The first three are confirmed. Luigi was leaked by a designer in an interview. Now Super Mario needs some explaining. Basically Mario with that raccoon tail on. His powers are all based on the power ups he gets from the Super Mario games. Here’s a quick move list:
B: Hammer Toss (from Super Mario Bros. 3)
> B: Koopa Shell Toss (from various Mario games)
^ B: Raccoon Mario Tackle (from Super Mario Bros. 3. Basically, Mario charges up in the air for a head butt)
vB: Enemy Mario (Forgot what it’s called. From Super Mario Bros. 3. Dodges all attacks and reflects them back. Doesn’t include final smash)
Final Smash: Mega Mario (eats giant mushroom to grow into Mega Mario. Similar to Giga Bowser)

The first two are confirmed. Jiggly and Mewtwo are likely to return due to popularity. Lucario is a perfect representative of the fourth gen.

The first three are obviously in. The fourth slot is up for grabs, but I choose Majora’s Mask Link. What is this Link? Basically he’s like Young Link, but has the ability to use different masks to fight. His final smash could be Deity Link. I guess that convinced you Zelda fans.

Isn’t is odd that this game has no original characters as playable fighters? Well, there ya go.
The Mii would have one bad ass move list. And their FS? The Mii parade obviously!

I’m going to list this in order of appearance, who they will fight, and their summary. I won’t list Petey or Rayquaza, as they are already confirmed.
Boss 3: King Boo
Vs. Yoshi and Link
Summary: King Boo and Petey usually are in the same game. So here’s Boo. Basically he will battle Link and Yoshi as a boss character somewhere in the cave they are traveling in in the trailer. Boo will come out, and for a time will be invincible by ways of being invisible. After trying to deal damage, Boo will get tiered, and be open for any shots.
Boss 4: Kraid
Vs. Ike and Marth
Summary: For the sake of the boss list, let’s just put Marth and Ike as partners. No complaints right? Good. So basically, Kraid appears and fights the two. Kraid appears, and attacks with his claws. The only way to damage him is by attacking his hands when he puts them on the ground. Then, when enough damage is done, Kraid collapses, and gives out open shots to his giant noggin. But you can be attacked by his multiple different attack styles.
Boss 5: Metal Gear REX
Vs. Samus and Krystal
Summary: I’m going overboard with these partnerships. Anyways, the two are at some base when this giant thing attacks. REX can use all of his regular weapons. To damage it, you must jump onto it’s arm when it attacks, then climb up it, and destroy it’s top part, then go inside of it to destroy it.
Boss 6: Ganon
Vs. Bowser and Wario
Summary: Hear me out. Bowser and Wario work for the Minister right? Well, Ganondorf will too. So let’s say Ganon gets all pissed off for some reason, and the Minister orders Wario and Bowser to take him out. Unfortunately, Ganondorf transforms, and they fight. Basically, Ganon will beat the shit out of you in a fight if you don’t dodge all of his attacks. Eventually, he’ll tire out, and be vulnerable for a few seconds, giving you free hits.
Eventually, after multiple shots, Ganon will go nuts, and the only way to beat him is by using the Smash Balls. Eventually, after Giga Bowser and Wario do enough damage, Ganon will be defeated.
Boss 7: Ridley
Vs. Mewtwo and Pokemon Trainer
Summary: The two are partners to save Pikachu from evil or something. I dunno. Ridley appears, he’s the giant beast guarding the trophy room. Yeah, all the trophies are guarded by Ridley. That would be awesome, but it won’t happen.
You cannot defeat Ridley, but you can break the door to save all the trophies, and then beat the living shit out of Ridley. He stands in front of the door, but a few hits to his head will send him flying to heal. You get a few seconds to attack the door, and try to break it before Ridley comes back and attacks. Keep this up to free the trophies and Pikachu.
Boss 8: The Mad King Ashnard
Vs. Mario, Pit and Sonic
Summary: Yep, Ashnard. This guy is insane. All the people who played FE 9 and 10 will know him. He’ll be on his mount, and wielding his sword (or lance, I forgot. It’s been a while since I beat FE 9.) You have to attack Ashnard, and due as little damage to the dragon Rajoin. Depending on who you deal more damage to, a different scene will unfold. Great twist right?
Boss 9: The Squeak Squad
Vs. Meta Knight and Ice Climbers
Summary: The Squeak Squad would be a nice addition imo. This is basically a four on two fight. You must defeat all four of them to continue. Of course the squad would retain it’s abilities from it’s debut.
Boss 10: Bowser, Wario, and King Dedede
Vs. Super Mario
Summary: So everyone manages to get to the ship. Now what? Well, Super Mario is alone fighting with these three badies. It’s a one on three fight with stamina and a difficulty level of 10. Not nine, ten. I loved the final event in Melee because it was so difficult (beat it with Yoshi, no Jigglypuff bullshit cheat.) Let’s recreate that. Even though none of the original characters from then return, this is good enough.
Boss 11: Medusa
Vs. Captain Falcon and Pikachu
Summary: The two are on the ship after being released by PT and Mewtwo. Medusa has the ability to petrify you with a stare, but you can dodge these attacks, and destroy her with basic combat.
Boss 12: Dr. Ivo Robotnik Eggman
Vs. Solid Snake
Summary: On the Halberd, these two meet up, and fight. Eggman is in his classical Eggmobile. He flies around the Halberd, and must have his Eggmobile destroyed. When it’s destroyed, he summons Metal Sonic for help. You must ignore Metal Sonic as best you can, and attack the helpless Doctor before he repairs his Egg Mobile.
Boss 13: Shadow the Hedgehog and the Pac Man Ghosts
Vs. Pac Man and Sonic
Summary: How awesome would this be? Anyways, again aboard the Halberd, Pac Man arrives to aid Sonic after he is separated from Mario and Pit. The Ghosts will basically act as a shield for Shadow, who will use his attacks to full effect. When he goes Super Shadow, he will tire out. Of course, one hit from this attack will destroy you. The ghosts will run in terror, giving you free shots.
Boss 14: Prime Minister
Vs. Pit, Ice Climbers, Mr. G&W, and Meta Knight
Summary: Time to get his halberd back. Meta Knight allies with the three retro characters to fight the toughest boss yet, the Prime Minister! He will fly around inside the Halberd, and seems invincible. You must deal 999% points of damage to him to win the fight. This won’t be easy. He flies around, and rarely lands. He has many devastating blows, and seems nearly invincible. Beating him would obviously unlock him as a playable, yet completely toned down fighter.
Final Boss: The Master and Crazy Hands
Vs. You Choose
Summary: The end game. You choose who to use to fight them at the Final Destination. Yep, they controlled the Minister. They act the same way as before, except on steroids. The attacks are faster and more powerful. They each have 300 health. Good luck.
So yeah, there ya go. Basically a better than average bump
