True. I'm not saying the DLC roster wasn't picked ahead of time. I'm saying the actual work and programming of the DLC didn't start until after the game was finished (or near finish). There's been a few comments suggesting that the DLC was developed alongside the actual game and that it was just held back. I just think that with Boon's comments and the time table for when Lobo was released, that it's entirely possible that NRS didn't start working on and programming Lobo until after the main game was finished.

If NRS adds Scorpion to Injustice, it will show that they are incapable of doing anything beyond Mortal Kombat.

I am seriously hoping they avoid making that declaration.

Scorpion is the company logo, Mortal Kombat is always technically involved.

I know an appropriate place where scorpion can shove his spear into. I will personally use him as a punching bag to practice more combos with the entire cast.

Given the choice I'd have taken Scorpion over Batgirl. That is my feeling toward that character.

I'd rather have the crappiest character in DC than Scorpion. But I know Scorp is 100% going to be DLC, don't get your hopes up.

I actually hope that the 4 empty space would be filled by unlocking 4 secret fights(If you win you unlock them) Why pay $15 more.

Glad that Scorpion is included and MK is referenced in some form since the creators are Netherrealm Studios. Yeah,there might be more suitable DC characters to take his spot (still pissed Martian Manhunter is not in),but all the characters I care about are already in this game. Plus,it gives me some comfort since I loved MKvsDC despite what others might think about that game...

If I'm honest I think guest characters can be cool.

I don't see the point in including a character from another fighting game series, thats why I thought Kratos and Freddy were okay, because we're seeing what they're like in fighting game!

We already know what Scorpion is like in a fighting game, we've been playing as him for 20 years now!

Then why bother releasing the game until it's all completed, with all the characters finished? A release date can be set further back and/or pushed further back. It's a blatant money-grabbing scheme and i'm only using this game as an example of just how cheeky the person who came up with the idea is. THE GAME HASN'T EVEN BEEN OUT A FULL MONTH YET.

as for the other topic on this thread, i'm not sure how i'd feel about seeing Scorp with these characters (again) aince this was supposed to be NRS's departure from doing only MK games. The suggestion feels like they aren't comfortable letting this game stand on its own legs.

It's my least favorite thing about the gaming industry right now.

Why all the Scorpion hate? Don't buy'em if you don't want'em.

I think most of the anger is coming from two places.

1. Being that it's sort of a wasted spot. A proper DC character could have been in his place but NRS decided to renege on their promise of no outside characters.

2. Some people who gambled on the Season Pass and lost are upset. Which, is reasonable and unreasonable at the same time. No one likes losing money, even if it is a risk. People know the stakes but it won't stop em from being mad- go to a dog track sometime and you'll see.

Plus, Scorpion just plain sucks.

The only thing that angers me about Scorpion's possible inclusion is if he gets to do his Toasty Fatality [even just the modified "I burn them but don't kill them version from MKvsDC] on the beaten characters [They're getting up to lie down again for a reason] then that would mean that Scorpion was meant to be in from the get go.

Lobo's SUPER MOVE is kinda like toasty, in a Galaxy-esque Motorcycle way lol.
