Little early for bat-breaking....

Unless Bane is not used as the one who managed to beat Batman... now there is an interesting chain of thought.

Well, I'm not even going to bother with the spoilers tags since, well, it's in the title and it's impossible to discuss without bringing them up.

Bane is a great villain, and he's actually who I recommended to friends. He's an anti-hero in many ways, but unlike some interpretations, he's a genius too. He outsmarted Batman and deduced his secret identity, he outmuscled Batman and broke his back, and until Jean Paul Valley defeated him in a fight that tore up half of Gotham and left them both in bloody chunks, he ruled Gotham unopposed. He's a fantastic villain and I hope Nolan does him justice.

And then we have Catwoman. Finally... finally... we can forget that awful Rachel Dawes that nobody really knew or cared about. She was a MacGuffin for both movies and I never really liked her. She lacked passion, fire, and even a strong, powerful personality. Just a plot device and nothing more.

Catwoman has always been a complex character, shifted and changing with time just like Batman himself, from villain to anti-hero to outright hero when the need arises. She's complex, unpredictable, and yet represents a dark side of Batman that's ever the temptress. She's always been his "greatest love" and there's not a soul alive that doesn't think she's not his soulmate... and yet fate always intervenes and circumstances always push them apart right when everything seems perfect.

Here's hoping all these complexities somehow make it into the new film.

I fear Catwoman in Batman 3 will be the Venom of Spiderman 3.

I fear that Tom Hardy as Bane will make this movie too awesome and the world will explode. But seriously, I have high hopes for this one. Hopefully it will be just as epic and amazing as The Dark Knight. Just wish they would've went with a different title. Other than that, I'm stoked.

Of all women to get the role. This is one Im actually excited about..

The moment I saw the name "Anne Hathaway", I knew I was going to see it. She is my future wife, you know.

Anne Hathaway is disgusting as hell. Words can't describe how much I want to vomit every time I see her face. Though I'm stoked about Bane, though I doubt we're gonna get any Azrael out of it, which disappoints me

Hmm I don't care much for Anne Hathaway as Catwoman but If Heath Ledger as The Joker is any indication maybe it won't be as bad....maybe

But In my opinion Hathaway's Catwoman will never compare to this Crazy Bitch.



As for Bane I was expecting someone more I don't know evil? Black Mask or Hush or even Hugo Strange. Oh well, it'll be interesting to see Bane anyway.

Kinda funny though seeing as Bane, Two-face and kind of Scarecrow (If you want to believe that Batman Triumphant thing) were in Joel Schumacher's movies. And now they're in Nolan's.

And I'm also excited for Hathaway as Catwoman. How you can think she is disgusting is beyond me, though.

Hopefully this wil lalso be the last role of Bale as Batman. he does several outstanding Bruce Wayne's, but sucks as Batman. The suit design didn't help either.

Its probably going to be the last batman for a while until they reboot the series again.

I think this is the big name drop movie where they cocktease all the characters from the batman universe in some way.

Sorry, but Anne Hathaway as catwoman? Ugh. Anne Hathaway is a garbage actress. Very disappointing.

I thought the same thing... but I actually trust Nolan on making it good... we where all skeptical about Heath Ledger as the Joker, but he was good... I think Aaron Eckhart is a pretty bleh actor... but he was a good two face.

I was actually more worried about Bane being in the movies again! Hahaha, but im sure it'll be good.

Bane in is awesome. I wonder how he's gonna turn out.

But not happy that Catwomen is in and it's played by Anne Hathaway which makes it worse.
