seniors, Freshman Friday's will almost never happpen

Haha, if only. Nah, I was just their to get that damn diploma. All that stress for a piece of paper. Ny nightmare would be having to go back. One time through is enough.

Man, High School is fun for the social part. If I really cared about getting into a great colledge, I'd take home schooling any day and get a job, because you're true friends will see you even outside of school.

But I'm not and I'm stuck in High School. High School is pretty easy, just be cool with people that you respect. Don't try to fit in with a crowd just because they are getting all the pussy from the hot girls. Trust me, you'll get yours sooner or later..

Coming from a School that is one of the most diverse group of races, it's fucking melting pot in my school. People are broken down into categories, Blacks, Italians, Jews, Chinese, Puerto Rican, Skaters, Punks, Jocks, Preps, Sluts, Stoners. All that shit is fake to me, I just chill with everyone who I think is cool.

A great thing about high school is some of the parties. Ahh, great memories on watching girls lap dance each other while drunk off of their minds. The bad thing about school is that you'll come across teachers who will just give you shit you're whole time in their class. I used to fight wars in my class with my teachers that were assholes with the kids. Whatever you do, don't sell yourself out and put an image on you, high school only lasts four years and it isn't as cracked up as it is, In fact alot of kids I used to know back in elemantary and middle school turned out to be two faced assholes that were full of themselves.

Also, thing about drugs. If you don't want to take them don't. I got a brother who started on weed then moved onto E and got fucked up for 3 years, because he hung out with some kids older than him. You'll definatley run across pot sooner or later in school and you might try it. I never did because I got people in my family that started out on that shit and moved onto other stuff and turned into junkies, but that's my reasons it's not you.

Yeah I had saw 2 big guys fought juss last school term. I saw da whole thing and it was funny.

1. Big Changes in your own tastes (Music, clothes, etc)
2. Old friends becoming new enimies
3. New Friends that will stick by you for years to come
4. Minimum 4 teachers who don't have a clue what they are talking about.
5. Lack of toilet paper in the stalls.
6. Girl after girl that will tug on the heart strings.
7. At least a minimum of 2 bomb/fire scares
8. Term papers ranging from 10-15 pages.
9. Drivers Ed (Ohh that was fun...)

Ohh and as a little add on, if after the four (or five, or six) years over high school are over and you look back and think the mojority of the experince sucked, try college. So far my first 2 semesters of college outweigh my four years of high school.

Thanks for reminding me, my freshman year ( I think) there were close to 10+ bome scares. It got so ridiculous, we had to constantly get evacuated to the stadium :| They didn't allow backpacks, cell phones, cd players, anything and everything they could think of. I doubt they'd have anything on it on the net, but if you'd like to try and check for yourself the town is Alice, Texas. I'll never forget the feeling of the first day we were released from school due to the scare, or the rainy days we had to sit out in the rain, it got really old really fast.

IMO this ^^^^^^ is probably the most important thing said in this thread - as its the one I relate to... EVERYDAY!!! lol

However, if you're like me and move around a whole LOT (over 4 different schools in less than 3 years) you'll more than likely won't (I wasn't) get exposed to most of the negatives listed in here.

I just went through 9th grade, and it was no prob, just like every other grade. Just stay cool, calm, and whatever. If someone says something to you that you feel is an insult you either fight them, or make them even angrier and ignore them. Last year I gave someone three chances to shut their mouth, "they had a big one believe me", and it was in PE. After his third strike was up, I went after him and he ran like the coward he was, when I caught him I choked him; pulled his hair *tee hee ; and pretty much just made him cry. Coach watched the whole time, and didn't do a thing because he hated the little bastard too. Anyways, the little annoying guy kissed my ass for the rest of the year, and I never had any intention of befriending him, because he still acted like an ass to people who wouldn't defend themselves. 9th grade was a blast, I got lots of friends, *my first time in public school, got an "official" girlfriend whom I don't really like anymore , and just plain had fun. Wish ya the best. Now I'm on to 10th

on the fighting category I have possibly the worst:

on my Junior year or was it early senior? Hmmm... well they were planning it all week they even called each other out during lunches and decided on thursday after school in the football field(Thursdays becuz my high school has ALL fridays off pretty ufcking cool huh?) so anyway they're in the field and they're going at it but it is really pathetic 1out of every 6 swings landed and none were that great... then security came and every body left the two kids met a lil bit later down the street and STOPPED to ask one another if they still wanted to fight!!! WIHH??? then they just tried to go at it and the bigger kid sprained his ankle and the smaller kid's all like "dude, man are you all right?" LOL... it was hilarious me n a couple boys were rollin' man...
