The Avengers

Saw it yesterday.
I would not have changed a THING about the movie. Not a hair on a character, not a line of dialogue, not a shot, not a special effect.
10/10, absolutely loved it. Joss Whedon is a true master of superhero teams, and every cast member was spot on. I was afraid that my man Hawkeye would get the shitty end of the deal, but he got decent screen time and became a badass in his own right.
I saw it in 2D since usually I hate 3D, but I'm considering giving it a shot.
Who else has seen the movie?

Movie isn't out yet in the states, but I'm dying to see it! Glad you said everyone gets decent screen time because I was worried for Hawkeye. Looks to be my super hero movie of the year for sure.
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Fuck you, Batman.
Fuck you, Batman.

Can't wait to see it. It looks amazing.

I already need to watch Iron Sky, but I'll consider watching this. Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man in The Avengers makes me more interested. Next at he must be acting in Iron Man 3. I haven't seen the movie... Just yet.

Admittedly it was a little vague! But what's so confusing about that post?
I already need to watch "Iron Sky" in the movie theatre before I'm going to watch anything else. The last sentence was simply an answer to your question.
@Mojo6: I bet you don't, if you can't even spell my name, gosh...
Please bring me examples if there are any, because I want to know, seriously. In some occasions I may use "inside humor" that's not directed to everyone, however.
Now that I think of it, I believe that it's about my habit of putting a lot of text into one paragraph, for the most part. It's probably that. I may also use idioms that are strange to the people in USA but I doubt that's the case here.

I'm fucking dying to see this movie. I'm glad to hear it was awesome. I know what I'm doin next week
The problem isn't inside jokes, it's that you haven't mastered English. For example
That doesn't mean anything.
Damn, I was hoping for more Europeans/Australians I guess. I can't wait to see it at least a second time... in the meantime I have to settle for Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon.

Hawkeye no doubt.
Zmoke: Yeah I was alluding to what Zentile pointed out. Basically it becomes a broken sentence situation. I usually just don't say anything because I'm not trying to be the grammar police. I didn't mean that as a personal offense by the way, just observation. Also I was exaggerating, it's not like you posts are incomprehensible or anything.
Off topic is over, broken English or not.
As for favorite avenger, I have to say Hawkeye. Total badass with an attitude, yet still a great team player. He rocks in the movie, but then again every character gets his chance to shine... Whedon did a really great job of showing off every character's strengths.

I'm mostly looking forward to seeing movie Hulk get his SMASH on as well as Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark (in addition to Iron Man's CGI badassery). Honorable mention to Black Widow. Movie Thor and Cap were pretty meh to me.
As in traditional fashion in the Marvel Universe when the Hulk shows up he steals the entire show, I am very much looking forward to seeing the Hulk smash in this film.
I know for a fact that I am going to laugh at Tony Stark's witty comments towards the rest of the Avengers and I really want to see Captain America's trouble in trying to fit in with our generation.
In New York we have only a week away and I'm hoping to be blown away by the Avengers.

Damn I absolutely cannot wait to see this thing. Its gonna be weird tho cuz it comes out like the day after the last day of my semester and most of the people I know will be long gone before then, but I wanna see it so bad I dunno if i wanna wait to drive all the way back to Seattle just to meet up with friends to see it or if i should just go in by myself on opening day. I've seen movies solo before but for a movie like this it'd for sure be more fun to talk about it after.
Can't wait to see the trailers for the new Spiderman and The Dark Knight Rises as well.

So I was roaming around Youtube, and i found this video of cool gameplay of a possible Avenger's Videogame.

I heard THQ cancelled it or something..... But it looks like a mod from Skyrim to me. What do you guys think?

On the one hand I want to tell you to watch it as soon as you can.
on the other hand, watching it with friends is pretty awesome so I'd go with that option!

Some of the early reviews are saying its the best comic book movie to ever be made. Arguably better than Nolan's Batman trilogy. The difference between Joss Whedon's Avengers and Nolan's Batman is that Nolan basically twists the batman universe into making it believable in a more real world setting. Whedon basically embraces the cartoony side of comic books and takes things for what they are and stays true to the source material.
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Some of the spoilers I've read said both Red Skull and Thanos are in the movie and that the basic plot of the movie is Loki apparently trades Thanos the infinity gauntlet for the Cosmic Cube and his army to try and take over earth.

[edit]:Here is a link to a really grainy clip of the after credit scene of the Avengers: Avengers After Credit Teaser scene. Its a little hard to make out the majority of the clip but the very end and the audio are pretty clear.
