Exactly. It's like this in any 'real' sport. Their are slightly different rules in the postseason than in the regular season. But the game is still played the same.

But if we do that for the entire Grand Championship, this game isn't any different than a GameFAQs tournament or something. It is called the Boot !AND! Immune game. Meaning both a boot and immune vote are placed. This is a strategic game, not just a pick your favorites poll. That is what it will turn into when we stray away from the boot and immune system...nothing more than another useless poll.

Okay, we need to settle this once and for all! How should we handle Grand Championships? And we are still arguing about that. Tgrant, next time you log on, we need to VOTE on this so we can decide it and move on with the long-awaited Grand Championship. That's exactly what we did when the clones were exposed in Game 11. Of course I know Crow's not going to agree to this.

A: Bracket setup, as expressed by Bloodline666

B: My refinement of moosie_fate's idea, in which each round lasts one day, and the two characters with the most immune votes become immune, and the two characters with the most boot votes are booted.

C: Extend each rounds number of votes to tally to a 30, and the number of votes to boot/immune a character to 15.

D: Keep the rules exactly as they are.

Now, please vote for which idea you feel is best.

Also, how exactly isn't my idea fair? They're 24-hour rounds so EVERYONE can vote, and the characters who get the largest number of IMMUNE votes are IMMUNED... the characters with the largest number of BOOT votes are BOOTED. I am attempting to let everyone have the chance to vote, while keeping rules that resemble how this game is generally played.

Okay, so the voting has officially started. Then I vote for A. Since this is the championship, then I think it should be different than the average game.

I vote C. I figure the boot and immune format has been fun so far, so why change it now?

To me, it was a hard choice between B and C. But I think it will be fairer to go with B so everybody is guaranteed a vote.

The next game will begin with fifteen of the sixteen fighters in the championship added back into the pool. Whoever wins the grand championship will remain out of the games until the next championship.

I doubt the MKD characters will be added until after the next set of games, when MKD is actually released.

b. just because i dont get to log in often. just twice maybe three times per day. i know you boys will boot the four females first.i want to be able to vote for them in every round.

Since B is Crows modified version of my idea I’m voting B.

Keeping in mind that it’s a mix between the standard game and the final round which EVERY character in this game has been through and won, it’s not like the whole game is changing, it’s just merging two aspects of the earlier games to encourage higher voting & determine who is the grand champion. Moving everyone into brackets definitely takes away from the ‘every character for themselves’ aspect of the game. + the way I see it, it’s not exactly fair if people in the good time zone get to vote 3 or 4 times before people in another zone get to make their first vote.
