I voted Raiden, but I'm kind of bored with Richard Epcar voicing the character again. Why couldn't they bring back Christopher Lambert from the original MK movie or maybe Clancy Brown from that cheesy Defenders of the Realm cartoon? At least both of them added a bit of personality to their character than the bland monotone Epcar Raiden.

I vote for Noob because I like the idea of shadow, portal and clone powers, they all seem more creative than just plain thunder. Don't get me wrong, thunder abilites are still fucking awesome, and I like Raiden.

Its not that I don't necessarily like them, its more that they are overrated and are being praised more than they should be in some cases. Lately its like everyone is hating on the characters that made Mortal Kombat what it is today and give credit to those who didn't really have that big of an impact

I think it's because alot of people are bored of the same old thing being repeated over and over again. We want something new. Not necessarily replacing the old characters, but giving them some new objectives to make them more exciting again.

The characters who have had a lesser impact now have a chance to make a bigger impact, as the MK storyline are making some new turns and doing new things. And I think that's what alot of us are hoping for.

But that said... Kitana, the original Edenian girl... She's had quite the impact on the franchise from the start, along with Mileena as well. So credit is where credit is due.

Another lousy tournament with the same faces in the finals. Subzero, Ermac, Raiden, and noob. I don't get the obsession with the ninja characters.it just makes for a boring predictable finale
