Maybe the mods could use my MKO Idol thread idea to determine who the next mod should be. There'd be a small number of candidates and every other forum member could vote to decide who'll take ChairShot's place. The "competition" would be much shorter than the Idol thing, and the winner would become a trial-mod. In other words, he/she would get a chance to prove whether or not they have what it takes to be a mod.

Just a thought.

Oh I know, but Temp (as qualified as I too think he is) would be just too...predictable. You know, sorta like when the original Pseudo-Mod himself Sub-Cero became a mod. Remember that ? Almost the same as when Crow became one as well. And who knows, maybe a shitload of people who haven't contributed/read this thread would like someone else.

I'd like the competition to take place since it could be someone totally unexpected who could become the mod. I say we should do it since, unless he leaves, Tampon will eventually become a mod anyways, without the people voting for him.

I can't choose between: tgrant and Temp...but one of these two should definitely be considered, no doubt about it.

First off Garlador wasn't here since the beginning. I remember him coming here. Anyway, I am not entirely certain they need another daytime staffer.

When crow isn't online they don't usually have a nighttime staffer (Eastern Standard Time GMT -500) Until DAB wakes up at six. So there is a 4-8 hour block usually of no staff online to mod if crow isn't here.

And I'm not entirely certain that they need another one. Not to say that it could hurt. But I'm not sure if they would pick someone. You would have to ask Jonin.

I think the person with the highest rank should get it...after all he had to earn whatever rank it is he's at, but yah... do we really need another mod? There aren't that many pricks here to moderate.

Considering how long that idiotic extacy (not sure if that's how you spell it and I honestly don't care) thread remained open (hell, it probably still IS open), I'd say yeah.

And that's just one example, IMO.

Murdoink, NovaStarr,Shingo,MKS, Hyuga, Temp, or mister_satan would be hard to choose from, for me at least.

Even though the moderator count is lower than it has been in quite some time (there are four 'moderators' now, total), I'm not quite sure it is completely neccesary to have another.

Then again, it isn't my decision at all. If I am asked for any input on the subject, I shall recommend the user(s) I believe most fit for the position.

Of all those listed, 3 of 'em will eventually become mods (if they never leave, that is).

Then there are 3 others who'd bring something different (like when TPB became one) to the mod duties.

And then there's Mister_Satan666, who serves no purpose whatsoever here or any other place on Earth.

P.S. What Crow said seems fair enough.

Whoever has been here the longest and the most frequent. Everything else is rather insignificant. Also, yet most importantly, lest I forget, the newest mod (if there will be one) should have a zeal and passion for Mortal Kombat and the MK forum members, the heart of the Mortal Kombat franchise. Ultimately, that's left up to the mods. Fatality.

Thanks to Noob_sareena, Mk_Freak, Sektor101, and GraveDigger for naming me. I feel happy and proud I'm actually considered for such position, and even though I don’t see it happening yet, I thank you all for the trust.

If I ever become a mod, I promise to do my very best to make this site one of the best!

Temp and Tgrant are also great forum members, and I’m sure they would do everything they can to make this one better site.

Lets see, i definately think Queve or Tgrant should be a new mod. They always post intellegent posts. They are also very nice members. I never seen them get skulled before, nor break any rules.
