I was thinking that sometimes I tend to tell a joke that can be found rude by someone at first, but I don't do that on a frequent basis at all either.
I like to wear shorts all year, including during winter in home when it's -30°F; people oftentimes think that "That guy will be getting a fever!" but realistically I won't. Nonetheless I barely wear them in public during the "wrong" time due to that. Then I've also slept in my car for a few times.
Really though, I can't think of any real socially taboo habit of mine.

P.S. Although I live in a western country as well, feeling/groping your balls nor picking your nose are barely frowned upon here. You can do those while walking in the market for instance, we have no "You got caught in the act!" culture with those really. They are in the "just picking my ear" level.
