Just when I don't like Lars or Alisa looks' they make fighters with even dumber designs like Claudio and Eliza.

King looked neat though..or maybe I like his new duds simply because he's been wearing the same purple and yellow trunks since Tekken 5 and any change is welcome at this point.

Hoping for Kunimitsu like crazy but expecting to be disappointed.

I have been checking out other forums as well and reception has been lukewarm which to me is really suprising since Tekken is such a big fighting game franchise and this is its first entry this console generation. I thought fans would be really excited for this game but that has not been the case.

Claudio does not appeal to me and definately not Catalina for the same reason Mick pointed out. I would prefer a character that practices Jeet Kun Do.

Why do I get the feeling Kazumi or Heihachi are going to be the final boss(es) in the game?

Wouldn't surprise me since this whole Mishima started with Heihachi. But I have this feeling Kazumi will be playable as well.

God I hope Heihachi is not the boss again, unless he ends up with some Devil form or becomes Uber Heihachi. I was so disappointed to see him as the final boss in Tekken 4 after having cool bosses like Devil, Ogre, and Unknown. Although Jinpachi and Azazel can be cheap at least they can be a challenge. i think it's safe to say that some possessed form of Kazumi will be the boss.

Given how tolerant towards this thing the Japanese are, the chances of Heihachi being the boss, or A boss is pretty high.

Probably Heihachi or Kazuya will be the sub-boss while Kazumi is the last boss

I can see Devil Kazumi happen.

When you think about where we came from and where we've been, it's kinda silly that martial arts masters are the unusual bosses in martial arts video games. I dig Heihachi as a boss. It's great to mix it up and go places where the series hasn't been in a while. Doubt that's where we're headed, but it would be great to get the series back to its (slightly) toned down roots.

I am ABSOLUTELY feeling Dragunov's outfit. It looks awesome.

It's not as cool as his bodysuit +skull in Tekken 6 but it's miles ahead of the stupid jester outfit.

Leo's was okay the rest were bleh.

Dragu looks more like Spectre from that Operation Raccoon City game. It looks alright I guess. Leo looks majestic though.

Harada confirmed time release characters on the arcade. Wow that really takes me back. Its been a decade since we last had that feature.

I'm guessing Fall 2015. Anywhere from September to October. That's a 7-8 month gap. Plenty of time to get it from Arcade to Consoles.

And can I just say those graphics are fucking amazing? I mean I knew they were good from the test location footage, but these screenshots are incredible. And that's not even 100%! Loving Xiaoyu's bangs by the way.

Dragunov looks much better without that mask on (though I still think that outfit is out-of-place;) if anything, he should have that skull mask from 6.

The game looks nice, regardless.

Am I the only person who's annoyed that they opted to make Katarina a Brazilian? Don't we already have two other kick-happy fighters from Brazil? She apparently says "Vaì de volta pra sua mamãe" in her victory pose, "Vamos lá; eu vou chutar a sua bunda", etc.

Anyhow, apparently, the new fighters' names are Katarina Alves and Claudio Serafino. And, apparently, Claudio is some kind of exorcist (which I'm sure will tie him to Jin/Kazuya.)

Oh, and Harada has also hinted that [nameless Arabic fighter] is in.

Yeah it would've been nice if Katarina was from some other Hispanic country. Brazil is already represented, she could've came from anywhere in Central America and that would've been interesting.

As many others have said across the interwebz, Claudio looks straight-up like a Soul Calibur character, and Katarina seems wholly unnecessary.
With how she's been referenced thus far, I think she'll fall into the mass of characters who do absolutely nothing every single installment. I mean, she's flat-out titled "sexy battle girl". Boy, she sure sounds like an endearing and intriguing character.
As for Arabic dude, he (to me) strikes me like Claudio, wherein he'd look acceptable for a Soul Calibur game, not Tekken. Harada said, however, that his outfit has been "optimized", whatever that means.

Oh well.

She's pretty much Marie Rose + Felicia, and super kawaii animu.
