I apolagize for the lack of updates but I haven't been home for two weeks now and am currently residing in my home country (for the summer), Yugoslavia. My English may also be a little rusty as I've been speaking fluent Serbian for the past half month or so. I have, however, been following the euro cup and am very dissapointed that France lost. My prediction for the finals is to be Portugal v.s Czech Rep. Greece stands a good chance aswell. I'm currently watching the Czech v.s Denmark match and Czech's are beating the living shit out of the Danish. 3-0.

I won't be appearing too often here for the rest of the summer seeing as how I'm on extremely slow dial up and didn't come to another country to do things I can do back home. I'll try and be back for the finals. That should be an exiting time.

Actually a sport extremely similar football was invented in China long before the English invented it, which has, of course, nothing to do with what we're discussing here. Not that being from England automatically entitles you to hold the absolute truth about the world; that's an american cliché.
I find it amusing that you have to resort to insults like "stupid" and "mentally ill" to backup your opinions which further proves my point. There was a foul by John Terry, if the referee didn't see it and saw an unexisting foul by Sol Campbell I don't give a damn.

But FLSTYLE, DamRho - there's no point in arguing it anymore, it didn't count and that's that. Although I am w/ FL on this one, I didnt see a foul on Ricardo, it doesnt matter cus the game's over. England didnt play well at all against Portugal, a real let down after the Group Stage, and Portugal deserved to go through. As an England fan it was soooo painful to watch us play so badly, conceding posession at every opportunity, and really didnt go forward. And I think that we are making a scapegoat of Urs Meier (the ref) instead of blaming the team.

Portugal versus Czech Rep. would be an awesome final. The quarter-finals were kinda boring, so it's time for something really intriguing and speedy.
I wouldn't mind, if Greece makes it to the finals, tho. I like them almost as much as the Czechs.

Holland Vs Portugal. I like them both but I think I'll go with Portugal. I agree, Rep. C. vs Portugal in final, that would be great!

Thanks Jade....but you're right. The Czech Republic is a really great team...I had no idea they were that explosive. I agree with most in saying that the finals will be Portugal vs. Czech Republic.

WOW...I wasn't able to be on in the last days, but these games are getting hotter and hotter, I was almost having an heart attack in the PORTUGAL VS england game...glad we won, and yes they commited fault on Ricardo, then again, who cares?...we're on the final...I'm glad it's gonna be against greece...we're gonna beat the crap out of them, they don't stand a chance against us...the team that played in the first game was very different from the Portugal VS russia, spain, england and holland...greece will be anihilated...and I think we deserve to win, I've never saw Portugal like this...it's very beatiful, all the people supporting the team on the streets, we really have to win
