Wow Portugal made it.....i was the only one that back them up even though with all the odds against them. Now history will repeat itself. Portugal VS England.......do u guys remember 4 years ago Figo's goal from 30 yards away which left Seaman shocked. Hopefully Portugal will win again

Stupid penalty to give away by Materazzi, and Petrov put it away easily. Italy don't look interested (much like Spain a few days ago) and if they don't improve in the 2nd half, they will be going home!

Oh dear ^*Jade*^, Italy scored in the 94th min, and still don't go through!! Denmark + Sweden drew 2-2, EXACTLY the score that would eliminate Italy!
Alot of people said before the game that if Sweden and Denmark drew 2-2 then it was fixed, I didn't see that game so I dont know, but I do know Sweden equalized in the 89th min! Sorry to all Italy fans...

Anyway...Italy has never been a good team since the first match of Euro 2004...being sportive...i admit we deserved to be eliminated...one thing i'll never forget.........the joy of Cassano after he scored the goal he believed it was the qualification...and his tears when he known after few seconds that Denmark vs Sweden was ended 2-2. OMG...

bear with me.
The Czechs are through, if they lose to Germany they'll join them.
If Germany don't win but either Holland or Latvia do, then whoever wins will go through.
If the Czechs win and holland share a score draw (1 - 1, 2 - 2 etc.) with Latvia they are through.
A 0 - 0 draw will see Holland through unless Germany lose by the odd goal in at least five.(to be honest i'm not sure what that means myself, i got it from teletext, yes teletext, not the internet or a magazine or a tv programme teletext!!!!)
The Czechs are through, if they lose to Germany they'll join them.
If Germany don't win but either Holland or Latvia do, then whoever wins will go through.

Wow Italy are out UNBELIVABLE. But i felt so sorry for Cassano after he scored. He started to cry...and i remember my sisters were beside me when i was watching that game and they cried too.
I hear that the Italian press is complaining about the fact that Sweeden and Denmark made a conspiracy....knowing that if they tie at 2-2...then Italy would have no chance......despite a win or a lose.
Well whatever the case i feel really bad for them. This just shows what happens when i good, talented team has a bad coach. Trapattoni should not have started Zanetti and Camronasi in their opening game......instead Pirlo and Gattuso should have started.

I feel bad for them for how they were knocked out but if we're gonna be honest, they have been bad for their standards whereas Denmark and Sweden have played really well so I feel they deserve to go through.
But just the fact that Italy didn't lose any of their games and still didn't make it through is pretty gutting.
As for tonight I'm sticking with my predictions of The czechs and the Dutch going through to the quarters, I don't think Germany have it in them to beat a Czech side who are playing as well as they did to get to the finals of Euro 96.
