Hey guys,
Just letting everyone know that, even though this isn't a major thing, there will be no poll this week. B_C is the only one who has an account set up for the poll, and he's having some "personal problems" getting on this week.
Thank you,
- Leo

Aw...I was kinda hoping for a poll/quiz to tide me over until the next episode, but it's not horrible news I suppose.
BTW, are there still plans to make this into a game, and what is the status of the 'Cover' for this story? Thanks in advance to the answers for my questions

"You look like hell..."
* The Bianca/Elandra scene was brilliant! The way she caught that Sai was so Beautiful and Majestic! LOL at Elandra nailing that Guard in the Groin!
The SERIES OF SHOTS was done really well.
Bianca needs to learn when to stop Talking
and I can't wait to see this battle!
* The Maverick/Mace scene was fantastic! It was so Exciting and Eventful, it kept me on the edge of my Seat! The Imagery used to tell Maverick's sorcery was outstanding. The Fight overall was one of the Best ones so Far!
* Rebels/Snakes Scene was excellent! LMFAO! Serpen Kia Owned Diavol with his picturesque gold vehicle Donnovan and Diavol friction made Good Drama and intenseified the scene! Well Done!
* Vice/Leona/Lara scene was Beautiful and Powerful! The Fight was very actiony and very Deep. The Hatred between them only intensifies the fight.
"Look over here, you mentally challenged oaf!"
Lara and her Comedic Comments are back!
Also her conversation with Vice was deep, and she basically gave Vice a Mental Kick to the family Jewels.
* So Viro is the one that is suppying Lara with that Toxin...hmmm Nice twist! I want to her more about this "retaliation" of his. Never the less, great scene!
All in all, This Episode is by far one of the best! Cannot wait for Episode 9!

no quiz :(. Either way, I can't wait for episode nine.
Hey guys,
Episode 9 is ready and will be released early tomorrow! I'll also try to leave a preview sometime before that, though that's not guaranteed (I doubt anyone cares for previews with the episode one day away).
This is a big one: lots of events going on simultaneously, so I'm sure it'll be very interesting and intriguing to everyone who reads it!
Can't wait for you guys to check it out!

Stop your 'OoOo'-ing B_C and wait no More! Here's episode 9 of the series! This is a big one, equaling thirty minutes in "media"-length, meaning it's a very eventful one that should keep everyone satisfied until #10!

Deadly Dominion: Episode 9
Stratagem
"The conflicting wants of Elandra and Bianca leads the two fighters into an all-out battle, its aftermath serving as a thin line between whose fate will be placed in the hands of Luther.
Meanwhile, Lara is decided on atoning for Mace's presence in the tournament by concocting an obscure plot that may not only guarantee his loss, but also the Adonis Stone for Luther and herself."
_______________________________________________________
It takes place one day before the tournament beings, so we're getting close! We're finally reaching that time where the necessary events that need to occur beforehand are all dealt with, so the story can make a leap.
We'll be having another poll this Wednesday for sure, and I'll try to have a second "extra feature" available as well, to atone for the past week with no bonuses
I'm sure everyone went into depression over that one.
As for the game, we're still planning to make it, yes. We just got over dealing with how we're gonna make the cutscenes, which has been a big source of headache up until now.
The cutscenes for the game will be realistic, 3D mini-movies! I have contacted someone who will be able to make them for me, complete with voice-overs! In fact, you can start PMing in the next few weeks to tell me if you'd like to give voice to one of the characters!
Hopefully everything works out and nothing goes wrong so we can have these cutscenes without complications.
As for the cover, I am currently drawing the characters who will be on it (since our frantic search for a top-notch artist was in vain) and D_W is digitally-coloring these images. Once we're done and the images are ready, we'll be contacting Pred once more so he can throw it all together and work his magic!
Now, as for the episode... as always, all comments are appreciated and welcome, and I'll do my best to give input on each one!
Thank you,
- Leo

Beautiful Episode!
* The Lara/Luther Conversation was interesting. Luther is quite worried about Mace, as he should be. Also Luther is a PLAYA!~ Looks like Lara is going to be Emperess of Dimentia. (Or will she o_O!)
* "Damn it all! Why did you have to stop in the middle of these blasted woods!
Wow Leo....the fight was Awsome! Bianca's attacks and use of her magical Abilites were great! I also Love how you incorporated Bianca's Rage and Dance into her fighting. The fight was eventful and exciting, and kept me on the edge of my seat! You were lucky S_S that Tree was there!
"I'm sick of playing with you! No longer am I bringing you whole to Luther, you tramp! I'm going to slice you into grained food for his pet!"
* Looks like Lara's got a new Pet! I cannot wait to find out more about this Plan of theirs.
"The weapons are being flawlessly manufactured back on Earth, and will be ready to be smuggled into Dimentia very soon."
OoOoOoOo....Interesting!
* Hmmm...I wonder how this Plan of Vlads is going to turn out. Its good to see Hamon again, I wonder how he's going to prove himself to Luther? Can't wait to see where this goes.
* Quite a Bold thing of Millena and Logan to do, but it made for a Great Cliff Hanger!
All in all, This was a fantastic Episode! Cannot wait for Episode 10!

Even though Luther seems to have promised Lara the title of Empress, he has still decided on waiting until the outcome of the tournament. As we expect, a lot can happen until then. And since I definitely do not have ALL of the series planned, not even I can guarantee what will come of this promise! She would make one hell of a bossy empress, tough, that's for sure.

I thought there was not enough emphasis placed on the fact that Bianca is a dancer, perhaps even before a fighter. Her battle against Lara didn't give her much of a chance to boast her flowing movements, since she had to work tremendously-hard to land the normal attacks. With Elandra, the environment sort of handicapped them both, giving both fighters much more connecting blows than normally. Perfect chance for Bianca to finally be able to get a little cockier with her fighting.

Yeah, turns out Drake is something along the lines of Lara's third eye in the Earth Dwelling (seems she thinks of everything...) and could cause the real Earth competitors a lot of headache. Not only that, but he's assisting an obscure organization in smuggling war-weapons into Dimentia: combined with the powers of the Adonis Stone, it would give Luther unbeatable destructive power.
"Lara's got a new Pet!" LoL, what a way to put it, B_C. She's just a little bit manipulative in her malevolence.

It was tough, but I guess a demon really can be one hell of an actor (no pun intended... or is it? O_o). We have to remember, though, that Luther isn't one to be lied to for long: we see that in his suspicion-filled dialogue. Like I said, I don't plan things that far ahead, but I have a feeling that if Davila starts messing with his chances of success, things could go downhill and fast, and I dont even wanna imagine what Luther would do to Hamon if he found out the truth.

It's about time that these two proved to everyone that they're not here just to fight in the tournament: they're here to bring Luther down once and for all. And on top of that, it seems Millena in particular is really vicious about doing so, and showed no hesitation and a surplus of determination when she all of a sudden decided to just march up into Luther's fortress and tell him off. Hopefully she gets out without a scratch, cuz the "Top Dog" looks mad...

Once again, and amazing episode!
Lara's got her hands in so many things, it seems as though she's eventually going to get caught up in something...it's really interesting to see everything that she is apart of, and how close they are to connecting.
As for the Elandra and Bianca fight, I loved it
Bianca got to look more like a dancer, and I loved that Elandra seems to be a totally different person than when she was first introduced - I hope that trend continues through the tournament.
The setting for the fight was really interesting, because as you said it handicapped both fighters; I really liked how both of their skills in athleticism came across so cleanly.
Also, keep in mind B_C...Elandra ulitmately "won" the fight, even though she was tired and run down; Bianca didn't have that excuse
I loved the line "Don't worry... I'll set you free, though it might hurt."
All summed, this was a damn near perfect episode, and I can't wait to see how things escalate from here!

I loved the episode. Yay!!! Finally Drake is back!!! I love how Lara toyed with him. Great job with Drake. I loved the fight between Elandra and Bianca. The dance moves, were quite easy to imagine. I like how Hamon came up with some lies on the spot. Can't wait for Epi. 10

I think you're the first to really notice just how many things Lara has her hands in. This is all a result of her manipulative nature: attaining power over many different things in the background in order to use them to her advantadge when the need rises.

I also loved that fight, and the setting (as you said) was a nice addition. To me, it was more entertaining than anything: imagine being in an intense fight, and at the same time, having to deal with some violent, "living" flora that seems bent on taking down anything that comes near it! I bet no one saw that coming last episode

Hamon was very good at keeping his little charade up despite the huge amount of pressure placed on his shoulders. But Lord Vladimir being the "brains behind the operation" leads me to think that he's got a lot more to do with the believability of Hamon's story than Hamon himself.

Well keep in Mind S_S, More of Bianca's injuries(Even though they were not Substancial) were inflicted by a tree and not Elandra so there is no Room for Bragging. Also this was only the first of their fights., Next Time, there won't be a Tree to save you! >= P
And D_W, It is certainly not "Ture".

Alright guys - even though it is one day late, we have this week's "Bonus Feature" ready to tide things over until Episode 10's release!
We're trying a new type of "Poll" this week: one where your response will have to be in the form of a post. Basically, you will reply to the thread with your guess/answer in order to participate.
================================
What Are Lara's Plans For Mace?
It has become clear by now that Mace is a source of fret for Luther, who expects him to be as skilled in combat as his late father and to attempt and dig deeper into his mysterious death.
Ever since she became aware of Mace's presence in Dimentia, Lara has spoken vaguely of something she has "planned" for the Earth fighter. We all know of her conniving and controlling ways, but can this plot of hers really disable Mace's abilities of winning the tournament and of uncovering the truth behind his father's death? What is this plot of hers, anyway? Time to give your best shot to answering before it is revealed!
The hints for the answer of today's question can be found in Lara's latest actions and dialogue!
1. The first step is to attain information on Mace's desire to find out more about his father's death.
2. She claims that the success of her plan will result in Mace's chances of winning the Stone being crippled.
3. She also claims that it will hinder, or even put a stop, to his search for the truth of the obscure happenings in the past tournament.
Use your creativity and common sense to make a good guess about what exactly Lara has planned for Mace. Talk about what you think her next actions will be, and just how she plans on succeeding.
================================
NOTE: I wanted to have a "prize" for the one person who guesses it correctly, or comes closest to guessing it. I still don't have a good idea of what this prize could be, but I'll think about it until the poll closes. Feel free to make suggestions, I really need them!
Poll closes on Saturday, with the "winner" announced! Good Luck, and don't be afraid to guess!

lmao...well, the last hit from the tree, and indeed the one that ended the fight, is a blow that was directed by Elandra, while your character was caught in mere bushes
It'll be interesting to see their next fight (I hope there is one, lol); their rivalry is really interesting so far
@Leo: Hm...I like this kind of between episode special...I'll try to come up with an educated guess

Answer: I think it might have something to do with Drake's weapons.
Reason: I'm guessing Drake's weapons are guns. (Leo: She also claims that it will hinder, or even put a stop, to his search for the truth of the obscure happenings in the past tournament) Guns can kill or cause a bad injury to person. I think she whats Drake to shoot Mace (thats reason she wants Drake to be friends with Mace).
Well, but keep in mind what she said to Viro in a past episode: that she does not want Logan or Millena dead before the tournament, so that Dimentia will not be automatically the #1 suspect of the murder.
This shows that she, along with the other Dimentians, want no one dead - at least not until the tournament.
Just an extra hint in case you want to re-think it a little more and get closer to the actual answer.

I think she might just want the Adonis Stone for herself. I think that if Mace knows who killed his father, then he'll be stronger than Lara or even Emporer Luthor. So as long as he doesn't find out, he can't unleash his full potential. My 'educated' guess.

My Guess:
Lara will use her puppet Drake to gain Mace's trust and friendship. With this, Drake can discover how far Mace is willing to go to seek the truth. (Whether Revenge is consuming his every thought and clouding his judgement or not.)
If So, Mace could probably be easily fooled by a Manipulative Woman such as Lara, who could very well lead him astray from the truth and pin it on another Realm Perhaps. Drake could also lead him astray, perhaps even toward Millena and Logan. If So, and if Revenge comes before anything in Mace's mind, he might attempt to get retribution, leading to him being kicked out of the tournament by the Watchers.
Also Viro might play a part in this as well. Perhaps if he Kidnaps or murders Heiligan Royalty, the blame of the murder of Jonathan Ryder could be placed on Viro...just another Pawn lost on the Chess Field. Same goes for Drake. There is nothing really connecting him to Lara or Dimentia so he could be set up for the blame just as easily.

IM OFFF GROUNDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well very nice job leo. Excellent episodes. As for your poll
I think that Laras plan is this
1. Drake becomes Mace's friend
2. Drake's manufactured weapons arrive in Dimentia after the first round of the tournament.
3. The weapons are just like the ones that Jonathan Ryder was killed with
4. And it was all Drakes fault. '
Muahahahahahaha!!!

another guess: Lara wants try and get Mace to think Logan, Millena or Heiligan Royalty kill Mace's father.
To do that she must try and get Drake to be friends with Mace, Drake act like a good friend by helping him find the murderer (but he not really helping him to find real murderer). Drake will try and trick Mace into thinking Logan, Millena or Heiligan Royalty are murderer. Mace will not kill Logan, Millena or Heiligan Royalty before the tournament because of honor (or some crap like that), so Mace will try to kill them at the start of the tournament.
If Mace kills them, that meansHeiligan will have no change of winning the tournament and Mace might be throw out the tournament or worst (which means Lara will kill 2 birds with one stone and not get her hands or Dimentia's hands dirty).
