Armageddon -- the legacy of 2012. The war waged to the end of days had refined the League to its most powerful parts, but in doing so, cost it greatly. Many warriors fell in final march of elimination, but few felt the sting of dire stakes as greatly as the KFL Champion: The_Purple_Bunny!

TPB had known perfection in his time as Champion. A string of defenses earned him immortality in history, but for all that hard work, his time would be undermined by a single fault. TonyTheTiger had cut a path through the fighting ranks, but one warrior rose to end his rise at the final hour. Genku had not been successful in his previous attempts, but at the summit of the KFL pyramid, he bested The_Purple_Bunny with the most devastating of results.

With the rubble of an apocalypse aborted beneath his feet, The_Purple_Bunny dared to rise again! Confrontation with TonyTheTiger had earned him the right to reclaim the title that was his. "The Predator" fallen for a second time, now all that remained between TPB and glory reborn was the pretender to the throne -- The "Great" Genku!

Genku had risen with a terrible force, crushing The_Purple_Bunny as the calendar turned. Renewed in a new age, The_Purple_Bunny would not be so easily dismissed. Indeed, the weight of winning the Championship appeared to have taken its toll. None of the momentum that carried him to the end of December was with him -- Genku never stood a chance! A +24 impact made inroads to pay the debt of revenge Genku incurred by taking +30 from The_Purple_Bunny. The Championship would complete the payment -- TPB triumphant!

The_Purple_Bunny's return to power confirms his status as one of the great heavyweights of the Kombat Fight League, but it also restores the objective that makes him an enemy of all. 2013 promises new challenges as the survivors of Armageddon reorganize to strike back against the champ -- while new competitors maneuver in the hopes of launching a brand new assault. The shifting sands reshape the landscape, and just when all hope seemed lost, a forgotten warrior returns from the battlefield. redman is back. The fight is on!

When the sun had set on the year 2012, it seemed as if a great many legend would perish in the frenzied battle called Armageddon. In truth, the fates of the fallen remained unknown -- enshrouded in mystery by the fog of a new day breaking.

It was believed redman was among the top ranks who'd faded into obscurity. It was impossible to tell if he was among the dead, or if the fight had simply left him. As the picture of 2013 began to form in its second week -- the fates would have it that redman returned, reemerging with a purpose unknown. Of course, so unanticipated was his return that even redman could not prepare himself for the unexpected challenge of Baraka_MK!

The path to the top was clear for BMK -- redman, the next immediate step standing in his way! Evenly matched, he hurled his wiles at the returned redman, taking him to the very brink of defeat, before falling tragically short! With his second victory for 2013, redman resumes his march toward an ultimate objective! Will that objective include #1 rank and reigning KFL Champion: The_Purple_Bunny? Only time will tell!

Scattered across the battlegrounds -- the KFL ranks grow larger still!
mwgrant0 stood to be accounted, battling Philip94 to an absolute standstill! As their struggle continues, MKRocket makes a decisive entry into the League, besting a beleaguered hydraslash in a narrow fought victory! "The Predator" TonyTheTiger returned to the winners ranks, once more, preventing Genku from a return clash for the KFL title. At the top of the ranks, it seems Sekktor and Ninja_Mime are destined for that honor -- Mime solid in his dismissal of a challenge from Unknown265!

Their battles throughout 2012 were as evenly matched as they were many... redman was thought eliminated at the turning of the calendar -- but he would be no mere casualty of the chaos unleashed during Armageddon. His return had been distracted by an unexpected attack, but finally redman would reach his true objective: his arch-rival - Nephrite!

The pair had battled upwards of six times throughout 2012, spurring each other to the top of the ranks. They very narrowly missed meeting in the war of Armageddon, becoming casualties of TonyTheTiger's rampage to the summit of victory. Refocused, it seemed as if redman was intent on completing the destiny he had been denied. As they had so many times before, redman and Nephrite would clash!

Alas; Nephrite would not be obliging to redman's goals of domination! A devastating defeat at the hands of m0s3pH had appeared to weaken him, but the taste of his own blood was fuel for the kombat fire burning within! Nephrite met his rival blow for blow! redman's return would not catch Nephrite unawares! Rising to the occasion, he defeats redman before the true nature of his return can be revealed!...

... One good return deserves another!
Rumors of VenoMark's apparent death had spread through the scattered ranks of the League. The restless combatant had been a potent arrival in 2012, but his combustible attack strategy had already cost him life in skirmishes elsewhere in the realm. His wanton lust for battle saw him miss the greatest clash of them all -- Armageddon! Was it possible he was again going to miss a new age of battle?

TheNinjasRock071394 was once a Champion of the League. His ranking had suffered dearly in the aftermath of Armageddon. Wandering aimlessly, the younger brother of m0s3pH becomes the first to witness the vengeful return of VenoMark! Confronted without warning, 071394 would have been forgiven for succuming to a spiteful ambush. Instead, his untapped reserve was unleashed! The former Champion looked like a true warrior once again! Fending off the attack, he defers the misassigned grudge to the man who owns it. Will VenoMark find his way to m0s3pH -- the man who killed him? Only time will tell...

The complexion of 2013 begins to arrange itself. From the shadows, forces of mixed intention watch the unfolding battles. A perfect start to 2013 had made a contender of Ninja_Mime. The former Champion tasted success briefly in 2012, but has been clawing his way back to that 1 week reign ever since. With The_Purple_Bunny firmly in his sights, immortality was again within reach for the Mime -- but the reigning 2-time Champion would not be so easily defeated...

Representing a class of heavyweights whose strength and experience shakes the very realm -- The_Purple_Bunny remains one of the most dominant figures to claim the KFL gold. In his 98th cumulative day as Champion, he never looked more powerful! In one fell swoop, he would usurp the #1 rank, replacing himself as the perfect 4-0 at the cost of Ninja_Mime's record! It was a comprehensive result, even if resilience allowed Ninja_Mime to escape relatively unscathed. TPB is the Champion! Tremble at his name!

It was an all together more personal affair for m0s3pH -- another hopeful of the top ranks. His 2013 had garnered strong results, but an unexpected attack from VenoMark had dragged him into a blood feud beyond the League! VenoMark had paid the ultimate price for dicing with m0s, but death is merely another chapter for the warriors of the Kombat Fight League! VenoMark's apparent resurrection had brought misery to m0s' brother just a week prior. Now the killer would answer to his prey!

From the ashes of defeat, VenoMark smoulders with a power capable of upsetting gods! Wild and undisciplined, his attacks are dangerous to all, but uncertain in the heat of battle. m0s3pH may have been unprepared for such a bitter assault, but his own strengths would hold out against the berzerker charge of his new enemy. The advantage would grant m0s3pH a well earned victory, but their clash was no one-sided affair. VenoMark is placated for now -- but revenge is but another attack away!...
