@MKGeek, yeah dude I agree I think she's a good source for info and it's been confirmed on other Smallville, comic sites and CW that Welling has been inked for 2 more years then high chances for a follow up/spin off Smallville movie to finish up the series Sounds good. I also keep hearing that Darkseid is going to pop up in season 10 and Lex(rosenbaum) supposedly will be back for the last season, not sure about PT or Full timer.

Clark was never a pussy, just too forgiving and tries to see the good in the most evil people at times when there is none. He is Superman afterall but he looks like a badass Superman now and he will officially be "airborn" like a plane this year I read supposedly at some point hehe. Nice

Although, not sure what's up with the "black" though....I kind of like it how they're paying his return from death costume some homage with the black shirt and silver "S" icon on it using the trenchcoat as a cape kind of.

um, he came off as a pussy to me alot of times. i got tired of his whineyness all the time, and actually enjoyed seeing him get pwned to the point where the light bulb would go off, and he'd get pissed and fight back. he needs to channel the anger more often, and it seems as though Season 9 will be the season where he does so

Hey guys. I know it's been a long while since I've posted here. I saw the trailer for season 9, and it looks awesome. I'm just wondering how much of this new version of Clark is going to last. It's interesting to see Metallo, and I wonder how they're going to go about his character. I wonder if he's going to be a villain that will appear throughout this season or if he'll only appear once or twice. Tess looks different...It's as if she's skinnier or something. I'm not sure what that's all about. It looks like we'll be seeing Emil Hamilton again, which is great.

And then of course, we have Zod, played by a British actor..lol....He looks good for the role though it would have been nice to see him with facial hair that Terrance Stamp had in Superman 2. It will be interesting to see what Zod can really do now that he has his own body (I'm assuming here...) instead of being defeated in the first episode of a new season.

I would like to see clear and proper explanation on certain things, such as the orb that was in Tess' possession. I wonder if the Fortress will be restored this season and how it will be restored. I hope that we see more of Martian Manhunter and see his powers return. I feel as if we don't see enough of him, but that's just me.

So anyway, I haven't been as excited about the next season as I felt that this show has been going on for a long time, and there are certain moments in the show with certain episodes that can be a bit aggravating. However, this new season does look to be quite promising. Either way, I'll going to watch it and critique it but try to enjoy it as much as I can.

I think Clark will be more serious, less "humanlike" to be more like Superman, stronger both not only physically but mentally.

Hey guys. I watched tonight's episode, and I have to say that it has its strange moments. However, I do look forward to how this season develops. I don't understand why Zod is only a Major when he's a general in previous seasons. My only guess so far is that it's one of those time-traveling things. Speaking of time travel, we see a Kryptonian assassin in search of killing Clark, whom she believes is going to destroy Earth in a year. We see her current self in the company of Zod.

But yeah, we have Metallo next week. It should be somewhat interesting to see, but I'm more interested in the Zod storyline. I'm glad that he and Clark don't cross paths right away, but there needs to be a lot of explaining to do, which I'm sure will happen.

Damn. I'm speechless. This season is gonna be Bananas. Badass season opener.

Chloe and Clark will have an edgy year....not a doubt due to him refusing to go back in time to prevent Jimmy's death but he's right, he can't just save everyone who dies because someone else fate will take in exchange like we've seen with the lana/john kent scenario...

Anywho, yeah Sub that's interesting to see how this ninja chick named "Alia" I think thinks Clark betrays them/her? Maybe because they find out he's a Kryptonian and winds up fighting Zod and his minions?

I take it Zod is also from the past not current and time travel definitely plays a role here now I've noticed(which is kind of cool)

I want to see Legion show up again and explain more things since they're from the future and know everything 1000 years lol

Will we see Supergirl again? Remember she left on a visit to Kandor and that's Zod and his crew are from.

I wonder if that's where Lois went also....notice her dreamy images of past memories of herself in the future, they show rather interesting things...I'm guessing that was on Kandor where she was also? Time will tell...

Chloe looked like she died, ninja girl alia was fighting someone, it looked like I saw Clark kissing Lois but I'm not entirely sure....just weird, I'm sure that's the future which Clark/Lois will try to alter some how.

Also, who the hell is that voice on the orb? I got season 8 and it was saying good things such as "Then Kal-El can fulfil his destiny" at the end of last season if you guys remember so I have no clue who the hell that could be....maybe, maybe Jor-El's brother?

Clark apparently can fly but just is limiting himself by not believing apparently...interesting.

I like the whole Superboy/darker "S" look he's got going on there.

Lois finding and scoping out Green Arrow was interesting. Like he's in exile or something, saw "S" clark's calling which will probably inspire him along with Emille and Chloe watchtower...

Metallo looks interesting, apparently he's holding a grudge against Clark and blames him for his sister dying(whoever she is we'll find out)

Looks good, this season looks like it's going to be rather interesting and more serious.

I think that this season might just be the season that we've been waiting for. I really do like Clark's new costume, and I hope that it will be something we'll continue to see.

I think it's a shame that Supergirl was only a one-season character. They could have had some more development of Kara's character.

In the visions, it looked to me like Tess was pledging her allegiance to Zod, but I could be wrong on that.

As for the voice in the orb, I doubt it's Zor-El. Zod doesn't even know what's going on when it comes to the orb. I hope they'll explain that.

And of course, I really hope that we see more of Martian Manhunter....and some moments with him eating Oreos.
