Familiar foes collided under KFL conditions as m0s3pH made his rise to the KFL Championship! A well earned victory took reigning champion The_Purple_Bunny into the record books -- his cumulative, two term reign as Champion extended beyond the 119 day total previously held by CaTigeReptile!

CTR was kept out of a defense by m0s3pH, who bested her, last week. She suffered a similar fate, this week, bested by VenoMark in a come-from-behind victory in a three-way contest including Scott-Howell! VenoMark's high ranking partner in crime, blacksaibot, fared well also, defending against a surprise challenge by mwgrant0!

Sekktor played defender elsewhere in the field, preventing MKRocket a rise to contention status. The win will likely give Sekktor another shot at the KFL Championship, but with so little time between his last defeat and another shot, he'll be relying on luck more than skill if he's to dethrone an undefeated TPB!

It was another gruelling lesson in the trials of The League as Sekktor made his second attempt to claim the KFL Championship! The relatively new competitor has earned a noteworthy reputation after a shakey finish to 2012, but against a heavyweight of the calibre that is reigning Champion The_Purple_Bunny -- Sekktor's skills pale.

A destructive +11 impact measured the punishment suffered by the upstart challenger! The win continues TPB's prolific reign as KFL Champion with a fourth successful defense! He chases the record he set during his first reign, late in 2012, where he successfully defended the title six times. The previous record was set by CaTigeReptile, who defended against five opponents.

CTR earned a solid win over former-Champion and longtime rival, TheNinjasRock071394! CTR was denied the chance to protect her standing record of 119 cumulative days Champion, but appears back on track to reclaim contender status. VenoMark blocked her efforts, last week, but he got a taste of his own medicine in the field this week, when Ninja_Mime emerged to inflict a +2 win.

The incredible reign of The_Purple_Bunny continues; claiming yet another repeat customer in the guise of former KFL Champion - NInja_Mime!
Mime had been TPB's first challenger after he reclaimed the Championship in January, but familiarity would not expose the champ to any unforseen weaknesses! A well earned victory was rendered with +2 impact: TPB's fifth successful defense!

A +3 result would indicate a solid victory earned by Ghostdragon! He put the kibosh on MKRocket's efforts to ride a strong 2013 debut toward a premature Championship challenge! GD will now graduate to the title, where he can be expected to be a serious threat in a battle that will see a victorious TPB equal his own Championship defense record (six)!

Last week's challenger, Sekktor, was given a lesson in humility when he tasted a devastating +11 destruction. It appeared the upstart was still vulnerable in Week 10, taking a +5 hit in a comprehensive defeat against VenoMark! VenoMark remains a satellite contender prospect.

Week 11 of the Kombat Fight League would be one for the record books as The_Purple_Bunny secured a phenomenal sixth Championship defense!

Ghostdragon escaped with a minimum impact, but the result was utterly comprehensive. The_Purple_Bunny has long been one of the heavyweights of competition, but it wasn't until October, 2012 that he backed it up with his first Championship win! Proving it was no fluke -- TPB has now repeated the record-setting feats of his first reign, once again securing six defenses! Having done so with a 2013 fight record of 9-0, the question now becomes: Who can defeat The_Purple_Bunny?

A hard fought battle between m0s3pH & VenoMark may produce the answer! m0s3pH once again returned to the top of the ranks, securing a well earned victory against an evenly matched foe! Last week, m0s3pH earned a second chance to claim the KFL Championship that has eluded him for so long. In doing so, he would ensure his entry into the history books - for better or worse! Undefeated throughout 2013; The_Purple_Bunny quickly reclaimed the title he lost to Genku, before enjoying a record equal six successful defenses against some of the biggest names in The League: Ninja_Mime, Sekktor, m0s3pH & Ghostdragon. With m0s3pH back for a rematch, TPB fights not only to maintain the glory and prestige of the KFL Championship - but also to etch a record breaking seventh reign with his tenth unanswered victory for the year!

Like two titans they collide! Seasoned veterans of competition, whose accolades and success goes well beyond the Kombat Fight League! Each knows the other well. They have been reflected in the others eye, time and again. Inseperable by all measures but Championship gold, they collide with explosive results! The battle is hard and evenly matched! When the dust settles -- history belongs to The_Purple_Bunny! Winner for a record breaking seventh time!

The question now remains: Who can beat The_Purple_Bunny?
In 2013, the answer has thus far been: NO ONE!

At the conclusion of Week 12 record, it is redman who finds himself at the top of the rankings. #2 behind TPB's 10-0 perfect record, redman has walked a determined path throughout 2013. His focus appears pulled, but his right to challenge is certainly compelling.

Sekktor has already faced TPB twice in 2013. His efforts, though noble, have resulted in punishing defeats, the second more severe than the first. He has the energetic spirit to overcome impossible odds, but its origin comes the fearlessness of inexperience. VenoMark is fearless - or at least aggressive enough to challenge the champion. In a system that rewards action, VenoMark is half a notch away from Sekktor. He's come close many times over, but a battle scarred body has failed him at the final hurdle each time. CaTigeReptile, too, has had battles with close calls. She's beaten the best, but struggled when the result counted most. A former three-time Champion, it may be knowing too much that has held her back!

The future appears uncertain, if not for the undeniable consistency that has been The_Purple_Bunny! The battle continues!

Week 13, Season '13: a convergence of events that threatens to change the fabric of the Kombat Fight League forever! The Double 13 spells bad luck for some, but for the reigning KFL Champion, surprise adversity would be converted into another moment for the history books! The only question that remains now -- is this the end of an era?

Since returning to the League, redman has been on the trail of a conspiracy acting upon the League from behind-the-scenes. His suspicions were vague, but quickly implicated some of the heavy hitters competing in the ranks! Ghostdragon emerged as an appearent enforcer for the mysterious group -- but even redman had failed to consider the true implications of the attack! Week 13 would officially reveal The Regime of Gods Among Us -- a corruption that goes all the way to the top!

The_Purple_Bunny's second reign as KFL Champion has resulted in one of the most dominant tenures ever seen! With his 7th defense (Week 12), he set a new record for dominance, stretching to a 10th consecutive week as title holder. This success had seen some major players come and go, resulting in a complicated tapestry of would-be challengers. Many names were pegged to step up next, but in Week 13, it would be Mick-Lucifer who emerged as leader of The Regime and self-appointed #1 contender!

It was to be a hard fought heavyweight contest -- the most threatening to The_Purple_Bunny's long reign as Champion! Even so, the corrupting influence of The Regime was denied the power of the KFL Championship -- TPB too strong in this epic encounter against the grand conspirator!

The Regime may have been denied the ultimate prize, but against their most dangerous opponent, the sway of Week 13 would be in their favour! redman once again found himself teamed with Nephrite -- this time against the combined might of Gods Among Us: CCShadow & Scott-Howell! The Regime duo would be comfortable victors against their opponents, calling upon a history of tandem competition!

I had everything.. I was King of the Mountain.... And then that stupid drunk rabbit got in my way and nearly cost me everything.... I'd hit rock bottom.. Bottom of the barrel.. I was Inadequate.. mediocre... sub-standard.... ironic because I just kicked the ass of a guy named Subman..

And now we got this idiotic zealot running around preaching about "The Regime" taking over and screwing things up.. Well good luck because if anyone is going to knock off the champion & take that KFL Championship it's going to be me. I respect what you have done in the KFL Genku but let's face it your time is up, it's time for the new wave of warriors to have their shots now & I will be leading the way. I had a tough rookie year here in the KFL but this year I am now focused & hungry for my shot & I proving it week in & week out. For the past six weeks now I have defeated everyone who has been put before me, even CaTigReptile & Sekktor couldn't stop me last week in the biggest triple threat match of year so far. So for this Regime group they can go on & on about they are taking over or whatever that is fine by me as long as they don't get in my way to the top of mountain.
