Hey now, Bob and Miguel are fucking awesome.
I'll reserve my judgement until I see her gameplay. I was thrilled when I first saw Zafina but her gameplay turned me off completely.

I like her already.

She looks like a mix of Anna and Christie... Or just Christie having Anna's style in fashion.

Yeah, Savate is the same style Remy from Street Fighter 3 uses. ^^

Doesn't look too bad.
(I also thought it was Christie at first and groaned.)
Hey yeah I forgot Tekken characters had 2 or 3 unique intros and a bunch of winning poses/scenes.

To be honest why do any of us even care what the new characters look like? We'll just customize them to our liking anyways.

Here is hoping that Tekken X Street Fighter wasn't canceled either, only delayed to move over the the new engine.

A proprietary engine called Octave Engine.

New character: Claudio.
And new info:

"RAGE ARTS
Once your health falls below a certain value, you enter into rage mode and your attack power increases. During that time, you have access to special powerful moves known as rage arts.
The command varies per character, so check the command list.
- When the life bar indicates, you have access to rage arts
- You can use them in combos
- Go for the comeback victory!
POWER CRUSH
Even if you are hit during your attack, you will continue to attack until the end of the move. It is powerful as you can use it as often as you like, to absorb as many attacks as you like, but you will still take the damage from the opponent's move, so watch your life bar carefully.
In the move list on page 3, the red moves are rage arts, the blue moves are power crush. It also mentions that power crush moves will only absorb the opponent's high and mid moves."
There appears to be location tests of the new characters atm. Follow the link above to read about it.

I saw this on a GameFaqs board. So far, after viewing some gameplay and reading some press statements, I'm not really sure what to think, but I'll hold judgement until we get an actual gameplay trailer.
From this grainy poster, though, I'm concerned they made Dragunov too pretty. Hopefully, it's just the bad resolution.
P.S. Claudio looks silly.

Shit sounds like they are taking the Power Crush from Tekken Revolution. It is super easy to spam, and while spammers are generally easy to deal with I'm not happy about that bit of news. They are really trying to make it easy.
Claudio looks like something from Time Crisis 4 and that's not a good thing. Hopefully Miguel is in Tekken 7 so I can whoop Claudio's ass with Miguel.
And holy fuck, still no Jin?

I seriously thought Claudio was Maxi from Soul Calibur. You can tell its a super early beta version. Heihachi, Kazuya, Katalina, Claudio and Lili are the only characters that move real fluid. The rest seem like they were copied and pasted from Tekken Revolution.
So far Katalina looks like she plays similar to Baek and Claudio plays similar to Miguel and Lei.

Super moves in Tekken, wow
Ugh.
What happened to the designers imagination?
I've been trying to put my finger on why I haven't been the least bit excited for this. I'm pretty sure its because of the above.
The Tekken franchise is swiftly becoming another Street Fighter debacle: a lost identity.

Couldn't find any.
But apparently Claudio has a fire arm and Catalina uses like 4 hit combo strings with the same leg.
No bounds anymore so that'll be an adjustment. Even TR didn't have them as well, but that game had other stupid things. I'm actually not mad about the Rage Arts. Lot of hardcore players are already damning the game, but whatever.
Also, love the slow mo KO but still miss replays.

Damnit! You beat me to it!
Yeah, I'm not really digging Claudio, and Catalina just looks okay. I still feel that there's still a lot of damage from attacks in the Tekken games, so adding mechanics to further increase that damage will make the gameplay frustrating.
I love the series and I know this a very early build and all, but I think Tekken seriously needs an overhaul...
I like the new gameplay ideas, but I want new animations for the old characters and new designs. It's been looking like the same game since 5, and its getting so stale.

"EARLY GAMEPLAY DETAILS / CHANGES
Rage Arts are comparable to super moves from SF4 & SC5, activating slow motion during gameplay and dramatic camera angles.
New vibrant hit sparks / particle effects. Slow-motion effect during K.O. hit.
Bound is still in the game, but functions differently. Some attacks will "knock the opponent out of the air" and they will fall into a bound state. Some attacks also put opponent in bound state from standing (like in TR). However, many moves that used to bound don't anymore (or at least, currently don't in this build of the game). Ground and wall breaks will still cause bound as well.
Free attack after K.O is enabled (like in Tekken 6)! There are no round replays in this build of the game - it isn't known whether or not they'll be added in the future.
The in-game camera is slightly further back from characters compared to TTT2.
All characters have brand new character models from the ground up. However, current character models do not show lighting or have finished skin shaders & texture quality.
Catalina has simple strings (to appeal to beginners) by repeatedly pressing one button (similar to Hwoarang's 3,3,3 or 4,4,4,4 strings).
There are no Invincible moves like in Tekken Revolution.
Some new 2P costumes, such as Kazuya's long jacket from TTT1 intro.
New kick option from the ground - right kick (d+4) into back roll.
There is no tech roll. Several players tried and it didn't happen."
