1) Ayumi Tachibana, from Famicom Detective Club. First character I had in mind.
2) Kate Alen, Zoda, Black Shadow, Blood Falcon, and Pico, all from the F-Zero series. There's many more I'd like, but it's be too long to list them all.
3) Poo, from Earthbound. I admit it's largely because of the name. And Giygas.
4) Anne, from Custom Robo V2. There was a trophy of her in SSB: Melee.
5) Captain Syrup, from the Wario Land games. Other foes of Wario I'd like to see are Count Cannoli and Carpaccio, both from Wario: Master of Disguise. Waluigi would be another suggestion, if he wasn't already an Assist Trophy, if what I've read is true.
6) Toad, with Toadette as an alt skin/character. I think part of his moveset could be based on the game "Wario's Woods".
7) Ridley, Kraid, Mother Brain, Dark Samus, Anthony ( so I can kick his ass, mostly), Sylux, Weavel, and Trace from the Metroid series.
8) Other Punch Out! characters like Great Tiger, Super Macho Man, Glass Joe (with Gabby Jay as an alt skin/character), and Hoy Quarlow.
9) At least one Resident Evil character. Many to choose from. Ada, Jill, Claire, Rebecca, Nemesis, Wesker, Billy, Leon, Chris (with the sailor outfit as an alt), Hunk, Tofu, just to name a few. Some of them, like Hunk, could be given Snake's moveset if the latter didn't return.
10) Phoenix Wright, from Ace Attorney. Any objections?
11) Shanoa, from Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. Plenty of other Castlevania characters I'd like, such as Maria Renard (as an adult, preferably) but Shanoa's my first pick.
12) Khameleon, the one MK character who has more history with Nintendo than any of the others. And like many of the series above, MK has so many characters to choose from for guest appearances.
13) King K. Rool. You could even have various different versions of him, all of them based respectivelly on each of his appearances, all with unique movesets. King K.Rool, Captain K. Rool, Baron K. Roolenstein, and K. Rool Boxer. It's amazing how five versions of the same character can be so individualized. He is one character who could play differently in every of his appearances in a SSB game.
There are even more characters, but it'd take forever, so I'll leave it at that. I'll conclude by saying that Luigi and Ganondorf both need moves of their own, ASAP. The Luigi's Mansion games have provided Luigi with enough individual abilities, and Ganondorf always had moves of his own.

What's your problem with the other characters? Not relevant enough? Not fitting enough? No moveset potential? I'm asking, because these are the most common arguments against certain characters.
