Also, I find your thread to be misleading as the title says "Best Mortal Kombat Characters In terms of storyline and fighting ability" while the contents of the thread are referring to someone's favorite, which is different and subjective.

I mean, if we were going by the best in terms of storyline, Scorpion wouldn't be anywhere close.

I don't see why all of you don't like Stryker, Mokap, Asrah, & all those people because of there looks. It's about the game.

The title is misleading, because it implies something objective. However, what you're saying in the thread itself is implying something that's subjective.

Why would I want to get a higher rank and/or more attention, especially by trying to tell you something for your own good? If you did read the Community FAQ, then why did you double post when you could've easily edited your original post?



Excuse me? You don't know me so you can't say things like that, regardless of how long you've been viewing MKOnline.

I don't care how many visits you have. I just want you to follow some simple things, that's all. But no, you have to give such a big attitude about it all. All you have to do is change the title a bit and remember not to double post unless it's some kind of different situation, which it isn't.

Worst Fighting Ability: Stryker (Hua Chuan? WTF?)

So...... what's the point of posting up "Favorite character" and then writing who has the best storyline? Those are two completely different things. PLUS, from which game are we identifying the character's best storyline? Nobody has the same story in all the games you know..... except of course Scorpion who has the least thought out story in all the games: "Scorpion wants revenge..... Scorpion fails to avenge his family because he has the brain size of a rodent."

Best storyline: Sindel (MK3)
In a nutshell: Her realm was invaded, her husband killed, and she was forced to be wed with Shao Kahn. She went crazy and committed suicide, only to have her body secretly buried on Earth which would be used as Shao Kahn's loophole to traverse realms even when not given the authority to do so. When ressurected, she was brainwashed and her only hope was her daughter Kitana, who eventually svaed her with the help of Jade.

I love this story so much because it's 10,000 years in the making, it's so fresh and original. This was the best story they've thought of so far, and I'm not just saying that cuz Sindel is my girl. XD


Best fighting ability: Kenshi
Kenshi does use the art of Tai Chi which is all about concentration and precision. Mainly because it's sorta a defensive style, which I believe that a strong defense is the key to success. So maybe if Midway wasn't so worked up on letting Lui Kang win every tournament, perhaps Kenshi would be a good candidate for success.

dude....we dont suck up to them. like nightcrow said, if you have been here as long as you say, you would know we dont suck up. these people are higher ranked for a reason. and if we find something wrong, we will speak the truth. oh and, if you just dont like subby because of what he said about scorp.....get over it. everyone has there own opinion.

Anyway, I'll do a bit of a listing myself, and this won't be in a particular order. I'm not going to do the fighting abilities, because I don't know if you're talking about gameplay or the actual fighting abilities in terms of how they are in the story.

and by fighting ability i kind of meant it all....... but it's kind of hard to think of overall becuz each character has many games with different combos.
but ya if u just consider their specials combos in each game and storyline fighting u no just consider it all

Scorpion is stupid and the way he is in MKSM and MKA's Konquest clearly shows that.

His story being only about revenge is worn out and stale. He's been reduced to an overly 1-dimensional character who doesn't deserve to be redeemed. Do you honestly think that someone like him would rest if he got his revenge on Quan Chi? Scorpion himself is borderline villain due to him such a jackass for no logically explained reason, especially in MKSM where he wants to kill Liu Kang and Kung Lao.

As for the fighting ability, since you're saying both the gameplay and actual fighting ability in their stories, you'd be getting different answers for each character.
